Cannot Upgrade Xcode App Crashes After IOS 7.0.3 Upgrade - xcode

I am in a world of pain so confused.
I have updated my ipad and iphone to ios7.
I have been developing with titanium mobile and when i open my project in xcode and trying to run on the device i now get this error.
No provisioned iOS devices are available with a compatible iOS
version. Connect an iOS device with a recent enough version of iOS to
run your application or choose an iOS simulator as the destination.
So after googling around i notice i am running xcode Version 4.6.3 (4H1503). So i thought i might need to be update.
So i went to the mac store found xcode and then clicked update, and i know get this error.
Xcode can’t be installed on “Macintosh HD” because Mac OS X version 10.8.4 or later is required.
So i done some more googling and now i am here all the links i find take me back to the app store where i get the above error.
Can someone please help, after updating to io7 version 7.0.3. My app now crashes so i need to debug on the device to find out why this is happen
Help
UPDATE
my mac is running Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63) and when i click check for updates i get this alert.
Software Update doesn’t have any new software for your computer at this time.

You need to upgrade your mac to the OS X Mavericks. Click the Apple icon on the top left and select "App Store...". Search for "Mavericks". Click "Free upgrade" (yes it is free :-). After that you will be able to upgrade Xcode to 5.x release.

Error downloading Xcode on macOS

When I go to the Apple app store and tried to download I got the below response, can I get any idea how I can bypass this issue?
Xcode can’t be installed on “Macintosh HD” because macOS version
10.13.2 or later is required.
It seems like you have old OS X. Try to download from the internet Xcode 3/4/5.
https://www.appcoda.com/how-to-download-older-version-of-xcode/
Read this about older versions.
To check your OS X:
Go to the left top part of the screen.
Press "About This Mac". Now you see your OS X and can Google for suitable xCode version.
You are probably running Sierra or less, You need to update you Mac OS X into High Sierra in order to update and use the latest Xcode 9.3.
Note: You could be running High Sierra but make sure you update to the latest OS X Release from App Store > Updates Tap and make sure its all updated.

Xcode 5.1 with new OS 10.10 Yosemite displays Cyan circle on screen

I have installed the developer preview of the new operating system Yosemite. Xcode 5.1.1 and then I did the 10.10 update. After performing the update and restarting, when I open Xcode 5.1.1 I get this cyan circle with a cross hair in side of it. I cannot move it around nor close it.
Is there anyone that knows how to remove it or is experiencing the same issue.
My screen shot is available at this link:

You're using a pre-release OS with a version of Xcode that doesn't officially support the OS Version so there is a good chance of you finding that things don't work as expected.
You should probably download Xcode 6 Beta 2 from the iOS/Mac Dev Centre and use that instead as it is designed for 10.10.
Xcode 5.1 is theoretically useless on the developer preview anyway as you cannot submit apps to the app store that have been compiled on a machine running a pre-release OS.

XCode 5.0.1 and iOS 5.1 simulator issue

After upgrading XCode to 5.0.1 on Mavericks I can't install iOS 5 simulator, it's removed from Download section... Is it only happening to me or does anyone else has similar issue?
Is it possible to install 5.1 simulator from outside of Xcode Downloads page?
Unfortunately, iOS Simulator 5.0 and 5.1 don't work on Mavericks. The reason for this is best explained by gparker on the developer forums (https://devforums.apple.com/message/911139#911139):
The iOS simulator does not duplicate some of the low-level parts of iOS. For example, it uses the host OS X's kernel instead of trying to virtualize the iOS kernel. The iOS simulator requires that these subsystems look sufficiently similar between the simulated iOS and the host OS X. When a new host OS X changes too much it can break old simulators. At that point somebody makes an engineering and cost decision to either update the old simulator or drop support for it.
Not the answer you and I were hoping to find. You could of course run Mountain Lion in Parallels for testing iOS 5.x.
I face the same thing when I installed the XCode4.5. Then I copied the SDK from my old xcode to the new xcode.
The SDK is located in the following path.
/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneSimulator5.0.sdk
/Applications/Xcode4.5.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneSimulator5.0.sdk
iOS Simulator 5.0/5.1 is available only on Mountain Lion. If you're running on Mavericks, you'll only see iOS 6.0/6.1/7.0.
iOS5 Simulator on XCode5-GM
Additional Simulators can be installed from Xcode -> Preference -> Downloads -> Components
However, in case of Xcode 5.x iOS 5 simulator cannot be installed since Mavericks doesn’t allows it.

XCode 4.2 not getting installed on my mac

I want to install XCode 4.2 on my mac. I have the dmg, but when I start the installation process, I get the file size as zero kb. Attaching the screen shot of the same:
Can anyone tell me what the problem might be???
The Mac version i am using is 10.7.2....
I have tried changing the install location, but it was of no use.
The installation process takes around 15 mins (although the size is zero kbas is in screen shot) and at the end, I am getting the message "Installation Completed"
EDIT:
For mac OSX version 10.7.2 (Mac OSx Lion), Do I need to download XCode 4.3. The dmg that I have got from one of my friend is titled "xcode_4.2_and_ios_5_sdk_beta_6_for_snow_leopard.dmg". Also, I have tried installing XCode 3.2.6 and it also is experiencing a similar problem.
what have you used for downloading?
The most of download managers downloads damaged files when Internet connection error was occured. The second type of managers stops downloading herein.
Don't use itunes if you can. I advice you to download xcode via torrents because they are protected from these downloading errors. Or at least try to download it via firefox because it stops the downloading instead of masking download erros.
I read the following in the Xcode Release Notes (developer account required) in the Apple developer documentation:
Installation
You can install Xcode 4.2 for Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard only if you have purchased an earlier release of Xcode.
Install or update Xcode through the Purchases or Updates panes.
If you purchased Xcode from the Mac App Store, the Install Xcode app is on the volume on which you installed Xcode.
To install Xcode 4.2 on another volume, you must delete all copies of the Install Xcode app from your file system.
Maybe the first point explains your problem!?
I have downloaded the new dmg of XCode 4.2 from apple developer portal (developement tools). Its XCode_4.2_for_Lion. And it has got installed without any problem.

Software Image Not Found (4.3.3 with XCode 4.0.2)

I've just downloaded and installed the latest version of XCODE 4.0.2. I've also just installed the latest iPhone OS 4.3.3.
Now I plug my iPhone in to run my app in the simulator and I get the following:
"xcode cannot find the software image to install this version."
What's this about?
The message "Xcode cannot find the software image to install this version" is not an error; rather it's a notification that the version of the iPhone OS installed on the plugged in device does not have a corresponding restore image for Xcode to use.
This may happen on a new Mac OS X installation (when no iPhone OS updates have yet been downloaded), or when your device contains a newer version of iPhone OS that's not yet available to Xcode (for example, a newly purchased device with a later version than what's on your Mac).
It may also happen if you install an iPhone OS on your device on one machine and then plug it into a different machine that doesn't contain the matching restore image.
This message does not prevent you from using the device for development purposes. The only effect is the inability to reinstall the OS currently on the device using Xcode.
You can check which software restore images are on your Mac (that is, have been installed either through updates in iTunes or as part of the iPhone OS beta program) by looking in ~/Library/iTunes/iPhone Software Updates/.
