BIRT report viewer localization - birt

I'm using Birt web report viewer 4.2.1 , and how can I localize report viewer language to Russian, Localization offered by eclipse site only for certain IDE,

I had the same problem with the Spanish language. I solved it by downloading the package for "Helios" from "http://www.eclipse.org/babel/downloads.php".
For the Russian language:
download http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/technology/babel/babel_language_packs/R0.10.1/helios/BabelLanguagePack-birt-ru_3.6.0.v20121120125106.zip
unzip
copy "org.eclipse.birt.resources.nl_ru_3.6.0.v20121120125106.jar" WEB-INF/lib directory of your BIRT viewer installation.
Hope it helps!

Subclipse JavaHL zip source for manual installation

We are working to install updated versions of Eclipse and Subclipse on a few VMs in a data center. The firewall in place for this dc prevents us from downloading anything from the Eclipse download sites or marketplace. Instead, we download to computers outside of the data center, move the files, and install things manually.
The OS for these VMs is Windows Server, a mix of 2012, 2016, and 2019. The Eclipse IDE for Java 2021-12 can be installed without issue. It appears that we can also install the SVNKit (org.tmatesoft.svn_1.10.3.zip) and Subclipse 4.3.3 (subclipse-4.3.3.zip) successfully, provided that the SVNKit is installed first.
Subclipse does not provide an option to install JavaHL. We are struggling to locate a proper zip file that can be used to manually install the JavaHL part. The files from github return error messages in Eclipse that it cannot find a jar to install. Suggestions and advice on how this could be installed without access to the marketplace or update sites would be greatly appreciated.
Eclipse message for JavaHL zip file
Mark provided us a link within the github space he maintains to exactly what we were looking for. The javahl windows code needed was found here, nicely prepared in zip files by version - https://github.com/subclipse/updates/tree/main/javahl
We used 1.14.0, found here - https://github.com/subclipse/updates/blob/main/javahl/subclipse-javahl-1.14.0.zip
Thank you Mark!

how to integrate kendo licensed files in angular 5 app?

We have an angular 5 app developed using angular-cli tool. We were using kendo trial version until now. Now, we would like to replace it with kendo licensed files.
For trial version we had installed kendo components using npm. So all of the kendo dependencies are in package.json file.
For licensed files, we downloaded them from telerik site after getting license.
Now how do we replace those trial files with licensed files in our angular-cli project?
Thanks in advance.
I will assume you are talking about Kendo UI for Angular and not Kendo UI for jQuery or any other Kendo.
You install packages with npm, same as for trial.
Notes:
For getting source code, you will need to enter credentials. Documentation.
License information here.
If you do not own a commercial license, this file shall be governed by
the trial license terms.
Read this issue for details. I think it will answer all your questions.

TFastLineSeries class not found error in TeeChart Standard 2014 RAD XE5?

We are using TFastlineSeries from TeeChart VCL. The program compiles without any error. However, when we execute the project, 'class TFastLineSeries not found' messagebox is displayed.
We are using Embarcadero C++Builder XE5 and TeeChart Standard 2014 RAD XE5.
A similar issue had occurred in TeeChart for XE4 and Steema Software released a work around. When I search their site and elsewhere, I don't find this issue in XE5.
Can someone tell me what could be wrong?
Thanks.
I've rebuilt the fix with XE5 and the TeeChart Lite version shipped with the IDE.
The zip here includes the compiled package and the headers for C++.
Note there's also a free update for the TeeChart Lite version shipped with XE5 here.

Web Application: RAP tool kit

I want to develop a web application in java. I am using eclipse juno release 2. I need a toolkit like the one in visual studio, where we drag & drop the controls for developing user interface. I found RAP plugin for the same. Can anybody tell me whether it will serve the purpose? Please suggest.
RAP provides a widget toolkit with SWT API, hence you can use the SWT Designer, which is part of the Eclipse WindowBuilder project.
This tutorial will help you get started with the SWT Designer. The UIs created with this tool can also be used with RAP, as long as you avoid controls that are not supported by RAP (such as StyledText).

Include (bundle) a JRE within the NetBeans Installer?

I developed a Java Swing application on the NetBeans Platform (RCP). I want to include the Windows JRE with the installer that NetBeans generates in case a PC does not have JRE installed, but I do not know how to do this. I have tried to follow the following instructions but failed (I find that the instructions assume that you know absolutely everything on JDK and JRE, for example I would get the message 'pack200' is not recognized as an internal or external command...it would seem that some paths are wrong or outdated):
How to bundle JVM (JRE/JDK) in the installer bundle?
Including the JRE in a NetBeans Platform Installer
Installing the JRE via an Application's Installer via Windows
I am trying to pack the JRE version 7u7
My JDK folder structure is the following:
C:\Program Files\Java\
in here I have the following two folders:
jdk1.7.0_07 and jre7
Please help me...Thank you so much
I have followed "Installing the JRE via an Application's Installer via Windows" in your link to successfully create a Windows installer for my Netbeans platform application.
What are the problems you encountered?
"'pack200' is not recognized as an internal or external command" is because %JAVA_HOME%/bin is not in your PATH (environment variable). You can run pack200 with
"C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_07\bin\pack200" -J-Xmx1024m rt.jar.pack.gz rt.jar
Btw, it seems like "app.conf=nbproject/my.conf" part in the article is outdated. I have to modify directly the file "build/launcher/etc/app_name.conf" in my project.
Maybe this guide can help you:
Self-Contained Applications: Package non-JavaFX application
https://blogs.oracle.com/talkingjavadeployment/entry/packaging_improvements_in_jdk_7#3
One of popular questions people ask about self-contained applications - can i package my Java application as self-contained application? Absolutely.
This is true even for tools shipped with JDK 7 update 6. Simply follow steps for creating package for Swing application with integrated JavaFX content and they will work even if your application does not use JavaFX.
