i developed a lawyer website and looking the below mentioned:
I have 5 categories and each category have 40 questions(in 4 pages with/without mandatory options).all the questions are managed by admin only and the questions have checkbox, dropdown, radio button and so on.
i searched for component in joomla 1.5,1.6,1.7 but i failed.no component can be found.any one help me to get rid of this problem.
Please Recommend any component.
Example:
Categories:
LLC (Limited Liability Company),
DBA/Business Names
Non-Profit
Partnership Agreements
Business Licenses
Bylaws & Resolutions
Certificate of Good Standing
Certified Copies
Compliance Calendar
Conversion
Corporate Minutes
Corporate Supplies
Entity Name Availability Check
Entity Name Reservation
These are the categories and each category have 40 questions in 10 pages. Each page have 4 questions.client(User) must answer these questions before make payment.i need to summary the answers typed by client(user).
Each category have different 40 questions.
please help me.am new to joomla.
Thanks in advance.
EDIT:
Multi-Form Submit with progressbar component for free.please recommend this.

I'm using ChronoForms 4 for simple questionnaire and it's very powerful, as not so user-friedly in admin configuration. The best feature is that you can customize every action on form showing and on form submitting. However I thik it's a bit hard to create a multipage form with this, but maybe in the forum some may answer, they reply very quicly.

Paypal donations with summary in Joomla

I'm working on a joomla site for a charity event. The event has 5 causes to donate for each with its own page. I have created paypal donation buttons for each of the five causes using this site: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_donate-intro-outside. That all works fine but I need to accomplish two more things. 1) How do I display a summary of the donations for each cause on its respective page and 2) How do I display a total donations received across all 5 causes on the home page?
I am currently going into the paypal account and updating these values manually every night. I know there has to be a better way. I think I have to do something with IPN but I can't find any good documentation. I'm not a php programmer so I need some hand holding but I can get through it with some help.
I have searched high and low for a Joomla extension to do this but I just can't seem to find anything that fits my situation. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
I don't think you'll be able to pull this off without some PHP programming and a good integration with Joomla.
As a general overview you will have to:
activate and configure IPN (Instant Payment Notifications) in PayPal
for your buttons configure the notify_url (the URL where PayPal should send the IPN)
on the Joomla site you will have to process those notifications and save into a database the transaction information that you get
finally - on each of your pages you will have to do a database look up and compute the totals that you require.
I have used Jumi (Joomla extension) to implement something similar to what you need, but it does require a lot of PHP programming to do it like this.

WordPress: What plugin(s) for job form tracking/management system?

Our construction consulting company currently uses an InfoPath/SharePoint job tracking/management system. We want to create a job form tracking platform for use on our site's WordPress backend, and I'm wondering what WordPress plugin(s) can offer this functionality.
All details regarding a job are entered into a form with various subsections, such as "Job Information" and "Architect Details." The platform needs to consist of two primary areas:
A form to enter relevant job details (preferably AJAX-based)
A directory to manage and track the jobs
Can someone point me in the direction of which plugins would be my best options?
To give you an idea of what we're looking for, our current system looks like this:
This could be accomplished with Contact Form 7, a very powerful and versatile AJAX-based contact form plugin, in conjunction with Contact Form DB which stores all contact form submissions in the database and basically allows you to view the database table that contains all the submissions.
Of course this isn't going to be very elegant if you don't have a developer to style it up (especially on the backend), but it will work functionally.
You could also look into integrating your form / contact form with a CRM like SalesForce, but again that will require some developer time.
Gravity Forms is pretty powerful to. But what #ennui states, probably some custom work.

Joomla membership for old articles

I would like my Joomla website to behave like this:
All users can view new articles
When new articles are published over sometime (say 1 week), they become
old articles. (This part can be done
manually, if there are no extension
for it.)
Then,
Normal users can only view the title of old articles. If they click them, they are asked to pay.
Paid users can view old articles.
All users can search against new and old articles. But as mentioned, only paid users can view old articles.
What kind of extensions do I need?
Thank you very much.
Updated:
I asked AEC (Account Expiration Control) support about my requirements. Here the reply I got:
AEC is not an Access Restriction
component but a Membership Manager
that happens to be good at telling
other components what they should do.
Many users extend the Joomla
usergroups with components like
FlexiAccess, JACL or JUGA. With
extended usergroups (and, in this
case, Access Levels), you can restrict
access to articles, categories and
menu entries. I would advise that the
best idea might be to check out the
ACL components - AEC can cater to
pretty much all of them so that it's
more of a question whether the ACL
components can do what you want to
achieve.
Also - archiving articles is
completely out of scope for AEC, so
you'd have to find out how to
accomplish this in your content
management.
Updated 2:
I think AEC might be the one I need.
You can do this by using Access Expiration Control. You will have to do the follwing :
Create plans for your users and handle the plans ( Free, Monthly, Life time .. etc ) , the payment and the access control.
Create menu item for the archived articles.
Use ACE to make accessing this part of the site restricted to payed members.
Profit $$$
This is how I see how it could be done ... I've used on many sites but not for archived contents so I would recommend you contact the developers at their site and ask them about your case.

Constructing membership site with joomla

Hi i run Joomla site on htpp://www.deeptechtons.net and wanted to construct a membership based subscription where people pay to get premium articles.
Exactly the same as tutsplus site network.[ i think it is custom but some solution must be available for joomla]. I already looked into extensions directory nothing fits my purpose.
Some requirements i need are,
1.Custom Profile fields for members.
2.Any time un-subscribe from plan.
3.Simple interface to show plans available
4.Payment processor's support
Also how do i hide the articles for premium members from not showing in search results, both joomla and google.
Joomla has teensy, weensy setting that hides un categorized articles in search plugin.
If you are running your website on Joomla 1.5 then PayPlans might be the better choice. It blends very well with JomSocial and your design. And yes, its very much customizable.
If you want to use 1.5, then Joomla 1.5 + JomSocial + AEC. I would also use K2 for the content because it would make filling your request about keeping content out of Google trivial. I wrote an upgrade to the K2 content display module that would allow you to leave all of your content as public and only display the intro text to non-registered users. Then you display the member content in a module that only displays to registered users. Very easy to maintain and implement.

Drupal 6 sign-up booking, reservation system with payments

I have tried to find out the working solution for implementing simple events booking system in Drupal 6 (limited places, payment, signing up/buying few places for friends).
System does not have to be big but easy to customize events to reserve/book places for.
I was surprised there are no complete solutions.
Most of the time I was directed to use modules like:
Date, Calendar, Signup, Ubercart, Signup Integration for Ubercart.
Has anybody of you tested it? Is it working and customizable or you would suggest other alternatives on the subject?
Will appreciate any recommendations.
Sounds like you might be looking for the Conference Organizing Install Profile, which isn't quite together for Drupal 6 yet, but should be in the next month, as the maintainer is presenting on it in late June. Until then, most of the components are available as drop-in features with the COD support module.
You might also be interested in MERCI, which is all about "equipment" reservations, though the equipment could easily be seats in an event.
