Ellipsis in Firefox without going to Mozilla.org - firefox

In order to get ellipsis to work in Firefox, I need to create an extra XML file that makes several references to Mozilla.org to get the Firefox to recognize the CSS3 text-overflow feature.
<bindings xmlns="http://www.mozilla.org/xbl" xmlns:xbl="http://www.mozilla.org/xbl" xmlns:xul="http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul">
However, if possible, I will like to not having to refer Mozilla.org at all if I can get all the definitions locally on the web servers just in case if the web servers blacklist Mozzila.org.
And curiously "http://www.mozilla.org/xbl" returns a 404 error but the xmlns is definitely required, otherwise ellipsis will not work.
Please let me know if anyone has a better solution.
Thanks,
badallen

The url is really just an identifier that is unique. The fact it looks like a url is just because that is an easy way to create an unique identifier.

using emoji from different server, nextcord bot

I'm trying to get emoji's from a another server.
I creates a server object for the server, it is a constant because I want to only pull from this server.
for emoji in main_tuple:
emoji_name_id =await server.fetch_emoji(emoji)
emoji_array.append(f"<{emoji_name_id.name.lower()}:{emoji_name_id.id}>")
error:
nextcord.ext.commands.errors.CommandInvokeError: Command raised an
exception: NotFound: 404 Not Found (error code: 10014): Unknown Emoji
I should mention I want to display it another server, I know this is probably obvious but yeah.
main_tuple is a directionary in a database that has the emoji id and name.
the error
Also the bot is part of the server it's getting the id from.
I have looked at: discord.py emoji all servers bot in
and it does not work for me.
First Issue, you are making a wrong reference.
<:Name:ID> and not <Name:ID> (if you don't see it, you missed the first colon)
Another issue,
emoji_name_id.name.lower()
Custom emojis are to have to have 'exact' name and ID as they have, by using lower method, you would be trying to reference a wrong custom emote.
For example:
The actual emote which might have the following reference <:ThisIsACoolEmote:ID>, while you are appending <:thisisacoolemote:ID> which doesn't exist
To mitigate this, you can just append str(emoji_name_id) which will automatically give you the correct emote reference which is in the format <:Name:ID:> and yes, it also will format animated emojis too, i.e:<a:Name:ID>
also fetching here might not be the best practice, you can use bot.get_emoji instead which gets emote from internal cache if you have access to member Privileged Intent.

How do I debug work of 2sxc if Visual Query works perfectly during debug, but cshtml code can't access data?

I've edited some existing visual queries of Blog 4.0 application and when I was debugging it - it worked perfectly. But then on page it stopped working. Any attempt to use key with Data like Data["Posts"] raises System.Collections.Generic.KeyNotFoundException. App.Query["Blog Posts List"]["Posts"] returns something, but any attempt to access its fields raises another exception (don't remember the name, but it said that there's no such member inside that object).
I didn't rename queries, I didn't change application settings. I just edited logic of 2 queries. I renamed 1 wiring endpoint name across 3 queries in whole chain.
How do I debug it? How can I see what does cshtml receive from database so I don't guess and put my crystal ball away?
In general, App.Query["Name of Query"] will get you the streams of data. You usually need to convert it using AsDynamic() or AsList() to something you can work with.
This should help some; What is Data?
If you're just running into problems with field names, you probably forgot the AsList or AsDynamic, just like #accuraty-jeremy mentioned.
For real debugging, go to insights, you'll see what happens - but in your case it probably won't help, because your working with an object that's not dynamic (so doesn't support .FirstName) until you AsList/AsDynamic it.
My bad: I confused two different files - _List.cshtml and _List Paging.cshtml. So I was searching for an error in the code of wrong file.

What to use for embedded arrays?

Is there support for embedded arrays in form? Like list of emails or phone numbers (these entities do not exist as standalone resource so it is impossible to use Reference* fields/inputs). SelectArrayInput looks promising, but it needs to know in advance possible options which is not the case (maybe there is an easy way to modify it to accept any option after hiting an enter button?).
Not currently, you'll have to make a custom input. If you do, please make it an addon and we'll reference it in the documentation.
Also note that someone started an addon about this: https://github.com/marmelab/admin-on-rest/pull/697

Parse.com Mixed Content Error

I'm creating a web application using parse and have found that in order for a user to authenticate I need to make all requests using HTTPS. I'm able to switch this over and get it to work correctly, but when I do I get all kinds of mixed content errors because I'm retrieving PFFile objects which only return a non-secure URL.
This wouldn't even be a huge concern with Chrome or Safari but of course IE needs to present a message to the user and block all this content. Are there any potential work arounds? Why can't parse just put a setting in the app to enable files to be served from a secure url? This seems completely ridiculous. How do people get around this? Are you completely avoiding the use of PFFile?
Replace http:// with https://s3.amazonaws.com/.
So if you start with this:
http://files.parsetfss.com/b05e3211-bf8b-.../tfss-fa825f28-e541-...-jpg
The final url will look something like this:
https://s3.amazonaws.com/files.parsetfss.com/b05e3211-bf8b-.../tfss-fa825f28-e541-...-jpg

How can I implement a content converter in Firefox for all page elements?

I'm attempting to port over an Internet Explorer plugin to Firefox, but I'm not sure where to look for what I need.
Basically I need to be able to filter all content that is received by the browser with a certain Content-Type header. I tried implementing a stream converter, and this works, but only for the top-level document in the page, frame, or iframe. I had the same problem with IE, and getting around it was really hacky, and since I would ideally like this to be cross platform I would really like to be able to do this in Firefox without resorting to vtable hacks.
The content is served compressed with a proprietary compression format. So I need to receive the data, decompress it, and change the Content-Type back to what the original uncompressed file should have.
If there is a way to just filter all data received, that would probably be acceptable, I could handle parsing the header myself.
Thanks
I think I may have found what I needed. I came across this link which is used for tracing HTTP calls: http://blues.ath.cx/firekeeper/resources/http_tracer.html
There seems to be some problems with the JavaScript implementation for some reason, and I'm not a JavaScript guru to figure it out, but I've implemented it in C++ and initial results suggest that I should be able to modify it for my needs.
Basically we're replacing the nsIHttpProtocolHandler service with our own implementation, which keeps a reference to the initial implementation. When a call is made to the service, we just proxy it over to the saved original implementation. Then we provide our own implementation of nsIHttpChannel and nsIStreamListener which we use as proxies too.
Again we proxy most of the calls back off to the original handlers. But in OnDataAvailable, instead of passing the data on to the underlying nsIStreamListener, we save it using nsIStorageStream. Then in OnStopRequest, after we've gotten all of the data, we can decompress it and then call OnDataAvailable on the original handler, followed by OnStopRequest.
It has worked on some small simple tests so far, but I'll have to put it through some more rigorous tests... I'll also have to figure out if I can do the same thing with HTTPS.
The biggest problem I see at the moment is that it relies on some unfrozen interfaces such as nsIHttpChannelInternal. Can't be helped though as far as I can tell, and my version compatibility requirements are pretty small, so I can live with it if I have to.
In the meantime, if anybody has any other suggestions, I'm all ears :D
