Keeping one Tile Constant in a Wrap Panel - windows-phone-7

Is their anyway of keeping one tile at a constant position in a wrap panel and having all the added items (currently implementing through a listbox, so listboxitems) wrap around this item.
For example, having the blue tile constant regardless of how many items, with every other tile wrapping around it.
For example:

*Edit #1
I've been looking into custom panels. Maybe i could add a field that if true, would allow for the absolute positioning of an element? Still need to understand how exactly the wrappanel wraps its elements.
*Edit #2
Just realized that idea wont work either. since the attribute of whether the item should have an absolute position would depend on the item itself and so it would require another container, like a "WrapPanelItem" of some sort to define that. Ugh lol
Edit #3
I can maybe set the "Tag" attribute of the children and have a custom Wrappanel check this attribute of the child. If it equals a certain value, it wont adjust its position? But then how do i set the initial position?
Edit #4
No luck with the previous idea.
Edit #5
So i'm attempting to make the custom panel again, but i have a few questions. When items are placed in a grid, how does the arrange method place the item in the item's desired position. I've looked and couldn't find such a property, so how then does the method know where to put the item?

Solved this by making a custom version of the "VariableSizedWrapGrid" provided in Kinnara's branch of the WP7ToolKit. (https://github.com/Kinnara/WPToolkit). It didnt work initially, as it wasn't checking if the entire block fit and instead than just the first unit of the block. If anyone is running into this problem PM me and il send you my updated control :)
O, and instead of trying to wrap around one element, i overlapped the element and had the elements wrapping in the background using the VariableSizedWrapGrid. This implementation was ALOT easier than what i was trying to do.

How do I change the visibility of multiple decorations in LabVIEW programatically?

I am trying to make a number of front panel decorations hidden in LabVIEW by the use of a boolean control. I have figured out how to do this with one object fine and have made it work with multiple items however it is not very elegant to say the least (see attached image). While in this case I only have 5 elements what if I had an elaborate front panel and had many more decorations I wanted to hide? There must be a better way to do this.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers
It works, just not very efficient....
As you might now you can use a for loop to iterate over array elements. What I would suggest is in the initialization code of your application put the controls of interest on to arrays, and when a user clicks a particular button iterate over those arrays to execute the visible non visible property node call on your decos and or controls of interest.

Is there an ng-repeat reorder drag and drop without jQuery

Anyone have some code to reorder a ng-repeat using drag and drop that does not require jQuery? (angularjs dependency only)
I've had good results with https://github.com/kamilkp/angular-sortable-view - it's brand new (first commit was last week!), but it's extremely easy to work with. You put an sv-root attribute on the element (probably a div) that's the ancestor of the ng-repeat you want to be able to reorder. Then you put an sv-element attribute on whichever element you're ng-repeating, and drag and drop is handled for you.
You can also optionally put an sv-handle attribute on some element (probably an image, or a Font Awesome icon) inside your ng-repeat, in which case that element gets used as the drag handle. You can also optionally set up "placeholders" (something that shows up as you drag to show where the dragged element will be positioned if you drop it right now) with an sv-placeholder attribute on whatever element is your placeholder. And finally, you can optionally specify an sv-helper attribute on some element to make that element the one that gets dragged. (So if the thing you want the user to see while dragging needs to be different from the thing they see inside the list, that's how you do it).
Oh, and both the sv-placeholder and sv-helper attributes can go either on elements outside the ng-repeat, in which case the same element will be used for every drag situation (use this, for example, if you want a blank gray box as a placeholder the way Trello does it when you drag cards around) -- or those attributes can go on elements inside the ng-repeat, in which case you have access to the local scope of that particular ng-repeat element (use this, for example, if you want your placeholder to be "the text of what I'm dragging around, with opacity 50%, and a dashed border around it").
The demos linked from the https://github.com/kamilkp/angular-sortable-view repo demostrate the usage pretty well, so rather than say more about it I'll just let you poke around in the demos. My personal experience so far has been very favorable.
Oh, and it has no dependencies other than Angular. No jQuery or anything else required.

