at www.movylo.com we're trying to integrate Google Places. We let merchants create a mobile store and want to post the store via APIs to Google Places. IT seems we can't post more than name of direction, so not possible to send URL, phone number, ...Anyone can help?
I looked into the same thing in the past but it looks like the only items you can add are the location, name and type, at least for now that is.

I am looking for a way to retrieve a place_id with just a url to a business like so. I have the URL, which has a google plus ID inside the URL string, but I need the place id. I've tried searching via Google+ People:Get, which returns the business, but not the place id. I've searched extensively through the Places API for a solution, and have found nothing.
Is this possible through Google's APIs? They have two separate references and ids to the same place, and I'm not really sure why. I feel like it should be possible, and maybe I'm just missing something.
I am looking for business name, addy, phone number and business URL within the Google Places API. My test url string is https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/place/textsearch/xml?query=restaurants+in+Grand+Rapids+Michigan&url=true&sensor=true&key=MYKEY I'm not receiving phone number or Business website (URL). However the businesses that are being returned have that info in the google listing. I'm new to this and just trying to get a handle on how to do the search query.
Any help is appreciated!
I believe phone number and website URL are only available in Place Details requests. You would take the reference from the results of the textsearch and send it in the details request.
I'd like to do a best of application list. It is just a list with a title and an image.
I saw the MarketplaceDetailTask(); who take the marketPlaceId (marketplaceDetailTask.ContentIdentifier).
My question is, is there a way, knowing this Id, to get the image url of the corresponding app ?
I've done some research but nothing about an API or something to return this url.
There is no built-in API in Windows Phone to retrieve this kind of information. However, you can try querying directly the service used by the Zune client. This service isn't publicly documented, but there's a few blog posts explaining how to use it. For instance:

I'm developing a windows phone application based on foursquare API, here is a scenarios like this: A user is walking on the road with a phone. He uses my application to find out who just check-in (including strange's check-in) in foursquare around his location, is it possible to implement this request? Thanks!
A quick check of the foursquare API indicates that there appears to be a way to get just what you're after.
Simply get a list of nearby venues and then find out who is at each:

For a commercial website, I would like users to fill out a field with their shop name, and if the shop is found by google, fill out the subscription form (for example: phone number, address, logo, etc).
My question: is it possible to use this Api with that? I find that the terms of use are not clear.
PS : Sorry about my english :/
In short a few of the important terms of use are:
http://code.google.com/apis/maps/terms.html#section_9_1
You must not charge access to use your implementation of the Places Autocomplete API and it must be freely accessible to the public. Unless its part of a Mobile Application or you have a Google Enterprise agreement or obtained Google's written permission.
http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/places/autocomplete.html#requirements
You must show a "Powered by Google" logo with any data accessed using the Places Autocomplete API if you do no show this data with a Google Map
If the Places Autocomplete API responses contains Listing provider information it must be displayed to the user.
If your implementation adheres to the terms of use, than it is possible for you to use the Places Autocomplete API for the purpose described.
