I have an asp.net application which has web.config file in every folder of the application. Every folder has many aspx pages in it.I need to assign/deny privileges through coding for every individual pages of folders.The privileges is role based privileges.so some roles will have privileges to only some pages in each folder.
Please help me how to achieve this..

This isn't a feature of Magento, and would require a core file to be overwritten. There are safe ways to do this, and most likely it'd be just this one file:
app/code/core/Mage/Adminhtml/Controller/Action.php
And a simple way to accomplish that without introducing an entire module structure would be to copy it to your local codepool and modify it there:
app/code/local/Mage/Adminhtml/Controller/Action.php
Local codepool is loaded before core, and in Magento class names match locations in the file system, so if this file exists in local then Magento won't bother looking for it in core.
I want to put all my admin views in admin and want to put all my role specific views in other folders. But When I want to access all these views what should I do for that. please provide me help. I have all my views outside views folder.

I am new to cakephp development. I have create user controller to register, login & update own profile in the user table. I can access the user controller with http://local-host/my_project/user/login.
I have also a admin table in database so that admin can login and manage user in my project. I want to create a folder separate folder (ex: admin) in the controller directory so that i can access the controller files using http://local-host/my_project/admin/controller/login & http://local-host/my_project/admin/controller/manage.
You should have a look at 'prefix routing' in the manual, it seems that this is what you're looking for:

Another solution is to develop the 'admin' part of your application as a plugin. This will keep your frontend and backend controllers/models/views separated. As a bonus, the backend may can be re-used for other projects as well (depending on its design of course)

My client has Joomla! ver 1.5.14 installed on the remote server. I logged in using the url /administrator/ with login 'admin'. When landed on the admin page after successful login, I observed that the top menu has only two elements, Site and Help. All other elements like Menus, Content, Components, Extensions etc are not there.
Also I do not find any way to access those elements (menus, components). There are not icons on the screen to access them.
Could someone please help me figure out this issue?

It's very strange that this should happen unless your client has been fiddling with the core Joomla files or database tables.
Update the site to the latest version of the 1.5 series (1.5.26)
Download the full Joomla package, extract the administrator, components, includes, libraries, modules and plugins folder, zip them up and upload to the server, replacing the current folder. Not to worry, this will only override the core files which I assume haven't been edited.
Try downloading and installing another admin template.
Else the only other thing I can think of is reconstructing the website which might take a while, depending on the amount of work that went into it.
In Joomla! 1.5.x a common security step was to create an alternate "super user" and downgrade the default admin account to a standard registered. Due to issues in early versions of 1.5 though it wasn't recommended to delete or disable this account.
This sounds like what is going on with your admin account.
You can check this by looking at the database checking the table jos_users look for the username admin and see what it's usertype is set to. At the same time look for a user that has an usertype of Super Administrator (yes, really the words Super Administrator).
Once you have the username of the Super Administrator, you will need to find the password. If the client doesn't know it then you will have to recover the admin password.
I am looking for a module/extension, or something that can help me to
make a page/item that only one specific user registered can see.
I would like also create a space dedicated to this user, where i can publish there pages and aticles.
Maybe using php and the variable that contains the username and an iframe, but I dont know how to doit.

GMAccess is a Joomla! component that makes managing groups and access permissions easy, you will be able to create a special group and add your user (via Joomla's user management) to it and manage which pages can be viewed by that group.
