ASP.NET MVC3: System.NotSupportedException: Specified method is not supported - asp.net-mvc-3

Hello I am Developing a ASP.NET MVC3 application and MYSQL Database accessed by entity framework. I am done with the deployment part and now i am trying to deploy it on GO DADDY server after deploying it so far every page is working fine but only in one page the following error is coming
Specified method is not supported.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
Exception Details: System.NotSupportedException: Specified method is not supported.
i have tried a lot searching to find the solution of the error please help me with this
following is the snap shot of the error

You happen to have a query that results in the DbApplyExpression node in the command tree. This node is typically translated to CROSS/OUTER APPLY construct in SQL however MySQL does not support CROSS/OUTER APPLY. Most likely you will have to change your query a little bit to avoid the CROSS/OUTER APPLY. Take a look a this msdn article for more details. I also found something at DevArt website that can be helpful

How to deal with `app_engine_apis` warning when updating app.yaml from go114 to go115

I recently updated my app.yaml from
runtime: go114
to
runtime: go115
because I was warned in an email that support for go114 was ending.
The service deployed fine but after it finished, I got the message:
Updating service [default]...⠼WARNING: There is an indirect dependency on App Engine APIs, but they are not enabled in your app.yaml. You may see runtime errors trying to access these APIs. Set the app_engine_apis property.
So I added:
app_engine_apis: true
And now the service won't deploy and gives this error:
ERROR: (gcloud.app.deploy) An error occurred while parsing file: [<snip>/app.yaml]
Unexpected attribute 'app_engine_apis' for object of type AppInfoExternal.
Looks like a catch 22. How do I deal with this?
Posting this as community wiki as it's based on #Joel's comments.
It looks like this is being triggered, since those APIs aren't enabled yet in go115, you might get a runtime error.
I would say that you should probably reach out to Google Cloud either in their Issue Tracker system or open an Issue in this Github Page so that they can fix this issue, as there doesn't seem to be any workarounds for this one.

Tool to validate a web.config

Is there a tool that I can use to validate my web.config? The reason I ask is that the file appears to be valid XML and IIS is complaining that file is invalid. No explanation or indication as to why.
Thanks in advance.

I have (eventually) found the answer: https://stackoverflow.com/a/41267673
Installing the URL rewrite module fixed my issue.
This answer addressses the immediate concern, but if you are looking for a general solution in powershell I have created a function that addresses this.
The full answer is here: how do i validate an IIS web.config in powershell
But the gist of it is you have to find all the "filters" and test each of them individually via Get-WebConfiguration

What is the GlobalIdentity and how do I set it in the FileNet web service?

I'm trying to upload a document into filenet via CEWS, but I'm getting this error:
“The unexpected exception is chained to this exception. Message was: com.filenet.apiimpl.core.GlobalIdentity incompatible with com.filenet.apiimpl.core.RepositoryIdentity“
Our Filenet people don't seem to know what that means. They've provided working code that basically looks the same as mine (but which I can't compile directly at the moment because it references parts of their project I don't have.)
So is the GlobalIdentity something I need to pass in through the web service? If so, how? If not, where is it configured?
Ok I finally spotted my mistake.
I had incorrectly set crt.TargetSpecification.classId to the name of the repository I was trying to use rather than to the correct classId.

WebMatrix 2 site problems on upload to host

I have developed a Web Pages 2 website for my company using WebMatrix 2 that includes a simple SQL Compact Edition (.sdf file) database. Sounds simple. Runs perfectly on my local development box.
However, upon FTP to my Web host, it's a no-go. The first error I received was this:
Server Error in '/' Application.
Unable to find the requested .Net Framework Data Provider. It may not be installed.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
Exception Details: System.ArgumentException: Unable to find the requested .Net Framework Data Provider. It may not be installed.
Source Error:
Line 1: #{
Line 2: WebSecurity.InitializeDatabaseConnection("Omniflow", "UserProfile", "UserId", "Email", true);
Line 3: }
I have searched and searched and searched the Internet, trying to find out what the source of this problem is and how to fix it. I haven't found the answer yet. I gather than apparently some needed assemblies/dlls are not being uploaded with the application. I have tried both FTP and the Web Deploy method with no fix.
Is this the root of the problem? And why does WebMatrix not upload all its dependencies? If it cannot, why is there nothing in the online literature from Microsoft--and it should come from Microsoft--or anyone else describing this issue?
Are you using one of the hosting sites listed on the Microsoft WebMatrix page: http://www.microsoft.com/web/webmatrix/ ? I know that when I deployed my WebMatrix site to a generic IIS server, it took some extra DLL's in the bin directory, and a couple of settings to be fine tuned before it worked.
While publishing check whether your have selected Database file( .sdf file ) or not.If not then select it and publish.
Hope it will work for you.
Ensure that you have all the SqlCE DLLs required for accessing the SqlCE database.
They should be present in the bin\, bin\x86\ and bin\AMD64\ folders.
You can try creating a new site using Site from Template -> Empty Site (ASP.NET) and checking the bin folder to see which all dlls are present.
If you don't already have them in your site, add them. That should solve your problem.

Validation failed in Entity Framework, ASP.NET MVC3

My application using ASP.NET MVC3 with EF4.1, deployed on IIS7. Recently I've meet an error when trying to save an entity to an existing database on the production server, but everything goes well on my development machine.
I tried to build deploy package in VS2010 and import that package in IIS7, also, I've tried to upload all the solutions and create an application in IIS7 manually, but both of the 2 sites come to an error when executing a function that saves an entity to the database.
Error message is pasted below, but the physical path in error message does not exist in the production server, it's a path in my local development machine. This makes me confused. Has anybody ever seen this before?
BTW, I've fully backed up my database and restored it on the production server, so all the databases are same.
I'm open to hear any advice.
Thanks
Cheng
