We are two developers. I am from the Philippines and the other developer from London, UK. We are done with the game and started adding in-app purchase. I just learned that I cannot open a merchant account as Philippines is not included. But my teammate can since he is in UK. Is it legal if he opens up a merchant account from UK and links to my developer account? Can we legally then implement in-app purchase?
You will have to open a bank account in the UK through a legal representative living there.
The registration process is very thorough in asking you to enter bank information details, so Google will reject countries that are not in this list. Sad, but it's the truth no thanks in part due to legal restrictions worldwide.
Your teammate should open his own developer account and use that to open a merchant account.

I have a Google Adsense account, I'm using it to show ads on my websites, also I'm using Admob to show ads on my applications. Everything is working fine as I have successfully verified my ID and Address with PIN and receiving money. And now I want to publish my applications on Google Play Store so I visited website to buy console account, it's written that google may ask to verify my identity and if failed money won't be refunded. My question is that after buying it, will google ask me to verify my identity with my photograph and government ID ?
They usually do not try to verify you, but usually it happened when you want to get payment for IAP (in app purchases) inside your apps.
Then they will ask for government ID (I recommend using passport), and will ask you to add a bank account to receive your money, it will take couple of days then they will verify you.
Do not worry it is normal process, the nonrefundable part is the 24$ you pay to open Google Play Developer account.
They may ask you to verify your phone number (it depends on your country, this is not done in all countries)
I understand that for using the API that allows to provide autocomplete addresses and to show the nearby places in a maps, I need to have a billing account. It is just a universitary project, so I would not like to have a subscription. However, I read that when I enable billing on my account, I will not pay nothing. I'm not sure about these information. Anyone could give me more information?
Yes u should have a billing account. You just need to do just link your credit or debit card to your account unless your API will not work. Just add a your card u can get free 3 months trial
Currently I am having one google play developer account.I want to Open New Account with same debit card which I used for my current account.all my details will be same as my old account.
In Short, can I create multiple Google play developer account with same credit/debit card?
Is it legal?
I also want to know that, If one of my account gets banned, will it affect second one, since both are created using same debit card.
It's fine, just be warned that if one is suspended, there's a good chance that both will br
No, you can not buy multiple accounts with the same Debit/Credit card.
Whenever one account is suspended/terminated then any other accounts with the same card will have the same actions taken.
Some days ago, a friend bought a console account, then after some time he bought another friend an account using same card. When the new friend's account was terminated, the first account was also terminated.
while reading through the online documentation I do not understand if:
there are some fees for commercial Apps published into GAM (or CWS) or the one time 5$ would suffice;
it is mandatory to have a Google Wallet account or not.
Thank you.
Before you publish your first item, you must pay a one-time US$5.00 developer registration fee. They charge this fee in order to verify developer accounts and better protect users against fraudulent activity.
The 5$ fee is just to verify the developer account.
Check this page for more details.
I believe all the payments to Google goes through Google wallet only. However, you have to provide your card information in Google wallet while you are paying.
Hope that helps!
So I was planning on releasing an paid app on Google Play Store as a private person and was therefore about to setup a Google Play Merchant Account.
The deal with the adress put an end to it though. Will my full name and home adress be visible to the buyers of the app in the reciept or in any other way?
I am fine with "company" e-mail adress and name but my personal information?
I never recieved Scarlett Johanssons home adress and phone number on the receipt when buying the Don Jon blu-ray, not even Joseph Gordon-Levitt's..
Is it me who misunderstood what is being shared when selling an app on Google Play Store?
Thanks in advance
