I am trying to install Microsoft Visual studio but i am constantly getting an Error 1317
I Tried using Error 1317 Repair Tool but it was not free.Is there any anohter way to fix this??

It was error due to some registry files were corrupted.I simply formatted my computer then installed Visual Studio.

I installed Visual Studio 2019 but when I open it this error occurs:
"The application has failed to start because its side-by-side
configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or
use the command-line sxstrace.exe for more details."
When I try to repair the visual studio this error occurs:
"Error-2146233033: Package is corrupted
Couldn't repair Microsoft.NetCore.TargetingPack.3.1.3.1.0"
I had the exact same issue and I tried the following.
Repair the Microsoft C++ redistributable versions on your machine.
Versions from 2013 onwards have this option by right clicking on it.
For version 2010 and older download the respective version from the MS website.
(This did not fix the issue for me)
Uninstall C++ installations and re-installed them.
Uninstall VS2019 and re-install it.
For me the above approach worked, but I cannot be certain which part fixed the issue.
Recently started using Visual Studio 2012, converting SSIS packages from 2008, and seem to be unable to set breakpoints in Script Tasks. The error we're receiving says
Cannot start debugging. Pre-debugging negotiations with Host failed.
Cannot seem to find any information about this error, or what's causing it. There is also a brief flash of a dialog box that says
Visual Studio has encountered an unexpected error
but that disappears quickly.
This issue has been resolved. The input parameters were set incorrect and hence was failing. It has been fixed now
I think you install new version of Visual Studio you just have to uninstall the Visual Studio tools for Application for the new version then repair the Visual Studio tool for Application 2012 and every thinks will be good
No matter what I do, with the Windows forms C#, I'm constantly getting this error

I fixed this error by scrapping Visual Studio 2013 and installed Visual Studio 2015 RC. It's not really a fix, but it resolved my issue.
I tried installing MS Visual studio 2012 but it always gives the same error every time. I have attached the screenshot and the log file as well. Please any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

I had this error. Turn off antivirus and clear out as many files as you can from the %temp% directory. Worked for me.
