What happenening with this theme setup? - magento

I am trying to put up this theme 'abc' but magento is not rendering it. Instead it is redirecting me to page not found. It's in the enterprise package and this theme is working fine on my other copy of installations both enterprise and community.
I have also tried by going into CMS home page and changing it's design using 'abc' theme and layout, but still getting this msg page not found on frontend. I am having cache disabled. Developer mode on and the is no error recorded in log files.
please suggest something.
edit---
If I go to page.xml in abc and comment the default layout. I get a black white page in frontend. So magento is actually finding it or if I break some xml tag and can see the error.

image goes upto tmp folder but is not uploaded in product image Magento 1.9.2.3

I updated my website theme and just a week back backend admin product image upload functionality completely stopped working. I am not able to view or upload images at all. I have checked the permissions made changes to Uploader.php in lib it goes up to tmp folder but doesnot upload. my Magento version is mentioned. I tried disabling modules. Adding Dull uploader / Maven HTML5 Uploader none of which seems to work. I have gone through most questions on Stack but no solution seems to work. Any help pointing me towards a good solution is appreciated
it seems that the theme update may be causing this issue.
First thing you can try is changing the theme to magento's default theme.
If this is not helping, you can try going into the image upload page in magento backend and inspect the page, see if there are any error messages. If this isn't helping you can try contacting the theme's support team to help you, or ask them for older version of the theme so you revert it.

Magento cart page is not showing

My Magento cart page is not showing at all. It just comes up with a blank page. Previously this site was developed by another developer and He has disabled the Checkout process. Now I cannot find which settings he has done to stop the checkout process.
Can anyone tell me what are the possibilities to stop the default module from working.
Also every thing else is coming right on the cart page. Header and footer and all the things just that it is not rendering the html for cart block. The Content just came up empty, with no HTML.
Please open the adminpanel and then go to the
System/Configuration/Advanced
there is a tab Disable Modules Output and then enable the Mage_checkout module
As I have told you the previous developer have disabled the modules. But that was not the case the developer have installed some extensions to disable the checkout process but that does not work very well. Then he tries to delete the extensions the wrong way so the entries that were made by those extensions was still in the database table "core_config_data".
And these values are being used by the left over files of the extensions ans he has overridden the magento core files for that. I just copy and replace the core magento files and also cleared the table "core_config_data" table and all things got working once again.

opencart theme not changing

I installed opencart 1.5.6 on my localhost, and it's not possible for me to change the theme. The admin panel says the new theme is active, but the default theme always appears.
I made the same installation on a remote server, and everything is working well there.
I have no idea what's wrong on my localhost. I'm on a new installation on Ubuntu 12.4 with a default configuration for LAMP. I tried to compare the two phpinfo but there are so many things that are different that gives me no clue.
It was just a problem of rights on the theme folder. Very stupid ...
First, I would check your database to see if the change is registered. Use phpMyAdmin (or whatever included with your LAMP stack) and look at the "oc_setting" (prefix may differ) and see if the config_template is set to the template you've chosen via the admin. This will help identify if the issue is database related.
I have the solution, the ACTUAL solution. (For me anyway)
Extract the theme.
Login to your OpenCart website using FTP. Please read our article if
you need help using FTP.
Upload the catalog and images folders to the root of your OpenCart installation.
Once the upload is finished, log into your OpenCart Dashboard and go
to System > Settings
Choose your website from the list, check the box next to it, and select “Edit”
In the store tab you will now see your new theme option available under 'Template'
Click Save.
It has now been updated.
Many, many tutorials online at the moment incorrectly instruct people to upload their theme directly into the catalog > view > theme location as though it were a WordPress theme or similar. You actually need to put the appropriate resources where they need to be.

magento page not display properly

I install magento on the server with default theme, then I put in a category and a product to see how it works, I found out the detail page doesnt layout right and no pictures on it only plain texts. I change to other themes and reindex / refresh coach and none of them helped, the magento is fresh install and nothing change beside adding some theme and product.
I would reinstall if it isn't a huge problem. Something must have gone wonky.

Cant see any page on magento

I am facing the following problem
http://www.theprinterdepot.net/hp-5000dn-printer-refurbished.html
all product pages are blank, but if you go to the homepage, or a category page or a search results page its working.
ini errors in enabled so I have no idea where to look for the error.
I solved this my self after clearing all magento cache. I also had to put the old theme I was using, the creators of the theme told me that it only allows magento 1.4.1.1 to 1.5.1.1 and my installation was 1.4.0.1.
I think that was the problemm
