I am using Magento 1.7.
I am trying to change My Account to Your Account as per a video I am watching, yet when I add the following to app/design/frontend/default/mytheme/locale/en_US/translate.csv
My Account, Your Account
(that is what the guy did in the video, though I am assuming he is using an earlier version) or
"My Account", "Your Account"
nothing happens.
Also tried editing it with inline translations, I get the little book icon, open it, edit the text, refresh but nothing happens (it is NOT a caching problem).
Any ideas? Maybe some other CSV file is overwriting the one in my custom theme.
Turns out it was a bit of a caching problem. I basically disabled ALL caching and chose "Default Config" in system/configuration and now inline translating seems to be working.
So if you are having problems with this just go to cache management and disable everything.
Sometimes you have use a scope for your translation:
"Mage_Customer::My Account", "Your Account"

It appears that the "Publish to the Web" feature for Sheets no longer allows downloading of a sheet by URL, unless the "Share" feature is set to share to "Anyone with the link".
Up until yesterday, 11/18/2020, this extra step of making sure the "Share" setting was in place was not necessary.
Can you please confirm if this is a bug or a new and expected change? Thanks! ^_^
This seems to be a bug:
If a spreadsheet is Published to the web, it won't be accessible in any of the file formats (.csv, .pdf, .ods, etc.) to users who don't have access to the spreadsheet itself: for these users, it will only be accessible as a Web page.
This is not intended behaviour, since files that have been published to the web should be accessible to anyone with the link, no matter the sharing settings the spreadsheet itself has.
Issue Tracker:
This behaviour has been reported in Issue Tracker several times: see this issue, this one and also the one you mentioned.
Specifically, the following issue seems to have been getting more traction, and it has already been reported internally by Google (see comment #3):
Private Sheet public CSV export requires authentication
Therefore, I'd suggest anyone affected by this issue to click the star on the top-left in order to be notified of updates and to help prioritizing this.
Workaround:
Share the spreadsheet itself with Anyone with the link as Viewer role.
Hi all am a noob on the rise with web development and design and I am trying to edit a file that I found that seems to be controlling some information about world countries. More specifically I want to add a zone to a country. This file is part of the opencart e-commerce suite. It is located here: system/cache and is called cache.zone.16 and I openned it with notepad. the contents are as follows:

The problem is this, I am trying to open an online store using opencart because its free and am broke but I've notice that when I was trying to register a fake account to test it out with my new design I noticed something strange. The capital of the Bahamas, which is Nassau, is missing from this list. And thats kind of huge issue because Nassau is where the majority of the population of the Bahamas lives. So can someone be so kind as to offer some advice for this problem? Where to look, something to read, perhaps even a solution.
Thank You;

That's all !!
This is my first project on website development using Joomla. I am trying to make a dashboard implementation. My problem is that whenever I edit my script in article using source tags, the changes are not reflected on my site immediately. I have even tried restarting my Wamp server, but in vain. Any tips that I should follow?
Thanks.
Depending on your Joomla-Version there are different options to check to suppress stripping or filtering of tags like <script> for the frontend. Here are some hints:
First of all your tags could be filtered out client-sided depending on the editor you selected. If you use the standard TinyMCE e.g. go to Extensions - Plugins - TinyMCE where you will find a list of prohibited Elements which may include script. Be exactly sure what you do though, always check who should be allowed to enter script tags in an article, this is almost always a major security risk if anybody else like you as an administrator has the right to use them. So another option could be to just set the editor for your administrator/author accout to plain text and leave TinyMCE untouched.
Another filtering is done server-sided by joomla itself which can be controlled in "Global Configuration" -> "Text filter". After a standard installation all groups will use Default Black List filtering which includes removing script tags. Here you could define "No Filtering" for the Super User group e.g.
Again, all this depends on your Joomla-Version (my examples are referring to 2.5) and are hints to get around the issue but without knowing your security concept.
I've looked around online for this but can't seem to find an answer anywhere so hopefully someone can help.
I'm getting a "Windows Security" popup appearing on a site I've created (and so are others which is who I need to fix it for rather than myself) when trying to download a word document or excel file. PDFs seem fine.
An example page is http://www.christletonhigh.co.uk/school_information/uniform.php if you click to download the “Uniform Prices & Order Form” in the bottom right.
There’s no SSL on the site and the error only comes up on IE (I'm using IE9 on Windows 7 which I've seen others mentioning online as their setup with this happeneding) and doesn’t seem to effect all files so it’s a bit confusing. Clicking cancel on the popup causes the document to open anyway.
Anyone have any ideas please? The client tells me that the documents causing the problems have never been password protected.
For the reference, here's the detailed explanation why this happens: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2019105
Solution mentioned by Anshuman should work: create script that adds "Content-Disposition" header with "attachment" value. For example: Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="myfile.doc". This will force all the content (including PDF, images, etc.) to be downloaded.
Security settings aside, other browsers seem to handle this more gracefully than IE9. Chrome, for example, seems to handle the download of the document with ease, and not result in a Windows Security dialog prompting for credentials to their network...
The users can disabled the 'protected view' settings from Word options | Trust Center, and the document will open with no dialog (probably not desirable to instruct them to do this)
I suppose this is the risk one takes when having users download content which require other applications to handle. a PDF would be better (hence the "P" for "Portable"), so if they can use PDF, that would be my first advice.
This issue comes when you give the direct URL path of the file and let the browser handle the file. To resolve this create a php script that explicitly downloads the file. Hope this helps :)
We are using Joomla 1.5.21 and JCE 1.5.7 and have some trouble with the front end saving of articles.
Saving the article in the front end has no effect on the article stored in the database and therefore users on other devices cannot see the modification.
However, the changes ARE visible for the logged in user even after deleting the cache & cookies and reloading the page.
I noticed this behaviour only when the user is classified as an editor or publisher, if he is an author the editor doesn't store any of the changes!
How can I get the article changes to save?
Thanks Salem for your comment but finally we could solve the problem by ourself. The problem was caused by joomfish or more by my OS. I am using a german OS which sometimes switches from english to german on its own, so that we had two different (language) versions in the back- and frontend.
