I created test buyer and test seller account from the paypal sandbox account.
but whenever I try to buy something from my test seller account paypal doesn't verify account and give error stating "Please make sure you have entered your email address correctly."
Is there anything to do apart from creating test buyer account.
I'm using codeigniter's Paypal_Lib.
Don't know about the codeigniter lib, but:
The test-buyer must be "logged in" to the sandbox-system.
- Log into sandbox, select test-buyer, and click [Enter Sandbod Test Site] - login. STAY
- use the same browser (cookie) to test-buy (I use [Ctrl]n to open a new window)
The test-seller must be the receiver in the buy-form.
The paypal-server in the form must be:
www.sandbox.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr
instead of
www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr
Not super-obvious, but it DOES work, eventually : )
- one of those times when you actually need to read the manual (user-guide)
Depending on what you are doing, the test-users may also need to be verified / busines-accounts..
Solved this, It was my mistake I did not set $this->paypal_url in library, now its working fine.

I am the web developer for a company who need to upgrade to v3 of mysagepay to continue trading.
However, the only username that I have been given, does not appear to give me admin rights in the control panel. I need to add the IP address of our shopping cart provider to allow it to continue to work after the end of the july.
My guess is that there is another username , which is the full admin rights one..
The one I have is payments, which allows you to view orders etc, but not access most of the settings.
Is there a standard username for the admin account on a given vendor name? I've tried 'retrieve username' using various emails of the company, but they only return the payments username, which isn't apparently an admin user.
I've filled out a couple of forms for online support but as yet have had no useful responses, and time is running out.
Can any one advise as to whether there is a standard username that gives full access rights (admin?) or whether there is a way of telling what the admin user is.
Many Thanks - pulling my hair out here.
Gavin
Call Sage Pay. They can add the IP for you, and/or probably sort out an admin user account. You'll probably need your Merchant number in order to prove you have something to do with that vendor account - you can get this from the authorisation details screen when viewing one of the payments that you have. Number is 0845 111 4455 - I recommend calling out of core business hours as they are pretty busy then (but phones are manned 24/7)
i have searched a lot but only got following login url for sagepay test account.
https://test.sagepay.com/mysagepay/login.msp
Can any one please help me from where i can create account to log in at above screen.
I have already created simulator account at

To use this test sagepay login you need a normal sagepay payment gateway / merchant account or have a MySagePay account. This test URL is given to clients who have access to the live side for their day to day transactions.
If you have an account with Sage you can get them to set up the test environment for you.

I was just wondering if anybody knows how to test magento's payment options.
I have got a few questions.
Do I need to change any code within any of the pages?
Do I need to make any changes to the admin settings ?
Is there a simple setting to test these payment methods out?
Is there only certain payment methods that you can actually check?
No you dont need to change any code. Its all handled from backend.
Generally for development purpose we use Cash on delivery or Check/Money Order payment method.
So you just need to enable these method from backend.
For Testing Credit Cards enable 'Saved CC' Payment Method and during checkout use test credit card type VISA, card number 4111111111111111 with any date of future for Expiration Date and any cvv number
Additionally for proper payment gateway integration You will need to purchase payment gateway which will provide Magento Module along with it. This Payment Method will have 2 modes test and live that are configurable from banckend. So with test mode you can continue development and testing.
Similarly with Paypal. Yo can setup Sandbox test account. Module is already there.
If you want to use Express Checkout:
Go to developer.paypal.com and log in using your PayPal account (it doesn't matter if the acount is empty or not).
Click on the menu item on the top dashboard and then select Accounts from the sidebar.
There, you will find 2 test accounts already set for you. You can modify the existing acounts or create new ones.
This post may help you.
Yes you can test on local host with setup sendbox account.
You can create a 99% discount coupon.
PS: From my experience, that's the standard to test live websites. The sandbox payment only works on staging/dev sites, as it puts the entire website on dev mode.
Our windows store application is especially for our customers.
It requires user credential to login.
It doesn't have any sign up page.
New users cannot access our application(They should be our customer.)
For new users, Admin will create an account and share them to the
user.
At the first time, user is requested to change password.
This is how our customer access our application
We submitted our free business app to the windows store.
But it is rejected with the reason saying "Apps that require users to sign in must either specify upfront in app description the type of access user must have and how to get it or provide a mechanism for new users to sign up for services from within the app. At a minimum this could be a link in the app to the website where the user can create a new account and sign up for services. Your app did not appear to provide this information to the user."
We do not have such a page. How can we proceed for resubmission?
Whether we need to provide description like "Our application can be accessible to our customers only"
or
provide support email address and saying like "Contact our support team/admin to create new account"
or
any suggestions?
Simply show a description which tells user that this app is only for registered customers. For more details you can write us to your email id or can fully describe the log in process there on the first page.
The description says it all. Include exactly what you have said in the application's description update. In addition include this information on the main page of your application for extra safety.
Note how DropBox has done it. When you install the app your very first screen has the login boxes and a link to "or Create an Account" which then brings you to a webpage to create the account.
You could link this to a page on your site that allows a user to contact your org for an account or register for one to then be approved, etc
So, recently PayPal switched from sandbox.paypal to developer.paypal interface. It is still in beta mode, so it's not working perfectly, and on the other hand sandbox is practically disabled, you can not register nor login with old credentials.
So, when trying to make a test system in Magento, I create one seller account and one buyer account in new developer.paypal interface, but when I try to make a purchase it keeps showing me the wrong login/pass error (I enter the seller account e-mail and password).
Before all this I remember I had to be logged in the sandbox.paypal with my main sandbox account for this to work, but now login to sandbox is not possible any more, and login to developer doesn't help.
Anyone had similar issues? I tried anywhere to find any clue for solution, but no luck, and I don't waiting for PayPal to complete their test environment is an option.
I haven't had the same issue however have you imported your old accounts? That way you can use the same test email addresses and passwords as before.
Log into https://developer.paypal.com
Click Applications
Click Sandbox accounts
Click "Import data"
Enter your email address and password for the old developer account.
All settings for the prior accounts should be imported as well. Sandbox.paypal.com is still accessible too, you do need to be logged into your developer account to access it which is the same condition as before.
If you continue receiving a password error trying resetting the password to the accounts by following the steps below:
Log into https://developer.paypal.com
Click Applications
Click Sandbox accounts
Expand the account in question
Click "Profile"
Click "Change Password"
Lastly, you'll also want to delete all developer.paypal.com cookies and cache before using the beta environment. If you do not, you'll see the error message below:
"This Sandbox email address is not available. Please enter another email address."
Let me know if you continue to receive errors.
