I would like to zoomout the image from the flipView available in the GridProject of Win8 Metro App in C# XAML. I already have a scrollviewer but I would like to know if the user can simply double the image with mouse, so that only the image gets opened in a new page.
If so, it would be really great if you could suggest me how to proceed with it.
I followed this article Zooming into image in Windows Store appsSemanticZoom but it doesn't help.
Thanks in Advance!

I am developing an educational app that is made of multiple images. I am also new at coding and XCode. I wanted to know how to get my images so they respond to the gesture similar to the photos on facebook (swiping, min/max zooming, scrolling all on one image). I have the UIImage in UIScrollview.
Can I add all the gestures in UIScrollView or do I have to add each gesture separately? Because the app is made up of multiple png images do I have to connect each image separately or is there a method to implement one code for the entire program?
I am using Storyboard and have minimal coding.
If this information is already out there I would greatly appreciate some direction. I have tried to use "Basic Zooming Using the Pinch Gestures" from the iOS library with little success.
Check out this tutorial.

In this they go over exactly what your wanting, zooming in and out images and swiping. Pretty much you use UIGestureRecognizers. :)
I have made an application which displays Images and i have implemented pinch zooing, translating using Silverlight for Windows Phone Toolkit, GestureService it works perfect. but when am zooming the image or dragging the image it is not the image border/ boundaries. :(

I would like to create a tile (not necessary a hub tile, it may be a grid box) for my application. On that tile I want to display a picture and give it a moving effect like the pictures hub. How can I achieve this? Please guide me
In Windows Phone 7.5, you can't. Perhaps in 7.8? or 8? But not in anything we have currently.
I'm trying to replicate the input box shown in the image on windows mobile 5+
but i'm struggling for ideas!
So far the only things I have come up with (I haven't managed to make either work) were to either;
inherit TextBox and paint the textbox
background manually by overriding
OnPaint/OnPaintBackground
make the textbox background
transparent and position the
textbox over an image that looked
like the one in the screen shot
Has anybody done this or know of how this could be acheived?
Thanks in advance
OneShot
I gave up on this as I have moved away from windows mobile but found that it wasn't possible, due to restrictions in the compact framework, to do this with the existing textbox, you would need to create your own texbox control from scratch!
