Joomla! Yoothemes Carousel refuses to load more than 4 slides - joomla

I started up a forum topic here: http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=472&t=716885 but have had no reply. I have a Joomla! 1.5 site where Yootheme Carousel module is used to rotate banner images. I have added six and in the Yootheme carousel settings I have adjusted the amount of slides to load. But somehow it keeps on loading the initial ones added a few years ago and not the new ones. I do not see any 404 errors and I do believe the file rights are fine. Even with CHMOD 755 only the initial older four are loaded, but not the final two. Any ideas?
Update I
Cache for the slider is turned off and after reloading the two extra images were still not loaded. Wonder if the module stores the new value or not..

Found a video tutorial with the missing step. Was not enought to add the image to media/artboard/large. I also had to integrate it into an article with section Artboard and Category large.

Joomla - Remove product image zoom function

I am relatively new here but am looking forward to the support and knowledge i can gain here.
I have recently taken over a Joomla site that has a custom shopping cart which as far as i can tell is called dnaCatalog. I have tried to Google it but came up nothing but the actual dna workings of Joomla and other such things.
What i would like to achieve is to remove the image zoom from the product images in the shopping cart. I have searched the admin back-end through the plugins and modules but cant find any reference to any form of image zoom so I am guessing its hardcoded into the theme or catalog.
I currently have the site on a testing server here... http://geekdimm.com/ragland-current.
I have just updated it to the current version of Joomla 3.6.5
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks in advance.
The zoom function is coded as a JQuery add on, you will find it at templates/quasar/js/jquery.loupe.min.js. The optimal way to solve this is to find the calls to the script above and remove them (be careful what you remove, you should know what you doing when editing the core files).
Alternatively look for the class called loupe which are associated to your images, this gives your images the zoom functionality.
The easiest (but dirtiest) way to solve this is to go to your templates css file
templates/quasar/css/template.css and on line 7127 add the CSS display:none!important;

Silverstripe 3.1.2 Issue saving FocusPoint when module used with Gallery module

I'm using two great modules for Silverstripe 3 but there is a conflict somewhere which I can't work out. I've asked the developers but they have not found the solution yet.
Modules:
FocusPoint which allows you to choose where the image crops from. Great!
https://github.com/jonom/silverstripe-focuspoint
Gallery, popular gallery module.
https://github.com/frankmullenger/silverstripe-gallery
Both work fine. But Focus points do not "save" within the gallery section of a Gallery page. You can edit and choose the focus point but after saving it snaps back to the previous position. You can alter the focus point in the Files tab of the CMS so it must be how Gallery saves each image.
I have updated the template to CroppedFocusedImage but this is not a template issue.
It would be a very helpful addition.
Can you please provide some details of failure? Do you see any warning or error messages if you run in dev mode? Any small black error box on left-top when you save?
If FocusPoint module does not work, you can have a look at folder permissions or maybe any PHP libraries like ImageMagick, GD support etc. Maybe you you changed something during upgrade?
If both modules work individually, but the problem is cropped image is not saved in correct directory, it is another issue although it could still be permission issue.
You can set which folder it needs to save into, same as how you set in normal UploadField. But it wouldn't change just because of your upgrade.
For anyone looking for the answer it has been resolved here: https://github.com/frankmullenger/silverstripe-gallery/pull/23

Joomla 2.5 Template Configuration Error

This is my first experiment with Joomla (2.5) and I am having trouble figuring out what is not configured correctly between the two.
I started with the template and all was good but then as I was configuring / adding content I must have changed something.
The two areas in question is the "top movies" section at the bottom and the "Latest News", Recent News tabs.
Looking at the html in developer tools I can clearly see the difference but I can't figure out what to do / change / look at in the Joomla admin.
The original template is here:
http://temp.lamplighterguild.com/
The one I eventually want to go live with is here:
http://take7.lamplighterguild.com/
I'm not sure what else to post but if you'll just educate me more on what I can provide I'll be happy to update / edit.
Thank You
Edit
Elin you were most helpful pointing me in the right direction. What I found was that another module I was using Code 7 Responsive Slider jquery was colliding with the templates jquery. If I disable the Code 7 slider the jquery carousel and jquery tabs are back to the original.
So now I am off to figure out how to get them to play nice...including using another slider if needed. FWIW I need the images to be href links and that was not readily available using the default slider that came with the template so I grabbed another slider.
Put your comment in some form of an answer and I will mark it for you.
Thanks again.

Website with a very slow load time on every page

http://www.puppykisses.org/
i made a WordPress page for a client, and for some reason it is taking over a minute to load the page. The only thing that I could think of being the problem is the amount of photos that he inserted into the slider up top on the home page. It looks like all those pictures need to load before anything else pops up. But then I click on Contact or any other page that has no real images to speak of, and the problem is still there. Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction to fix this. thanks!
Like #David said, its the initial request (the source for the page) that is giving you the issues. This means it is unlikely an issue with hosting, and most likely an issue with your code. I would go through any plugins you have installed and disable them one-by-one, and slowly start commenting out your own custom dynamic code bit by bit, till you see what is taking so incredibly long. Then rewrite/excise that code from the site.
Start With the Basics
Keep the number of WordPress plugins you use to a minimum
Get a Proper Hosting Provider
Remove Unnecessary Code From WordPress Header -> http://goo.gl/yfRcF
Use firebug and click Network tab to check loading speed for each files
Check Suggestion how to improve website speed -> http://goo.gl/FtiX3
Install WP Super Cache plugin -> http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-super-cache/
*If you use gallery try to use image thumbnail rather than load whole images size

Change images folder for slider automatically depending on page loaded on Joomla 2.5

I'm doing a site and i have the following issue:
I have to show a lot of products, and in each page for each product i have an slider, this slider must have diferent images for every product. The thing is, as i'm using an slider component/module for joomla 2.5, i need to duplicate it for every product (at least for the little i know of joomla).
There is no other way to chance the images for the slider automatically, without duplicaiting the module/component?
You can use plugins to create image sliders easily inside articles.Nice Slide Show is a paid extension that will serve your purpose.
The Simple Image Slider is a free plugin but couldn't find its 2.5 version.
Also check this plugin:Sliding Image Links
Hope it helps
