MS VS 2010 - Web one click publish toolbar is disabled when code file is viewed - visual-studio-2010

I use VS 2010 and the deploy function and to get quick access to the functionality I showed Web One Click Publish toolbar. But the toolbar is only activated when I open Web.config files or when I open Properties of a web project. When I open C# code file that toolbar is disabled. I think the functionality should be enabled independently like for example functionality Build project.
Is it something wrong in my VS installation or configuration?

I've just found that it is disabled when code file being viewed (active) does not belong to Web project (but to other one instead that cannot be published).

.NET core - Publish page not showing on VS 2019 (version 16.3.4)

Since I updated Visual Studio Professional 2019 to latest version (16.3.4), I'm not able to publish my .NET Core console app to a folder anymore (I'm not using online services).
I used to right click on my executable project, click on "Publish" menu item, configure my publish profile in a dedicated window and then, of course, publish. This configuration was saved in a XML file in <myProjectFolder>\Properties\PublishProfiles\.
Now all I can see when I click on "Publish" menu item is the following empty page, from which I can do nothing, neither configure a publish profile nor actually publish.
Is there a way to fix this?

Browser links are not showing in Visual Studio 2013

I am using Visual Studio 2013. I don't no what happened to VS,now it is not showing Browsers list. How to overcome from this problem please suggest me.
Include screenshot of the project / solution list. I believe somehow you are opening a .csproj project file for a non MVC application even though it has all the code files that look like a MVC application. For instance someone may have created a windows form application and imported all the MVC / .cs files from a MVC ASP .NET project.
If you included that screenshot we could see the icon next to the project to rule that out as a potential cause.
Alternatively you can try reset your visual studio 2013 settings by doing the following:
1.On the Tools menu, click Import and Export Settings.
2.On the Welcome to the Import and Export Settings Wizard page, click Reset all settings and then click Next.
3.If you want to save your current settings combination, click Yes, save my current settings, specify a file name, and then click Next.
—or—
If you want to delete your current settings combination, choose No, just reset settings, overwriting my current settings, and then click Next. This option does not delete default settings, which will still be available the next time you use the wizard.
4.In Which collection of settings do you want to reset to, select a settings collection from the list.
5.Click Finish.

Can't debug dynamically loaded silverlight applications (xap file)

I have a solution which contains multiple applications. In the 'root' application I read a config file, download the xap files and load them using some class System.ComponentModel.Composition.Hosting.DeploymentCatalog .
The problem is that I can't debug these dynamically loaded applications (the web project, I can debug the Silverlight client). Visual Studio says the breakpoint will not be hit, displaying the exclamation mark inside the yellow triangle. If I copy the dll+pdb files to root application's output folder than the breakopints become colored in full red but they still aren't being hit.
Any solutions? Thanks!
Answering my own question:
I was able to debug my web project in Visual Studio 2010 by following the steps:
Web project -> Properties -> Web section -> Select Don't open a page. Wait for a ....
Start 'root' application in normal mode.
Right-click on web project -> Debug -> Start new instance.
That was it!
Go to Properties inside the Website project, click on Web tab at the left side, you will find Debuggers section at the bottom. Try checking ASP.NET radio button and uncheck Silverlight radio button and see whether you are able to debug the Web project or not.
If still this doesn't help, try unchecking Disable script debugging option in IE > Tools > Internet Options > Advanced

Default Browser- Visual Web Developer Express 2010

I am trying to debug a Windows Azure WebRole which is an MVC3 project, but I want it to launch in any browser of my choice.
The Windows Azure is set as the Startup Project and launches the MVC3 project WebRole.
I am using Visual Studio Web Developer Express 2010.
I have previously stabbed in the dark by setting the following properties as in the image below but to no avail:
I then decided to set the project to not independently launch a page as above.
Is there a way to setup a default browser with the above scenario AND without changing my Windows default browser?
I've gotten around this in the past by adding in an ASPX or HTML page to the project and then right clicking it and selecting Browse With. You can then change the default browser in there without having to change your default browser within windows.
I haven't tried this with the Express edition however, but I don't see why they wouldn't include it in there.
You can delete the file afterwards and it will still retain the setting.
How about this:
WoVS Default Browser Switcher
http://visualstudiogallery.msdn.microsoft.com/bb424812-f742-41ef-974a-cdac607df921
You right on the page shown in solution explorer and then browse with whatever browser you want to set and add it as default browser.

Visual Studio Intellisense works in Class Library but not Web Project files

I'm not sure how this happened as up until this morning my Intellisense was working fine in Visual Studio.
Now, however, I have lost Intellisense in my web project's files. Also, I don't see the little toolbar at the top of the window that allows me to select objects and controls
i.e. This one:
I did notice however that Intellisense and the controls selection toolbar works in my class library.
Any idea how to fix this?
I've read somewhere about setting the Build Action of my web project files to "Compile", but I cannot find a BuildAction property anywhere.
Right click on your web project, Select "Property Pages"(Shift+F4) and Click on "Build" You will see a check box "Build Web site as part of the solution". Make sure that is checked. I would also check if there are any projects that are not loaded in your solution and also restart VS and try loading the solution once again. See if you still face this issue.
