how to check log into window phone 7.? - windows-phone-7

Hello I am working windows phone 7 and my application is working perfectly fine into the emulator, but once I start my application into the device it will crashing so how I track the error log into my device.?
how I can check error stack into my device.?

Have a look at LittleWatson. It allows you to get exception information emailed to you from a real device.
It's easy to modify to add extra logging information if you need it to.

Creating Crash Log for Windows Phone 8.1

I am working on Windows phone 8.1 app, I need to log all the exception and some information to a file and also console at the same time.
1.How can I do that?
2.Is there any third party for that?
I need to send that log file when ever the app crashes.
You could use HockeyApp. It stores crash report and sends it to the server next time user start the application. It completely free (Microsoft has acquired HockeyApp) and provides SDK for Window Phone / Windows Store platform.

Pebble.js WatchApp displays: "Disconnected - run the pebble phone app"

I can't find much documentation around this issue. All other running apps on my pebble have a connection to my phone, and work as expected. However, a Pebble.js application I'm currently working on simply displays Disconnected - run the pebble phone app.
I have noticed that in my Developer Settings that the Connection Manager is listed as Disconnected. Is this part of the problem? I see nothing in the logs.
For reference, the application is doing a simple ajax request and displaying the result.
This message is often caused by the JavaScript crashing on the phone (undefined reference, unknown function, etc) and so the watch thinks it is not running.
Some ideas to debug this:
Replace your code with one very simple console.log("hello world") statement and see if this works.
Look at the Logs (View Logs button in CloudPebble or pebble logs on the command line).
Very rarely, on Android, I have seen situation where the Pebble app is in a bad state where it cannot execute the JS for only one app. When this happens, you need to force-kill the Pebble app and relaunch it.
I have had the same experience.
I usually kill and restart the pebble app on my phone and then I also do refresh the browser. Sometimes you have to log out of and then log back into Cloudpebble.

GPS based application not running under lock screen in windows phone

I have developed a windows phone application and it works fine when it is open and running actively.
It tracks the user movements on the map and shows the position moves with push pins.
Now I want to ensure that the same application runs even the phone is locked when this app was open.
I have added the below code for it to work under lock screen. After this when I verified the app I realized it is not running when the application is locked.
Is there any other change I need to make to get this work under lock screen.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
private void initiliazesettings()
{
PhoneApplicationService.Current.UserIdleDetectionMode =
IdleDetectionMode.Disabled;
}
To have your app running under lock screen on Windows Phone 7.0/7.1/8.0, you need to set ApplicationIdleDetectionMode, not UserIdleDetectionMode. See details here.
Supossing you placed the method in the right place, that code only keeps the screen on, but doesn't make your app run in background when the lock screen is activated. Windows Phone 7 apps cannot run in background, they get tombstoned.
For Windows Phone 8 this is possible - see the sample here from MSDN.
However for Windows Phone 7/7.1 you can't do this.
You can prevent the screen from locking due to the user not interacting with it (as your code shows). However if you manually lock the screen the app will still be made dormant or tombstoned and your location code won't run.
Your only other option is to use a scheduled background task to read the location of the phone, but bear in mind that this is far from real time data (it is a cached location and you only run once every 30 minutes in the best case scenario).

I cannot deploy my app on my phone

I've started yesterday afternoon studying WP7, so be patient.
I've just created my first test app, registered as developer on AppHub, connected my phone with Zune, registered my phone in my AppHub profile (I can see it in my devices section) and compiled my app.
When I try to transfer my app into phone (using Application Deployment Tool as described here) I get an error that can be traslated as
Unable to connect to device because it's locked by pin
But my device has not any pin (or I don't know to have one) and it doesn't show anything on screen.
What could/should I do?
UPDATE:
Zune is running: if I try I get the error
I close Zune and run WPConnect: my device is connected but the error is the same
When deploying the app, make sure the phone screen is unlocked.
Additinal info: If you are developing from Desktop PC, sometimes connecting from front USB panel wont work.
You can't deploy while the screen lock is active, so try swiping up the lock screen before deploying.

Implementing error logging in windows phone 7 app? [duplicate]

I don't have a WP7 device yet. Everything is functional in My App on a Simulator, but when my customer test it, app does not function at all. e.g. VDO is not playing.
Is there a way to get a crash log from Windows Phone 7? (like iPhone).
You can easily create your own crash report. Basically this is what you have to do:
In your App class add an handler for the UnhandledException event
inside the handler prepare a log with everything you need (stacktrace, memory allocated, etc.)
use an email composer Task to send the report.
You can also check BugSense which is a cross-platform(iPhone,Android and Windows Phone) tool that collects and analyzes crash reports from mobile apps.
Disclaimer: I have developed the WP7 plugin.
