I found this question about removing "Reactions" from Disqus: How to remove Disqus reaction from the counter?, but it appears to be outdated, because I can't find those options on the current version of Disqus.
On my blog, http://ilovetheupperwestside.com, when you view a post, the Disqus text "X Comments and Y Reactions" conflicts with the design of the "Recent Posts" sidebar widget.
I'm trying to figure out how to remove the reactions part. Any thoughts?
Thanks.
Check disqus plugin source. There was a hook that trigger to loop. After commetimg it - everything will become good.

I am running TYPO3 v10.4.21 and have the News System extension by Georg Ringer installed, together with the T3SBootstrap Extension. What I would like to achieve is having a tag filter with a clickable list of tags in the sidebar, which leads to a list view of all the news articles with said tag.
I have followed the documentation as explained here: https://docs.typo3.org/p/georgringer/news/master/en-us/UsersManual/Plugins/Index.html#tag-list
That is:
Added Plugin to sidebar on the detail page, displaying "Tag list"
Under "Additional" set "PageId for list display" to an additional page with a plugin containing "list view"
Created several dummy articles which have different Tags added to them
However, when clicking on a tag in the sidebar I am only shown the detail view of the first article. So far I have found no other mentions of someone experiencing a similar problem.
Am I maybe missing something? Or is this a known bug perhaps?
Turns out I did just overlook something! In case someone else stumbles upon this in the future, since this step is not mentioned in the documentation, here is what I had missed:
In the settings for the plugin displaying the list of filtered items, I had to make sure the following Plugin Options were set to:
Settings > What to display: "List view (without overloading detail view)"
Additional > Tags: include all the tags that should be available for filtering
This is my first experiment with Joomla (2.5) and I am having trouble figuring out what is not configured correctly between the two.
I started with the template and all was good but then as I was configuring / adding content I must have changed something.
The two areas in question is the "top movies" section at the bottom and the "Latest News", Recent News tabs.
Looking at the html in developer tools I can clearly see the difference but I can't figure out what to do / change / look at in the Joomla admin.
The original template is here:

The one I eventually want to go live with is here:
http://take7.lamplighterguild.com/
I'm not sure what else to post but if you'll just educate me more on what I can provide I'll be happy to update / edit.
Thank You
Edit
Elin you were most helpful pointing me in the right direction. What I found was that another module I was using Code 7 Responsive Slider jquery was colliding with the templates jquery. If I disable the Code 7 slider the jquery carousel and jquery tabs are back to the original.
So now I am off to figure out how to get them to play nice...including using another slider if needed. FWIW I need the images to be href links and that was not readily available using the default slider that came with the template so I grabbed another slider.
Put your comment in some form of an answer and I will mark it for you.
Thanks again.
I've used like buttons on my site for several months using http://www.addthis.com/ and they've worked fine. Recently I decided to start using facebook comments on the pages instead of my previous commenting system but I've found that adding the plugin to the page has an unexpected impact on the "like" button.
The like button has been configured in the button_count style with no send button, however if the comments module is on the page the flyout appears upon liking the content. I don't want this to happen.
It may also be worth adding that there is a "like-box" on the page too but that it seems fine.
Does anybody know of a tie/conflict between comments and "like" buttons that would make this happen? Any help resolving this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
we have purchased the "moo faq" component.. but it is not working form our side... we have installed the component as the component package consists of the plugins and the module... we have made a section and under that section we have made a category.. under that same section and the category we have made an article but the content of the article is not showing.. we have made a menu and linked it to the category... the front-end link is only showing the "expand" and "Collapse" link but not showing the content of the article.. this is the link where you can see the problem "http://www.musiclibrary.fi/en/for-now/faqtest".. you can see this link under the "For now" link in the menu which will come after logged in... the login details is UN==samitbose PW==samitbose2011 .. we are using joomla version 1.5.23 and MooFaq version is 1.5.5.4... Please have a look on this point .. any help will be greatly appreciated.. thanks in advance...
Looks like you are still struggling with this.
If so, I'd check the following:
The FAQ category is published
The FAQ question itself is published
The menu links to the same category that contains the question
The category/question are no set to 'special' access level
My initial thought on reading the question was that this would be a clash with Mootools/jQuery or perhaps Mootools in the component and the Mootools upgrade plugin. I don't see anything in the page to point to this though.
If none of the above points you in the right direction - chase the developers, especially as this is a paid extension.
i have posted this link ages ago regarding wordpress:
wordpress - having comments inline ajax like in stackoverflow
and i think that i maybe didn't describe my request properly as each of the given solutions dont actually do what i am looking for:
I would like it when i click on "Add Comment" under my post, to have it simply show an inline form ajax style to avoid users having to click first to a seperate comments page
this is what happens when i click on "Add Comment" in stackoverflow and i never have to leave the main index page.
Seems like this plugin would do most if not all of what you need:
