I use this to show image and title, but since a few weeks it's not working any more. I can't find why. I read the developer site again, but nothing changed.
Looks fine to me, the debug tool output for your page shows you're missing the necessary meta tags but Facebook's made a guess at the title, etc and it seems OK to me.
When i share that URL the title and description load fine. The only image URL Facebook detected is a 404 error so maybe that's what your problem is, was it displaying OK on Facebook before you removed the image?

I've had this problem in the past where FB scrapes the wrong data, but changing the thumbnail image name has always fixed the problem. However, today I'm unable to get the same result. The error is this:

I've cleared my browser cache, renamed the image, inserted code at the top of the blog post with the image link, and scraped a dozen times in the debugger. My company uses Placester for our web platform (if that means anything to anyone), so I don't have quite as much freedom as with other sites. Can anyone help me with this, but put it in layman's terms?
When I try to share an article page on Google+ by putting its URL into the post, a preview is displayed with article's title, description and image. The problem is that the showed text is not UTF-8 and does not mean anything - Here is an example of what the post preview displays as an article's decription:
zveřejnà výsledky vyšetřovánà aféry
Try it for yourself - visit this page and try to share it on Google+: https://roklen24.cz/a/pzbmw/kdo-opravdu-stoji-za-burzovnimi-krachy-vinte-pocitace
Facebook sharing works fine, only Google+ is having this issue. It is not just one or two characters problem, each character with punctuation is behaving like that - it's mostly replaced by a character A with different punctuiation - here is an example:
ORIGINAL string: zveřejněné výsledky vyšetřování aféry
DISPLAYED string: zveřejnà výsledky vyšetřovánà aféry
Could You tell what might be causing this problem? Thanks
I think this issue was a bug on the Google side because it used to be working before.
I got the same problem as you said too but it seems to be fixed just few minutes ago.
Now??
10Hr before
i've had my personal site running on jekyll for a long while, but i recently noticed my photography page no longer renders live. i got a new laptop not too long ago and re-installed jekyll, so i suspect it has something to do with jekyll versions/some updated syntax i'm now using incorrectly, as it was working fine before that.
the photo page is setup to display previews of all the posts in the 'photo' category, and the user can then click through to get the full story. looking at the rendered source code and inspecting the elements, this category function is not rendering at all, and no content besides the header & footer is being displayed.
i've been trying to figure out the issue all morning, any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you!
This post has the same permalink (/photo) as your page.
Suppressing the post makes it work.
Another way is to have a page photo.html (like your journal.html). You can have /photo.html for your category and /photo for your post.
hi i uploaded some pictures to my wordpress site the wierd thing is that its uploaded correctly the pictures are showing inside the post but outside the post i get an broken image pictogram. can anyone help me with this problem ?

something is wrong with timthumb.php:
If you open the Image in a Browser, you will see what it actually returns: http://www.telefoonhandleiding.com/wp-content/themes/liomagazine/scripts/timthumb.php?src=http://www.telefoonhandleiding.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Samsung-Galaxy-Ace-Handleiding-telefoon.jpg&w=200&h=150&zc=1
do you mean that the pictures aren't showing up in the blog excerpt page? or they aren't showing in your wordpress media section? or where? If it's in the blog excerpt page it would definitley be something with your theme that your using.
If you follow this link to one of the pages on my site and you scroll to the bottom you'll see that there's supposed to be 2 images in the bottom of the post. For some reason they're not displaying?
If you view source and then copy and paste the URL of the images directly in your browser it loads fine. Is there something I'm missing here? Must be wordpress related though I'm sure..
Thanks for any replies!
PS - I'm still working on that page, I know it looks a bit crappy at this stage.
You're talking about the Adobe icons? You need to prefix their URLs with http:// so they are fully-qualified.
