Aptana Studio 3 Full Screen Support - macos

Is full screen support for the Mac stand-alone version of Aptana Studio 3 going to be in the works? Mac OS X Lion came out yesterday and I love the full screen apps. I've been trying to find a way to get Aptana to have that same functionality.

Add this repo to Aptana :

And install the fullscreen enabler.

I believe this is more an Eclipse issue than an Aptana one. I would suggest posting this as a feature request with Eclipse.

Android studio quit unexpectedly on Mac Catalina beta

I installed the latest version of Mac OS (Catalina Beta 10.15) and faced with the following problem: when I open Android studio and start writing code studio quits with such crash report. Can you help me to solve this problem, as it really doesn't allow to work normally. I think that re-installing can help, but maybe there are any other solutions?

It's a know problem in several JetBrains based products.
As a workaround, add -Dsun.font.layoutengine=icu into Help | Edit Custom VM Options and restart IDE.

Visual studio for mac not building

When I build my project in debug mode it builds forever. However there is no problem building in release mode.
This problem first occurred when I updated visual studio for mac to the newest version:
Preview 6 (7.0 build 2740).
This is what my debug settings look like:
Any ideas are much appreciated.
Check for xamarin.forms updates in both in the ios and xamarin project. It could be that theese are not updated even though the solution is updated.
Xamarin.forms package under the iOS project might have an older version
I cannot really help you because I don't know what type of project you tried to run or which OS X you are working with.
If such an Error occurs, always check your code or try restarting your mac.
Tip: "Visual Studio for Mac Preview" is still in its Alpha. Use the Stable Update channel to avoid errors like this.

Monogame and MonoDevelop missing IDE MacOSX

I tried installing monogame and monodevelop but after downloading and installing the required applications there is no Monogame IDE in my application folder.
What i did was the following:
Started on the monogame download page (http://www.monogame.net/downloads) and followed the corresponding links to download these files for OSX:
Xamarin Studio 4.0.12 installer
Mono + GTK# to which it linked me to the mono download page to which i download
The Runtime and SDK files for OSX Version 2.10.x
I installed each program in the corresponding order and continues the installation process by downloading the MonoGame installation V3.0.1 for Xamarin and MonoDevelop because i wasnt sure which one to get. But when I couldn't simply drag or click to install I looked in my application folder there was no Monogame IDE only the Xamarin Studio IDE which I presume is the correct process. But When I opened the Xamarin IDE it says that I've download the starter version and I cannot use Monogame.
Aside from the monogame website and various googling instructions, I've tried following these very clear instruction from this blog (http://mastrgamr.net/xna/programming-xna-on-mac/) but got stuck when I could find nor open my MonoGame and the Xamarian IDE displaying the correct screen.
I do not understand what I am doing wrong as the installation instructions seem very clear.

So i found out that Xamarian IDE replaced the MonoDeveloper IDE though the instructions I've found are using MonoDeveloper IDE as the example. I'm not sure if theres a significant difference but I presume there is a difference as I still can't seem to run monoGame and the outdated instructions aren't syncretic with my actions. Can anyone provide me with updated Xamarian instructions?
A little while ago Xamarin replaced MonoDevelop with Xamarin Studio. So MonoDevelop is now called Xamarin Studio and it looks and behaves a little different. That's why any tutorials talking about MonoDevelop are going to be a little confusing.
I've never tried to install Xamarin Studio on a Mac so I'm not sure what the error is about the starter version. However, I suspect it might be talking about the Xamarin licensing.
What I can tell you is, you won't be able to develop games with MonoGame on the starter edition if you are targeting platforms other than Windows (this includes Android, iOS and I presume Mac) due to the limited app size. You should consider buying a license from Xamarin if this is indeed your issue.

CodeBlocks quits unexpectedly on Mac OS

I have installed CodeBlocks on MacBook Air. I have XCode 4.6 and XCode Command Line Tools installed. But the problem is any time I try to open an existing project CodeBlock quits unexpectedly. If I create a new project CodeBlocks crushes the same way when I open any .cpp file of the project. Anyone knows how to solve the problem?
Ok, I solved it. If anyone have the same issue try disabling Code Completion plugin in CodeBlocks (Plugins -> Manage plugins, find 'Code completion' in the list, click 'Disable').

The CodeBlocks site says "Code::Blocks for Mac is currently not as stable as are other ports, especially on Mountain Lion. In other words, we could use an extra Mac developer (or two) to work on Mac compatibility issues."
It's likely that it will just crash.

aptana freezes when creating a project on Mac OSX Lion

I cannot use aptana on my mac pro 1.1 with OSX Lion. Aptana freezes when I try to create any project. Reinstalling didn't help.
Btw plugin for eclipse is working.
Does anyone have similar issue?
