I need to use Liferay 6.1 calendar but it seems like it does not support multilanguage (i.e. language translations) for events.
When I insert a new event it doesn't show me the "Add translation" feature.
I don't know if this exists as an update of the plugin, I'm already using an hook over it but the main problem is to have more than one title, i.e. one for each language.
Anyone know how I can solve it?

In my opinion you cann't make this with a hook, but with Ext. Because this requirement need to change the EditEventAction.java of Liferay Core. Thus change you can make only with a Ext. Futermore you must change the edit_event.jsp and the evet views jsps. Here a screenshot how this can see if you make it:

My partner and I created a custom task form to be used in Outlook using the developer mode to do that, and we published it to the Organization Forms Library for anyone to open. We're running into issues that I personally can't seem to find on how to resolve:
Custom forms aren't syncing correctly.
When I complete out the custom form, and I assign it to someone else they might be missing details like the dates I picked from the date picker, and text within the text box are gone too. It's very odd that sometimes some would get all the details that an end-user would input but that's like a 1/8 chance. I feel like there's a disconnect where it just won't behave like any other task. Cache mode or no cache mode doesn't matter it seems. When the person assigns it back with changes made on their end, those changes aren't seen on my side. I just have the same original details that I made when I first made it. We're on Exchange Server 2010.
Looks like a custom form was not published correctly to others in the organization. Try to create a new Outlook item on other machines with your custom forms to make sure they were deployed correctly.
Note, message forms default to separate layouts for composing and reading. Many people find their first message form doesn't look right when they receive an item created with it. That's simply because they forgot to click the Edit Read Page button and customize the Read layout!

I'm creating some project using HippoCMS 10 and I need to add RichText editor as part of the page, so that customer can use it and fill something there. This editor must act exactly the same way as in Document Editor (customer can click Image button in toolbar and select image from ImagePicker dialog box).
Can't find anything about it in HippoCMS official documentation. I learned how to create custom plugins and how to integrate CKEditor into page separately, but for image picking, I need default behaviour as in Hippo.
How can I achieve this? Any help will be appreciated!
I think your question was answered on the community group. The answer there was:
"it should be quite easy to have a CKEditor in the website.
However, it doesn't really make sense to me to have site visitors able to pick CMS documents and images from the site. The picker dialogs are designed to work inside the CMS only. You should be able to create your own picker dialog that can read from a REST service that exposes the images/documents.
I don't think it will be possible to reuse the CMS picker dialog in the site."

I have been searching special event hooks for use to track and update module forms. I found contenthooks on the documentation site but I couldn't get anything for modules. I want to add a plugin so that it adds an extra field viz. radio button to every module form. Finally I want to use the value of this radio field in templates/your-template/html/module.php. Can someone point me in the right direction towards this. Thanks :)
Jooma does not have event driven structure like for example .NET or Java. However if you want to trigger some additional functionality on certain event you may create a plugin. Plugin is something different than module or component but it 'collaborates' with them. It handles some per-defined events:

You may also try the way I usually take which is customize module display. You simply copy
view file of the module you want to modify to your template. For example:
/modules/mod_feed/tmpl/default.php
to
/templates/{your template}/mod_feed/default.php
Now you can freely modify this file without any risk that it may be overwritten on the next Joomla update. Just don't forget to set your overwrite in module settings: go to administrator, modules, choose module to edit and in the tab 'Advanced' select 'Alternative Layout'.

Take a look at the new com_ajax that is in 3.2.
We have a client that has a requirement to disable the source tab on components, they want to force them to use the GUI fields only and not mess around with any source.
Whilst this is easy to accomplish for rich-text fields I cannot find a configurable way of doing it for the whole component.
I'm presuming I'm going to have to modify the GUI somehow and make the source tab only viewable by administrators (or a specifically created user group). What I lack is a) the knowledge on how to do this and b) knowing whether this can be done via a method I'm unaware of.
Any help appreciated as I've not had to customise the GUI since 5.2 SP1.

Does anyone have an idea how when a particular possibility is picked, a list of custom based fields will appear in the form? Thanks in advance
If i understand your problem correctly you want certain fields to appear/disappear according to the choice selected in the option set.
The way I see this working is by implementing a Javascript on the onChange event of the option set. you can do this from the 'Form Properties' when changing the layout of the form.

You can put your custom fields in a custom tab and then hide/disable it according to the value in the option set.

If you are comfortable working in Visual Studio, I highly recommend installing the Developer Toolkit (You can find the .msi \tools\developertoolkit - download it from here). It will allow you to develop JScript with some syntax highlighting and intellisense and makes source control and deployment a snap.
