Installing Meteor at Koding - installation

I'm trying to instal meteor at koding and I got error on the last step meteor -p port this is what I get :
app/packages/mongo-livedata/mongo_driver.js:33
throw err;
^

There is a section about Meteor in the Koding wiki.
Also, please note that you should select a port inside the port range of 1024 to 10000. Some ports may be in use, so you might have to try out a few different ones.

Not sure if you've gotten past this, but I had a similar issue. I ended up having to create an environment variable named MONGO_URL:
export MONGO_URL=mongodb://user:pass#host:port/dbname
Of course, replace user, pass, host, port and dbname with what Koding assigned to you. Not the most secure, so I'll find a more elegant solution to this, but for the moment, it works.

Yarn add - Private package - 404 Not Found

I want to install a private package hosted on an internal Gitlab with Yarn.
So, I configured my .npmrc with this informations :
#mypackage:registry=https://gitlab.intra/api/v4/packages/npm/
//gitlab.intra/api/v4/projects/819/packages/npm/:_authToken=xxxxx
//gitlab.intra/api/v4/packages/npm/:_authToken=xxxxx
always-auth=true
When I attempt to install the package with yarn add #mypackage/lib-node-client, Yarn give me an error :
Trace:
Error: https://gitlab.intra/api/v4/projects/725/packages/npm/#mypackage/lib-node-common/-/#mypackage/lib-node-common-21.7.1.tgz: Request failed "404 Not Found"

at HTTPParser.parserOnHeadersComplete (node:_http_common:129:17)
at HTTPParser.execute (<anonymous>)
at TLSSocket.socketOnData (node:_http_client:512:22)
So, Yarn can't find the URL : https://gitlab.intra/api/v4/projects/725/packages/npm/#mypackage/lib-node-common/-/#mypackage/lib-node-common-21.7.1.tgz
If I try to get this on my browser, I can download the package...
If anyone can help me please, thank's for all :)
In your .npmrc file, you tell how to connect to GitLab for the project 819. The error is about the project 725. GitLab simply refuse the connexion.
Try with
#mypackage:registry=https://gitlab.intra/api/v4/packages/npm/
//gitlab.intra/api/v4/projects/725/packages/npm/:_authToken=xxxxx
//gitlab.intra/api/v4/projects/819/packages/npm/:_authToken=xxxxx
//gitlab.intra/api/v4/packages/npm/:_authToken=xxxxx
always-auth=true
We had a gitlab private package registry, and was constantly getting this error.
npm i #placeholder/package-name works fine, but yarn add #placeholder/package-name was giving 404 errors.
I tried all possible solutions listed on this thread. At last, there was a section in gitlab on troubleshooting yarn installation [1].
It said,
try adding this to your .npmrc file (and replace <your_token> with your personal access token or deploy token):
//gitlab.example.com/api/v4/projects/:_authToken=<your_token>
Our previous .npmrc looked like this
save-exact=true
unsafe-perm=true
#placeholder:registry=https://gitlab.com/api/v4/packages/npm/
//gitlab.com/api/v4/packages/npm/:_authToken=${PLACEHOLDER_TOKEN}
With the above new line addition, it looked like this,
save-exact=true
unsafe-perm=true
#placeholder:registry=https://gitlab.com/api/v4/packages/npm/
//gitlab.com/api/v4/packages/npm/:_authToken=${PLACEHOLDER_TOKEN}
//gitlab.com/api/v4/projects/:_authToken=${PLACEHOLDER_TOKEN}
With that addition, yarn add #placeholder/package-name worked fine.
[1] https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/user/packages/npm_registry/#error-running-yarn-with-the-package-registry-for-npm-registry
This should be the accepted answer. //gitlab.com/api/v4/projects/:_authToken=${PLACEHOLDER_TOKEN} Was the piece I was missing, which supercedes needing to list each project id as in Joel's answer.

sctp_core_destroy(): SCTP API not initialized in kamailio start

Hi I have installed Kamalio it start first time but when I stop and start it again it gives sctp_core_destroy(): SCTP API not initialized . I have already installed sctp module.
yyerror_at(): parse error in config file /etc/kamailio/kamailio.cfg
load_module(): could not find module <db_mysql> in </usr/lib/kamailio/modules>
[sctp_core.c:53]: sctp_core_destroy(): SCTP API not initialized
From the log it is obvious that you have successfully compiled & installed SCTP module, however it could NOT be initialized.
Note that is error could must often than not be as a result of other errors in your cfg file.
Few tips:
Can you run kamailio -c and to be sure there is NO error in your cfg.
Found error? use this command to monitor what the exact issue is. Run from a different terminal tail -fn200 /var/log/syslog
On the second terminal try restarting you Kamalio server sudo service kamalio restart
Revisit terminal 1 and look out for the first line with CRITICAL output like the one below CRITICAL: <core> [core/cfg.y:3413]: yyerror_at(): parse error in config file /usr/local/etc/kamailio/kamailio.cfg, line 366, column 41: syntax error
Line 366 mostly is the issue so visit that file at that line (366) to fix the proble
sudo nano +366 /usr/local/etc/kamailio/kamailio.cfg
Let me know if it helps

I'm running a shell script before I try to run a local copy of my meteor app. It supposed to stop my application from interacting with other APIs. When I run the script (I'm on a mac) through my terminal, it returns '0' which as I read means that there are zero errors. I know that the error message is guiding me to certain lines of code, but I don't understand why I would change them if my co-worker could get his copy up and running. He is running his application on a windows computer. Thank you. I'm pretty new to this.
It was a permission error just as #thatgibbyguy first suggested. I was able to run it buy using sudo meteor to override the permission restrictions. I wasn't about to remove my mongod.lock file since that my coworker had the file and was able to get it up and running.

phoenix framework - invalid argument at new Socket - windows

I'm not able to run a new phoenix app. This is the error I'm getting; I'm not sure what the reason could be.
I tried changing the port, which didn't change the behaviour. Also, it seems like I'm able to run node correctly.

I was just running into a similar problem and I updated Node to the latest version as Jose Valim suggested. That fixed the problem.

Getting error when deploying my Play2.2.5 Application on Heroku

I have been searching and trying the things suggested for hours now and I still can't seem to get my play2.2.5 application to work on Heroku.
I get the error "An error occurred in the application and your page could not be served. Please try again in a few moments.If you are the application owner, check your logs for details." From the website when I try to run it.
Here is the text in my Procfile.txt
web: target/universal/stage/bin/homeworkorganizer -Dhttp.port=${PORT} -DapplyEvolutions.default=true -Ddb.default.driver=org.postgresql.Driver -Ddb.default.url=${DATABASE_URL}
You will notice that it doesn't contain that ${JAVA_OPTS}
Before I took that out, it didn't work either. And most of the websites I have looked at have said to remove it.
And here is the error gotten from "heroku logs"
Error can be found here
So the question is what do I need to do in order to get it to work properly?
Thanks in advance.
Procfile should have no extension, so Procfile.txt is being ignored by heroku. Which means that -DapplyEvolutions.default=true is being ignored and some default configuration is probably being used.
This is being hinted by this error:
2015-01-25T00:08:11.035238+00:00 app[web.1]: [←[33mwarn←[0m] play - Run with -DapplyEvolutions.default=true if you want to run them automatically (be careful)
