Azure: Caching tab is not visible - visual-studio-2010

Maybe my question is a bit stupid, but :)
I installed Azure SDK 1.7 (June 2012). And there is no caching tab in web role properties. What should I do to enable caching tab?
*I'm using VS 2010.

Did you open a v1.6-based project? If so, that would explain it: You'll only see this with a project where v1.7 is specified. Look in the role selection dialog, when creating a new project, in the top-left corner:
If you change this to Windows Azure Tools - November 2011, the option for Cache Worker Role disappears, as does the Cache tab on all roles.

VS 2019 - SSAS Tabular model explorer missing or greyed out

I searched many times, but there was no answer from MSFT or any other communities for this issue.
I have the Community edition 2019. Tabular model explorer is greyed out in the View->Toolbar->Other windows. I have no luck with VS 2017 EE as well, the same problem there too.
I could able to use the Import Datasource button on the Model menu and pull the source tables for building, however, Tabular model explorer and the data source folders are missing or not being able to use from a project perspective. Since the tabular model explorer is missing, I couldn't able to use the data transform window for each table and thus literally making a stop on development.
This is really annoying.

[SSAS Tabular Explorer Window greyed out]1
In your screenshot, Model.bim does not appear to be open. You have to open it for Tabular Model Explorer to show up. Double click Model.bim in Solution Explorer.
Other issues that I don't believe apply to you, but may to others:
The Compatibility Level of the model must be at least 1400. Check by selecting Model.bim in Solution Explorer and then look in the Properties Window.
You also must have the Analysis Services extension installed. Search on "SSDT" for current installation steps.
If you left click on the Model.bim File in solution explorer and look at the properties window you should see Compatibility Level is 1103 or less. You will need to upgrade to a newer compatibility level to use Tabular Model Explorer. What version is your SSAS Server? You can upgrade to that level or lower.
You are probably using compatibility level 1400, in which you have to click on the Design button instead - see this Microsoft reply.
You need to install the Analysis services tabular projects extension from the Marketplace. Post that you should be able to see the tabular model explorer
I have 1400 compatibility level and still the tabular explorer didn't show up, it was greyed, it's some kind of bug, you can solve it by simply double clicking again on the model and opening it.

Default ASP.NET Core MVC project won't run

I created a new ASP.NET Core MVC project with Visual Studio 2019, using the built in default template. I simply ran the project by clicking the green 'play' arrow where it says "IIS Express" (or by pressing F5). I haven't modified anything, yet when my browser opens up (in this case, Microsoft Edge) I get this:
Can’t connect securely to this page
This might be because the site uses outdated or unsafe TLS security settings. If this keeps happening, try contacting the website’s owner.
Your TLS security settings aren’t set to the defaults, which could also be causing this error.
I've opened a 'ticket' with Microsoft, but haven't heard anything yet. It may be that there is an issue with my IIS Express installation, but I'm not sure how to figure that out. I normally prefer to run my ASP.NET MVC local development from my local IIS, but it seems that IIS Express is the default way for Core MVC.
I modified my install of Visual Studio 2019 by removing all the web (ASP.NET) components, and then modified it again by adding them. After this, the default ASP.NET Core project does indeed work and debug with IIS Express.
I don't know how my install became corrupted, but it must have been from one of the numerous Visual Studio updates that seem to be released every few days.

Visual Studio 2013 Web Settings

I have a Project, that I need to run on local IIS. When I set web server's type and url in web section of Project properties, those settings are automatically written in Project file. How do I prevent this kind of behaviour and save those settings only for my local environment? There is no "Save settings for all users" checkbox or anything simmilar like in VS 2012.
This option was removed from Visual Studio 2013. From this Microsoft Connect page:
Thank you for bringing up this issue. Unfortunately, this functionality was lost when the web project properties page was refactored. We are working to get this feature back into the product.
For now, if you have a project with this setting unchecked in VS 2012, and open it in VS 2013 it will respect your individual user settings until the first time that the servers section is modified on the web project properties page.

Can't profile an Azure worker role

I'm trying to use Visual Studio 2010 Premium's built-in profiling for Azure and am having trouble. What I'm doing seems to follow tutorials but my "Enable Profiling" checkbox is grayed out. I'm using Windows Azure Tools 1.8 (Oct 2012) and VS2010 Premium running on Windows 8 x64 as Admin. I also have RDP enabled. My understanding is that I've satisfied all of the requirements for profiling.
The only way I know to manage these profiles is to right-click on my Cloud project (the one with .csdef and .cscfg files), click "Publish...", and work with the settings in there. Under the "Advanced" tab, the "Enable Profiling" checkbox is grayed out, so I can't even get to the Profiling settings link.
Any idea what the deal is?
I've given up on this for now and am just using dotTrace for remote profiling. I outlined the steps to get this working here on this other SO question. If somebody has an answer specific to the original question, I'm still very interested in that and will gladly transfer the selected answer to that if you post it. Until then, this solution works well enough for me...

How can i disable the Team project mode in Microsoft Visual Studio?

I installed Microsoft Visual Studio and during installation i think i somehow ticked the Team Project checkbox. Now i'm unable to create a normal ASP.NET website in any way. I would be very grateful if someone tells how to fix this thing. Also i have uninstalled and installed seven times. But no luck. Thank you.
If I have understood You right. You try to change default templates in IDE for Web developers.
In Visual studio you can easily change the profile of the IDE by going to Tools -> Import Export Settings. This brings up Import Export Windows Wizard. Follow the simple Wizard (which also allows to save you the current settings for future use) and select the new profile setting (based on the kind of project you are working on) and you are ready to work with new profile.
I assume You need to choose "Web development".