How to create expandable listview in blackberry

i search a lot but no single link found for Expandable listview in Blackberry, i know how to create Expandable list in android ,if someone having idea about Blackberry Expandable listview than please help me.
The standard way to create List on BB is to use the ListField class. This class is extremely efficient but has a couple of drawbacks
All the rows have to be the same height
All the rows have to contiguous on the display
This makes it difficult to use this class to replicate the Android ExpandingListView.
To replicate this look on a BlackBerry device, I suggest a series of VerticalFieldManagers (VFMs). Use one for the whole list, and add to this another for each expandable item. If the item is expanded, add child list entries to the associated VFM, when not expanded, delete the child entries.
This approach will work OK up to a point - adding and removing Fields can slow down the BB device significantly if there are significant number of Fields on display. So if you have, say 20 items in the list, then it will be fine. If you have 2000, it will slow the device down significantly when you expand and contract the list (add and remove the child list items).
You can improve this performance, by making your list items (parent and child) as efficient as possible. I recommend reviewing the code that is used for the ListStyleButtonField that you will find here: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Development/Implement-advanced-buttons-fields-and-managers/ta-p/488276
Update
Just wanted to clarify why ListField does not work directly, and a possible work around.
The problem with ListField is each row has a specific height. To display the child elements you really need to expand the height of the parent item to include the children, which you can't do. So you can't just update the called back paint method (called drawListRow(..) in a ListField) to achieve this look. And the other problem, is that one list item on a ListField is focused as a single entity where as I assume you would want to select the children individually.
Instead, when expanding you can add additional rows, effectively inserting the children items in the list to be drawn. You will have to add these rows with a flag, so that your drawListRow(..) method knows to paint these as children. Reverse on deletion. Note that the children items have to be the same height as everything else.
Having attempted both, I have found the VFM approach easier to manage. I would only consider the ListField approach where the list was large enough to impact performance. And when it is that large, who is going to scroll through that number of entries on their BB? If you are getting to that number, then a paging mechanism would seem more user friendly.
if you mean BlackBerry Java SDK, then take a look at TreeField class.
UPDATE:
In this case the ListField would be the most suitable choice. Implement ListFieldCallback according to your needs and attach it to the ListField instance. When user clicks on an "expandable" list item, then just process this event in ListFieldCallback and repaint your list instance. Here is the tutorial on working with ListField classes.

Styling INDIVIDUAL cells in GAS FlexTable ...impossible?

It appears there is no way to style individual cells (to, say, change the background color of a header row, for example) within a GAS FlexTable. Is that correct?
The only methods I see here are .setStyleAttribute() and .setStyleAttributes() both of which operate on either the entire application or the entire flextable as the object.
Furthermore, I see no methods that return an individual cell or subset of cells from the flextable such as a .getCell() or .getRow().
Therefore, am I correct in concluding that there is no way at this time to set the style of an individual cell in a GAS flextable? (Sorry if the answer to this question is an obvious, “There is no way to do it.” But I figured I had better check with the experts first before giving up.)
setWidget is expensive
I pull out about 500X12 table in flextable and found use setText is at least twice times faster.
Then again, I also can not figure out how to change font size in flexTable while calling setText. The background, font color etc worked, but not font size.
Setting style to individual cell is done with:
method setStyleAttribute(row, column, attribute, value) - Sets a CSS style on a cell of this FlexTable.
You have to scroll down to the second occurence of setStyleAttribute on the FlexTable page. Since the HTML anchor is #setStyleAttribute for both methods you always get the first.
A getCell method would not be useful as a flextable cell is no widget.
There is also a setStyleAttributes(row, column, attributes) method ...
There is a very easy way to do this. Instead of using FlexTable.setText() to set the contents, use the FlexTable.setWidget() instead.
And you can add a label and style it however you want to and each label can have its own style

wp7 list Peel animation

I am using List Peel animation as described here. Its working as expected but now I want to add the similar effect on onItemSelectionChanged event of the list box. The only difference is that this time, I want the selected item to leave the page at the very last. How can that be achieved?

I think that Clarity's turnstile with feather transition might be what you are looking for:
http://blogs.claritycon.com/blog/2010/10/13/wp7-page-transitions-sample/
I can't quite remember how it works... but I remember it did act on individual elements - it tried to work like the start menu.
