Magento include mobile number field in registration form - magento

Did anyone know how to call Phone Numnber field in registration form, like the one in check out page is having.
Please give me your suggestonions to do this?
Thanks

Your best plan would be to relabel the "Fax Number" with "Mobile Number" (Unless you really need the fax number also.
This can be changed via the csv templates found in app/locale//
Personally I would just grep for the word "Fax" and go from there.

Confirmation of the creation of a record via email in apex Oracle

I have this situation: I have a filling form, there I enter the details of sealing the object, I want to add an interesting function to the form, I want to send an e-mail in order to support the sealing permissions.
For example, I want to seal the doors, in the form I enter the email and press the send button, I receive a normer, which I must enter in the next field in the form, if the number is correct, I see the "create" button, if not, then the "Create" button does not visible
Has anyone already encountered this?
To show (or not) certain items or buttons you can use
conditions
dynamic actions (Show)
In your case, dynamic action might be a better choice.
The part which is related to "if the number is correct" is handled by validation.
If you want to send an email, simplest way is to use APEX_MAIL. https://docs.oracle.com/en/database/oracle/application-express/19.1/aeapi/APEX_MAIL.html#GUID-14F51C6D-CB82-4B38-AB6E-61C46E75596F
For some other options, have a look here: https://jeffkemponoracle.com/2016/04/email-made-easier/
If you want to send an SMS, there is no built-in support for this. You would need to send requests via an SMS gateway. By way of example, an API for integrating with one gateway (ClickSend) which might help you is: https://jeffkemponoracle.com/2016/08/send-sms-mms-and-voice-messages-from-oracle-plsql/

What code should I add (and where) on my website to track events/identify users on my website using segment.com?

I want to configure segment.com properly on my site and use it to manage all other apps/tools. I already installed the segment javascript on my site and used it as the source. Now, I am pushing these to MixPanel, Facebook, Google Analytics, etc.
What code should I add if I want to track an event and/or identify a user?
For simplicity's sake, i have a landing page (site.com/landing-page) with a form. After a successful submission, it redirects to a thank you page (site.com/thank-you-page).
The default settings already track the page views, and are pushing that same event to the different tools (FB: PageView, MixPanel: Loaded a Page, etc).
But in this case, i want to track the event and capture the person's information. And i don't know what to code to add and where.
My research so far
According to this article:
The best way to track new users is in client-side javascript on the welcome page after they signup, below we’ll explain why.
So, based on that, I add the code to my thank you page. But where? Header like adding GA scripts? body tag? I can add it anywhere, but i don't know where.
Next is what code should I add?
The example from the same article above:
When a new visitor goes to their site that visitor is anonymous. As soon as the visitor connects their Facebook account, Rdio knows who they are and creates a user record.
As part of that new user record the person is assigned a userId. Let’s say the new userId is 12345. Rdio will then need to fire the following calls on the welcome page:
analytics.identify('12345',{ name:'Jake Peterson', email:'friends#segment.com'});
analytics.track('Account Created',{ authentication:'Facebook'})
This gives me two problems: track and identify.
Track Problem
I'll start with the track. Based on how I understood this, assuming the event name i want to be added is "Downloaded PDF" then I want to store the title of it as well. It should look like this, right?
<script>
analytics.track('Downloaded PDF', {
title: 'Awesome Title'
});
</script>
Am I correct to enclose them inside <script> tags?
The tracking of an event seems a bit easier to understand that the identify part. But would love to know if i got that part right.
Identify Problem
Here, i have two questions:
where does userId come from? Is it automatically generated? For example, inside my MixPanel account, i see them. Is that what i use?
How do i reference to the userId? or any of the other traits I want to track in my code?
Taking from the same example above:
analytics.identify('12345',{ name:'Jake Peterson', email:'friends#segment.com'});
If i add this exact code on my thank you page, every signup will be assigned those values: '12345', 'Jake Peterson', and 'friends#segment.com', right?
What code should I add to (1) assign them the right userId (2) and get the name and email traits from the form of the previous page.
Let's say i'm only collecting first name and email.
analytics.identify("userId"{ firstName:"firstName", email:"email"});
If I add this code to my thank you page, will it automatically assign the userId, firstName, email values of the form that was submitted? That's the part I don't understand. What code to add to dynamically push the correct data.
And i know i'm not even adding the Alias part for MixPanel yet, but i just want to understand this part and the rest (hopefully) will be easier to understand.

Adding Extra fields on Joomla Registration Form

How to add extra fields in Joomla2.5 registration form? I am using profile plugin but i also want to change the order of the fields. Any Suggestion?
Copy the profile plugin and change it to do what you want, then install it and unpublish the old one.
You can add additional fields to the registration form by changing the database and a core component file.
First of all take a look of components\com_users\models\forms directory and there is a XML file called registration.xml. This is the file joomla creates the registration form fields. I hope you can understand this file and add what ever the necessary fields you want.
And after that check out your data base table called #__users and add the extra fields you want. (ex: if you want to add Telephone number add filed calld tp_no). And make sure to use the same name that you use in XML file "field name" for the database table column as well.
I imagine you are looking for something like this?

Probably the safest solution in the short and long term. I've not used it but it looks like it does what you want and from an interface rather than changing hard code.
There is manual how do it. Turn on subtitles visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6xsKLiXF40

Joomla File Handling - Variable name not passed

I made a component with a "file" field type, but the content of that single field are not passed at all, I was under the impression it should save the file name as text at least, if I change the field type to "text" the name saves so I know everything else is functioning. All the other fields are being passed. What am I doing wrong?
File handling aside, I just want it to save the name.
A detailed explanation would be appreciated, or even better, can I get someone who knows what he's doing re-write this component using MVC so I can compare.
Thanks
Can't really help with what you have so far as you haven't provided any code, however our website have recently made a small simple component for Joomla 2.5 for file uploading using the SWFUpload framework, should you want to use it.

Identifying Email Messages by IDs

I was wondering if anyone knew whether there is a unique identifier attached to an email that I can use to verify whether emails are the same? I know about the EntryID and PR_SEARCH_KEY, but i need something abit more specific if it exists.
Supposed I forward an email to 3 people. I want to make sure that at most 1 copy of those forwarded emails is added to a database. Is there an identifier that will be shared between those three emails that i can record and use to disallow entry of the other two? Or will I have to add a manual tag somewhere on the email?
thanks
The obvious answer is the Message-ID, which all good emailers use. However, not everyone in the world uses it.
