but i can't find submit button or link on http://extensions.joomla.org for submit the extension.
please help me.
First you must create an account on the Joomla Extensions Directory (and log in).
Then, find the category that you think the extension should belong to (for example "Fake Registered Users" would belong to the "Fake Data" category)
On this page you will see a button saying "submit extension" (as long as you are logged in)
Follow the instructions and once submitted, it will usually take about 3 weeks, depending on the amount of other extensions submitted, to be approved.

Your menu item should not have access to only special members if you are submitting content as registered member. In short, you should maintain the access level of the page.

To change the redirection when submitting an article I found it useful to do the following:
Associate the form that enables you to create an article from the frontend to a menu, and then edit the corresponding element of the menu, on the options tab, select the redirection after submission category to where you want it to redirect and that's it. Hope it helps anyone!
I need to pull in the product name and display it at the top of the send to a friend page template.
So, when a user clicks on send to a friend from a product page it (the product name) is at the top of the send to a friend page, above the form itself. Not in the email template (although that is useful - I have seen answers on this elsewhere).
I am very new to Magento and have been asked to do a few modifications and tidy up a few things, but am really a front end dev and have no Magento experience. Any pointers in the right direction would be great help to me.
Also, could anyone recommend a decent Magento Developer book that a Front End Developer with good HTML, CSS & JavaScript (but not so great PHP) would find useful?
Copy the sendfriend template in app/design/frontend/base/default/template/sendfriend/send.phtml
to your theme. Then you can modify it. You shouldn't modify magento core files.
You can print the product name wih echo Mage::registry('product')->getName(); The product is added to the registry in Mage_Sendfriend_ProductController.

In the components menu in the admin go to contacts.
Create a new contact and fill in the information.
You can use street address for text if you want, that is at the top or you can use miscellaneous information.
Make sure to include an email address or a link to a user so that the user's email is used.
Then make a single contact menu link to that contact from whatever menu you want it shown on.
You can either use a component for this from the Joomla! Extensions Directory. Else you can build one yourself using basic html markup.
My client has ecommerce store on Volusion and he is getting so many fake orders and now I want to add CAPTCHA before user login on shoppincart.asp page or one-page-checkout.asp page (before place order button).

I already contacted Volusion support and they don't have any specific answer about this problem and just suggesting to take their serivce or get this done by their partner.

It is easy to use... You can find out the code how to put it. You just have to get one Public Key & Private Key for specific domain.
It's under the design menu in the admin panel, Hover over design, then click on articles.
Once on articles change display mode to list, and find one-page-checkout.asp and shoppingcart.asp click edit and add your code.

I'm having e-commerce store built in magento. As by marketing point of view we planned to create a landing page which contains all registration fields and we'll run a separate adcampaign only for that to collect user's info.
I don't have any idea to do this.

Not exactly what you asked for but If you need to get users to login/register on your site right away when they visit, you could use this lovely extension.
