When people print any page on my store I would like to include our company logo on the page.. Any way of accomplishing this? I am working with Magento 1.5.1 .
When I say "print" I mean CONTROL-P or File-Print.. If this is not possible, what are my options?
If your not referring to Magento's print option itself, you'll want to take a closer look at #media="print" CSS in order to control how a printed page (from the browsers print option) can be controlled.

I believe Magento has some print CSS you may want to take a look at to change out your logo.
/skin/frontend/default/default/images/logo_print.gif is the image your most likely looking to replace however.

I wanted to ask if there is a possibility to force Joomla to use full article image if intro image is empty (everywhere where image should be visible).
Is there a setting for this? Is it a feature of a template or Joomla engine itself? Right now I always have to specify both of this images, cause if I specify one only full article image Joomla does not display miniature in many places. If I specify the other one miniature is there but when I enter article it is missing.
I always end up having to specify the same image twice. Is there any way around this?
Thanks
UPDATE1:
I ended up overwriting the template for article to display $images->intro_image whenever $images->image_fulltext is not available.
This solves my problems yet one joomla user tells me she is sure that they were able to do that before without any modifications in the template. So now I'm just wondering if there is a setting for this in Joomla Admin so that it does not have to be forced in template code
It turned out that each element of my page except full article used intro_image. So what I did was to copy out the part responsible for showing article into the html folder of my template and just added a php code to use intro image instead of fulltext image (if it is present). You basically need to change $image->fulltext to $image->intro_image in the condition. But remember to keep the original condition as an elseif condition if you want to be able to still use full text image
I have Magento 1.7 installed, I have this theme called ves_gift, at the end of the Checkout (before clicking "checkout" actually) I have the terms of agreement:
The checkbox contains a link connected to the "privacy terms".
The point is that is a wrong/broken link, and I need to change its href, how do I fix it?
Also the word "Aaccetto" should be with one A only, not double. "Accetto" is the right word. Where is the translation file for that?
You need to find the template where the HTML contents of the checkbox. Then you can modify as per your wish.
Try installing Magento-Debug from magentocommerce, and find the template being used.
If you want to translate, then use the CSV file for translation in your theme, as per your language rather than hard-coding in Phtml files.
Remmeber : only Html strings echoed with $this->__('MYSAMPLETEXT'); can only be translated. So, in the CSV file you could do
MYSAMPLETEXT,MYTRANSLATEDTEXT
and then magento will translate the string for you, as simple as that.
file path:-
app\design\frontend\default\your-theme\template\checkout\onepage\agreements.phtml
if its work vote for me, and not let me know...

I am stuck working on a gallery, which uses 3 columns and 1 row multiplied alot of times to show a simple and clear gallery.
The problem comes when after publishing, the max-length of articles cut the content, but I can't find the config where I can change it.
This is problem with your template style(or gallery plugin/module gallery style), you have to edit your css file.
Best way is to check gallery with Firebug (mozzila add-in), make necessary changes and then overwrite default style.
Be careful with your updates, that do not overwrite your style.
It was a problem with MySQL.
I just changed "Text" value for "LongText" (on MySQL), so that way I can use a large amount of characters on the same script.
I have a custom attribute, that is a drop down option.
There are several options to chose from, approx 100
What I'm looking to do, is rather have a long list of these options in the layered navigation, is to possibly have them grouped by letter.
such as A-G, H-L etc
Is this possible to do? Has anyone done this before?
I'm using Magento v1.6.1
Thanks
You can do all this in your own layered navigation template code:
http://www.magentocommerce.com/boards/viewthread/5500/
Although that is a very old post, the code works fine in recent Magento versions. You'll have to roll your sleeves up and write your own loop to put things into your groups but the above approach should get you started.
I found it very hard to customize PDF invoice that Magento use. Not only hard to customize, but my client does not like it as well.
Is it possible to disable PDF invoice and use HTML invoice?
I googled it, but found nothing.
There are three real options here to get better invoices:
Write a better invoice system that
still uses PDFs. I've done this for
a client, it takes a long time. Unfortunately, there is no really good way to change the PDFs that Magento generates by default.
Replace the controller/action that
generate the PDFs with ones that
will simply output HTML.
Same as above, but override the
mass-action dropdown to contain your
new entries. This is probably the
easiest, and you can add more
reports while you're at it. Take a
look at
Mage_Adminhtml_Block_Sales_Order_Grid,
specifically _prepareMassaction
Hope that helps.
