firefox error console inside Web Developer - firefox

Is there a way to rename or remove a menu in Firefox. My Error Console is hidden under the Web Developer Menu and I want it to be under the Tools instead. Please see screengrab: http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/5720/firefoxpv.jpg
THank you.

You can try installing this plugin and see if it enables what you are trying to do.
Firefox Menu Editor

You can also install Toolbar Buttons and you'll have additional set of buttons that you can put in various places. Right click e.g. on 'Refresh' button, select 'customize' and here you go. Console is a red button with exclamation mark.

Select the target application does not appear in vscode

I use vscode a lot to write scripts for Adobe applications, and in recent days when I opened vscode, the button with the yellow inscription "Select the target application" that appears in the status bar at the bottom of the vscode window suddenly disappeared, and in its place another button appeared with the inscription "Eval in Adobe".
I tried to Google it, I tried to check in the plugin settings if there is a setting that causes this, and also I tried to install previous versions of the plugin, but to no avail.
Please enlighten my eyes and explain to me how to get it back.
I'm not sure if there is a way to get it back, but it should give you the same functionality as before.
The new 'Eval in Adobe' button, after clicking, should give a dropdown of all possible Adobe Apps that you can run your program in.
Alternatively you can go into the Debug panel and click 'Run and Debug'. Then select 'Extendscript' then 'Attach'. At that point it will give you the same Adobe App selection choice.
The button will change to orange and say 'Eval in Adobe (Program Name Here)'. You can then use it to immediately enter debug without having to reselect your target application.

Google Chrome dev tools automatically opens the 'drawer' pane

As of a few days ago, whenever I open the developer tools in Chrome on OSX the 'drawer' automatically opens - 2nd screen shot
The icon in blue shows/hides the drawer (now defaults to on) - First screen shot
This is so annoying and I cant figure out a way to stop this behaviour. It never did this before....
This was annoying me to no end and I could never figure out why it was automatically opening. Apparently the fix, at least in my case, is that I went into the Emulation tab inside of the drawer and disabled any of the overrides. Everything in blue is highlighted as an override. Disabling those seems to have fixed the problem for me.
Offering Phil Rykoff's comment as a solution...
Disabling JavaScript source maps seems to do the trick for me.
Settings > Enable JavaScript source maps
I was getting an error parsing my source maps so this could well be the cause for those with similar errors:
Failed to parse SourceMap: https://myapp/vendor.map
Found the solution press the "Escape" key when you're on the Developer Tools
There is also a setting under Appearance -> Show 'Emulation'/'Rendering' view in console drawer which will turn them off by default. But if you have some overrides then the panel still popup when you open Developer Tools.
In the DevTools, click the hamburger-icon.
Click 'Hide console'
Further to Ed's solution (which did fix my problem) the issue appears to be that the whatever page you are viewing is generating a console error- which in this case just happens to be a SourceMap error.
Because the default tab on the Dev Tools pane is "Elements" it appears that Chrome opens the console drawer so that the error message is visible when you reload. Rearranging the tabs in the Dev Tools so that console is the first item solves the issue, and I could re-enable SourceMap errors.

Debug->Exceptions option missing in VS2010

I want my code to break on exceptions and so usually in VS2010 I go to the dialog Debug->Exceptions... to enable this.
But on a new install of VS2010 Professional that option in the Debug menu is completely missing. Has anyone seen this before?
From here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/d14azbfh.aspx#addexceptionscommand
Do this:
To add the Exceptions command to the Debug menu
On the Tools menu, click Customize.
The Customize dialog box appears.
Click the Commands tab and, in the Menu bar list, click Debug.
Click Add Command.
In Categories in the Add Command dialog box, click Debug.
In Commands, click Exceptions and then click OK.
(Optional) You can click Move Down to adjust the position of the Exceptions command on the Debug menu.
Click Close.
Visual studio can be used with various languages and environments. Therefore, the basic IDE have different settings for each purpose (this is somewhat like Eclipse perspectives). Using a certain language profile does not mean VS cannot be used to develop another language, but some of the IDE's functionality might not be available. To solve this issue, the IDE's profile can be modified as described here.

How to view IOS documentation using Xcode?

Is there a shortcut i can use to display or search Obj-C API?
Say, i'd like to learn more about what IBAction does, i wonder if i can mouse over it and view documentation. Is there a way this can be enabled? A side bar possibly?
Please advise
Option-click a class name and a window will pop up with a description. Click the book icon and the help window will open to that class. Command click to view the h file.
Not that I know off, but you may see the source code at any time, and that has plenty of documentation on the comments.
Command + click on it, then click Show Quick Help
Also there's a keyboard shortcut for opening general documentation list.
Command + Shift +0 (Zero)
In Xcode 4, the Organizer window has a documentation section which can be accessed from the Right sidebar (Quick Help, which is part of the button group to enable the bottom bar (GDB by default) as well as the left sidebar (Class tree/etc) ) of the main Xcode window whenever you click on basically anything in the code (if its a custom method/variable it only tells you where it is defined). However, if it is something like IBAction it will pop up a brief definition as well as a link to open the previously mentioned organizer to the appropriate documentation page.
Within the Quick Help information, click Open in Developer Documentation to access Xcode documentation, which includes more thorough explanations and references to related functions.
You can also access Developer Documentation window from the Xcode Help menu.
Another option is by using the keyboard shortcut Command+Shift+0.

Visual Studio 2008, no longer see the Refresh item on right click

I used to be able to right click Folders in my project and click 'refresh' to refresh the files within them, I don't see the option to do this any more, how do I fix it? The same thing has happened at work and at home.. has it always been like this and have I gone insane?
I still have the option. You might be able to get it back by customizing the context menu. Refresh is under Commands > View in the Customize dialog.
The refresh icon is at the top of the solution explorer for me, does the job
