Can any one tell me the module used here..in this site on the right sidebar.
On hover it expands and floats as we scroll the page down.http://www.annualreport2011.wartsila.com/
I want to use with my joomla template. I searched but no luck..

It's not a Joomla! website it's a Crasmanager CMS website.

You can try this module http://www.marcofolio.net/joomla/mfslidebar_sliding_sidebar_for_joomla_modules.html , Although i have not used this. You can also check a module from all these http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/style-a-design/modules-panel/page2.There is no module found you can do this by jquery collapse menu or div.

How to attach ItemID to joomla footermenu

I am don't know joomla, but familiar with wordpress & PHP & wants to change some links in my clients existing project.
I have a menu which is a link like http://www.smarti.com.sa/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=6&Itemid=107 while calling it from top navigation menu.
developer has taken same link in footer but it redirects to
http://www.smarti.com.sa/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=6
Now i want ItemID in footer link also.
My Site URL is http://www.smarti.com.sa/
In that please Products > Microsoft.
Please give solution
As per your post, Your menu link for now is : http://www.smarti.com.sa/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=6 .
But, you want to use this like : http://www.smarti.com.sa/index.php/your_menu_name.
You can use aliases of menu links.
You can find aliases here, When you create/edit a menu link from backend of joomla you can see an alias associated with it. You can also find Aliases of menu link from grid screen of you menu type.
For showing Menu in front end you have to create CUSTOM HTML module, You can find how to create Custom HTML module here : http://vinaora.com/2012/09/how-to-add-custom-html-to-your-joomla-site-2/
Now, How can you find HTML to write in thst Custom HTML Module? So, for this you can go the page of front-end where that menu is visible. Now prss CTRL+U, you will see the HTML of that page. Here, you have to find the HTML of those menus.
In this HTML, you will find the links like : index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=6
Now, you have to replace these links with index.php/alias_of_your_menu.
Now paste the edited HTML in Custom HTML module and save it by selecting a proper Position.
You can use joomla menu module in the footer.
Joomla also has the option to display second level menu items in a menu module.
To do this:
Set the Start Level to "1" and the End Level to "1".
That's all. Good Luck.

How to show the plugins in the page in joomla

I have installed the plugin simple image gallery module in joomla. But i cannot figure out how to show the plugin in the site page, as menu item. Anyone could help me?
Thank you.
Try this,
If that is module then:
create an article,
also create a menu and assign that article to the menu system,
then inside your article content load the module with their position like this:
{loadposition your_mod_psoition}
where "your_mod_position" is the module position. Make sure you have content load plugin enabled.
For more information check last section of this article.
If it's Plugin it may have short code for embedding to the page, so you can use that inside your article.
Hope its helps..
First of all, what Plugin are you exactly using? There are a view called simple image gallery. Please add a link.
To show the gallery I suppose the plugin has some kind of syntax to do that. In most cases you can find the syntax you have to use in the plugin manager. Backend: Extensions > Plugin Manager.
Then pick a article that you can see in the frontend and put the syntax in there according to the syntax of the plugin.

Why my top menu dissappear when in register or reset page in joomla 2.5

I have created a custom joomla template based on blank joomla template from http://blank.vc/. Everything was fine until i clicked either forgot password?, forgot your username? or create account link that bring me to register or reset page in frontend but strangely the top menu was gone.
This is the screenshot :
http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h145/affan2fly/menugone.jpg
i have no idea why this could happenned.
Please help with this. I appreciate all the help. Thanks!
The problem is because only on the pages selected option for module assignment is set. If you open a page which doesn't belong to any menu, then module won't be shown on it.
You can either check menu module to be shown on all pages, or make a new menu item for forgot password functionality, and then assign that menu for both menu module, and breadcrumbs module.
I don't know which Joomla version you're using and what you use for translation, but if you use Joomfish or Falang, language translation should be much easier.
If you don't use any of those, and you really need to leave everything as it is, then you can also detect current user language in the template, and load either one or the other menu module based on it. That way you can set module to be shown on all pages, and make sure it is displayed only for the choosen language.

How to customize the layout of login page in joomla

Just want change the layout of the login page same as other pages, I want to remove the left sidebar bar and show the main menu, few images and text. You can see the current layout.
Visit http://www.egovtsolutions.net/index.php/component/users/?view=login
You can make the menu module display on all pages rather than on selected pages...then the menu will be displayed on all pages.
You have to choose display option from that module. If you want to enable some modules in that position just check the menus names from that module.
If you don't want any module in login page just unselect all modules from that page. Then only you have better look for login prompt as your wish.
Try this....
I dont know which version of joomla are you working on. But this link covers from joomla 1.5 to 1.7.
You should try to give the "extra2" or "position-29" to your log in module.
The key is just the position you are assigning.

How to have custom sidebar content per article in Joomla?

I'm in the process of porting an existing website to Joomla. Most pages of this website consist of a main content area and a sidebar containing additional items relating to the main content, such as (in-page) links, images, additional information, etc.
In Joomla, the main page content would probably be an article, but I'm not sure what would be the best way to create the sidebar content in Joomla.
Examples of pages-with-sidebar:
http://www.aikikan.nl/en_watisaikido
http://www.aikikan.nl/dojo?id=2
I'm creating a custom template for this website, so any solutions that require modifying the template are fine as well. What would be the best way to set this up?
Keep the content of each sidebar in an article and then assign it to a module by means of the article-as-module extension. You can then control the scope for each module (i.e. choose menu postions for which it will be shown) in the admin interface.
There is an extension called meta mod which is perfect for this sort of thing. It allows you to show modules based on any condition you can evaluate with PHP
