Non-dev Marketer using Drupal 7 having trouble adding images to our homepage - only showing codes after uploading image into Media Browser

Image field is set to default. Image views in edit mode, just not on live site. I've tried using different image types (jpg, png) but not working.

Why my image couldn't show in Safari but can show in Chrome?

The image url is image url,it can show in Chrome but can't show in Safari, why is that?
The extension in the url of the image suggests that it is a jpeg image.
But the contents of the file are actually a webp image.
The contents of the file starts with the webp magic number: RIFFF\ WEBPVP8.
Just open the file in a text editor to check yourself.
Webp is an image format currently only supported in Chrome and Opera browsers.
That would explain why the image will show in Chrome but not in safari, or IE or Firefox for that matter.
The easiest solution would be to convert the webp image to a JPEG image.

PHP Image Upload Resize, Watermark, Title & Copyright Info

Ive written an image upload and resize script for my website which allows users to upload images, and then the script resizes the images in 3 different sizes and adds a watermark image (my website logo) on the top.
The problem I have is, that if a user then tries to upload one of the resized photos again, it will then add the logo watermark on top of it again.
What I want is to maybe add some information to the uploaded image (i.e. author, which I could set to my website name), so that if a user uploads an image which has already been watermarked, I can put a check in my script so that I dont add the watermark logo again.
Is this possible with PHP?
Take a look at this http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.iptcembed.php
