after installed osb, can't run config.exe to create a domain in windows7 - oracle

I am a newbie to weblogic and currently trying to learn it. I have installed weblogic 11.1.1.5.0, Oracle XE, and also create a schema. However, when I installed osb, I can't run config.exe (directory: C:\oracle\Middleware\home_11gR1\wlserver_10.3\common\bin ) to create a domain. my computer is Windows7 64bit. I try to run config.exe as Administrator but no response.
Also, in the Start Menu, when I click the shortcut of config.exe or uninstall in the Oracle OSB 11g - Home1 folder, it just say I don't have access permissions.
when I installed SOA, I alse met the same problem like OSB. I have installed these software in other PC which run windows XP, and there is no problem happen!
Here is the software I need to install
WebLogic 11.1.1.5.0
Oracle XE
soa 11.1.1.3.0
osb 11.1.1.3.0
So anyone can help?
Thanks in advance.
Daniel

Do you have admin rights? If so can you try right clicking and choosing "run as administrator"?

Run config.cmd from \wlserver_10.3\common\bin.
If it does not work, it should display an error to point you why.

ODAC 18c Release 1 (18.3.0.0.0) Installer crashing

I am trying to install ODAC 18c Release 1 (18.3.0.0.0) and when I click on the Setup.exe it shows the black screen(command prompt ) and there after nothing is coming. The universal Installer is not at all loading.
Currently I am using Windows 10 Enterprise edition ,
VS 2015 , 2017 Professional editions are installed.
My Machine is 64 bit
Other than the above I have installed ODTwithODAC1120320_32bit also in my system.
No idea why the installer is crashing.
I could see a prerequisite like
Access to an Oracle Database Server (Oracle 11g Release 2 or later)
is needed for the instillation in installation guide. In fact my oracle database server is located in some other place and we are accessing that from my location , so I need only client for accessing that. I am not sure what they meant by
Access to an Oracle Database Server (Oracle 11g Release 2 or later)
Do I need to install the Oracle database 11g+ ?? Do the crashing issue is because of some other reasons ?
Can someone help me to resolve this ?
Methods I have tried so far :
Open the install folder directly and click on the oui.exe directly
Disconnect internet and try to install
Run the installation exe in elevated rights mode
Kill the java.exe from task manager and try to install
None of the above methods are working.
And finally I found the reason.
I didn't have a _JAVA_OPTIONS in the system variables. I have added that and run the installer as run as administrator.
The variable value should be -Xmx512M

unable to run oracle through command line in oracle 11g XE

I have successfully installed Oracle 11g Express Edition but when I click on "Run SQL Command Line" popup appears that says "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application".
Can anyone please guide me with this issue.
Thanks,
seems to be like you need to reinstall the oracle 11g express edition again. might have not installed properly because the exe is not starting correctly. another thing is you might have a 64 bit machine and you might be using a 32 bit installer.
to be answer:
you should reinstall it.
most probably it is not installed properly.

Cannot install Oracle Mobile Framework in JDeveloper 12c

I tried to install Oracle Mobile Framework in JDeveloper 12c through Help -> Check updates.
It successfully downloaded and asked me to restart the IDE to install the downloaded updates.
I continued with restart procedure, but Oracle JDeveloper Studio doesn't get started.
After long time, I started IDE manually and tried Creating New Application -> mobile framework application, It doesn't shows.
Again gone through Checking for updates.. then it's shows below screen
Continued with NO. It asks me to restart the IDE again.
Any other way install Mobile framework?? Or any solution for this??
I had the same problem.
What you need to do is choose 'No' when JDeveloper asks you to restart now. Close JDeveloper yourself and start it up yourself. (Note: It may take some time for JDeveloper to start up so be patient!)
By the time you posted this issue, I don't know if this page was available in this exact format, but now, for the further issues similar with yours, that others may have, check out and download the Jdeveloper 12c with ADF, SOA, Mobile Application Framework and WebLogic Server from here:

Installer Oracle 11g windows 64 bit doesn't work

This one drives me crazy, I am installing Oracle Database 11g Release 2 Windows 64 bit version. Because Express edition doesn't work on win7.
Link to download is: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/enterprise-edition/downloads/112010-win64soft-094461.html
In total there are 2 files, using 7zip I have unzipped them in one folder. Folder is called 'database' containing:
doc
install
response
stage
setup
welcome
I double clicked on setup, passed installation option where they ask me to provide email address to be informed of security issues. I selected 'Create and configure a database'. And in the next step where they ask for type of installation I chose 'Desktop Class'. After I clicked on 'Next' the installer just closes and installation is stopped..
Any idea what might be the cause? I have the rights, I am using a clean new laptop, WIN7 64 bit, installed JDK.
Oracle 11G Express Edition is officially available on 64-bit versions of Windows (Finally!).
Oracle 11G Express Edition Download Page
If you purpose is some developing/testing/learning why not use pre-built Oracle VM images? You just need to install Virualbox and download the image file.
I quote:
Because Express edition doesn't work on win7.
It actually works.
Just right click on setup and click "run as administrator". Ignore any error message.
It worked on win7 64bit and Windows Server 2008 R2 (of course 64bit).

Missed "instance configuration" step during SQL Server 2008 R2 installation

I have strange problem with installation of SQL Server 2008 R2. I am trying to install on Windows 7 x64 OS and there should be step named "Instance configuration". It's missed in my setup, after installation SQL services exist in system but there is no instance of server. Image of SQL Server 2008 R2 I downloaded from MSDN. I tried with Enterprise and Developer version with same result. Has anyone similar problem? What could cause that? I looked for some solution in web, I tried to uninstall all SQL items from 'Add/Remove Programs' and to clear registry - doesn't help. I will be very grateful for any tips.
Best regards
I've had a number of strange issues with SQL Server 2008 including that.
In my case it was on Windows Server 2008 x64 where I had the issues but I guess it would be a similar thing.
In my case it depended on my user rights, if I logged on with my credentials even though I am part of the Administrators group I had a number of different issues.
When loggin in as the built in Administrator it worked fine.
Launching installer as "Administrator" worked for me.
