How can I make my tile open up the wireless toggle menu? - windows-phone-7

As a small test app I want to create a app that creates tiles for wifi, bluetooth.
By clicking one of these tiles its windows phone menu should open? There are alot of these apps in the marketplace, but how do they bypass their own app?

Use ConnectionSettingsTask and fire it automatically after launching your app. You can choose which Connection Setting will be opened using ConnectionSettingsType enumeration.

Open Microsoft Edge while running app in Hololens

I want to open Microsoft Edge while running an app with the HoloLens. In my particular case, I'm developing a simple 2D app in Unity, where the idea is to press a button and open a pdf file, image, etc. Currently I've managed to open these files with the WWW class by pressing a button, but everytime I do it the app gets closed...
Is it possible achieve it? what would I need to implement in order to do it?
Thanks in advance!
To open EDGE or the default web browser you can use Application.OpenURL
https://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/Application.OpenURL.html
In any case your app will go to the background, In case you need to show a website inside your app you will need to use any Plugin/Asset like this one https://github.com/gree/unity-webview that sadly doesn't support Windows.

iOS 8 Extension

In iOS 8 is it possible to invoke extension menu from a button on website (i.e. using javascript) in safari ?
I am able to invoke the extension menu from a password field in one of my iOS APP. Like in image below.
http://blog.agilebits.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Instapaper-1Password-extension.png
I want to do the same when i open my website in safari. So when user selects 1Password button from website page it should open this menu or share menu with 1Password extension. Not that user go and select share menu then 1Password.
This is not possible in Safari currently. What you are seeing in the Instapaper application is only possible using iOS SDK.
If you write a thin app around your website, this is also possible. You can signal from Javascript to your app that you want the activity used, and when the user finished, signal your website the information with Javascript.

Is it possible to make a mobile website work as a native app in windows phone?

I saw using IPhone or Android, it is possible to add a website to the desktop or start screen and this will make this website work as a native app which will open without the browser frame.
Is that possible using Windows Phone and how?
No.
You can pin a website to your howe screen but htis will open in Interenet Explorer when launched

Blackberry and Windows phone 7 publishing of trivial app

We have a mobile version of our web site which works well on all mobile screen resolutions and sizes. Now, we would like to build a very simple app for Blackberry and Windows Phone 7. The app would be trivial - after you click on its icon, it opens a web browser and send you to our mobile web site. Just like a Windows OS shortcut that you place on your desktop.
Can you tell me if Blackberry and Windows Phone 7 policies allow such app be published? For example, Apple rejected us.
I can't speak for Blackberry, but Requirement 2.10 from the WP7 Application Certification Requirements:
Your application must have distinct,
substantial and legitimate content and
purpose other than merely launching a webpage.
So the answer seems to be no on the WP7 marketplace. Is there a reason you want to create an app like that anyway? On WP7, users can pin a tile to their home screen that will launch the website they've pinned. You could simply encourage users to do that on their WP7 and you'll get the same effect (except your site won't appear in the app list).
Seems this is okay for BlackBerry. See section 4.b of the App World FAQ.
Very strange. Our company has placed a similar application on Android Market and the Appstore and they have been resolved and now they available at stores. Also, I had a similar application for Windovs Phone, and it was also allowed.
P.S. Our application is not just a browser window, it has custom control panel in bottom. Also it has the communication protocol with the site - such a sending pictures from camera and phone and access to phone contacts.

how to dynamically invoke web service at runtime to window Phone 7

Window Phone 7 application in XAP file to run dynamically another window Phone 7 Application.
This feature is called "deep linking", it will be available in the next release of Windows Phone called "Mango" (coming in Autumn 2011). It will both work from within apps and from the home screen.
From http://www.digitaltrends.com/
The coolest new feature Microsoft showed off today was the ability to create a Live Tile (shortcut) not just to an app, but to a single page or feature within that app. This feature is great. As an example, Belfiore went into the Amazon shopping app for WP7. He doesn’t like having to open up the app and go through menus to get to the barcode scanner, however. So right in the menu was an option to pin that exact app page (the scanner) as a Live Tile on the Windows Phone homescreen.
I would say that MarketplaceDetailTask is the closest API that matches your request. You cannot nest the execution of one app inside another.Refer this Link:
