Installation error visual studio 2013 in windows 8.1 - visual-studio-2013

I'm trying to do that for 3 days. And im tired of that. So wanted to ask you guys.
There is my log file http://codepaste.net/8nxdbb
and its the screen capture of my error.

Your log says:
Could not write value to
key\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper
Objects{432dd630-7e03-4c97-9d62-b99f52df4fc2}. Verify that you have
sufficient access to that key
Make sure your machine is properly elevated to administrator privileges, and disable all antivirus software you are running. Cold restart your machine before making the next installation attempt.

Error when trying to renew Visual Studio Community Edition license

I'm using Microsoft Visual Studio Community Edition 2013. My trial ran out recently and I'm trying to renew it by logging in. A window pane comes up for me to sign in and I enter my credentials, however I get the following script error:
Line: 4
Char: 16405
Error: Object doesn't support this property or method
Code: 0
URL: https://app.vssps.visualstudio.com/_static/tfs/20150123T002517/_scripts/TFS/Loader.min.js
After some rudimentary searching, it seems as if I'm missing a library. Has anyone experienced the same problem and knows which part of the code it's referring to? I don't want to go on a mad updating rampage.
I have been running into this problem for months. I do development on Virtual Box machines running XP, because it is small and easy to copy, and I have gotten this problem on some of the machines and not others. I thought it had to do with window updates, but I have that turned off, and I am still getting the problem on machines that just worked a few days ago. Unfortunately with XP you can't update anything or even go back to a previous version of IE.
Actually, it was the virtualization software itself. I'm actually using vmware not virtualbox (mix-up in the comments). Incidentally, vmware just released an update today and after installing it, I was able to log in.
By the way, it could've been the log-in itself. After the update, microsoft visual studio didn't even ask me to validate the software, but went straight to the ide. I saw by my user id, an exclamation prompting me to sign in, whereupon I was able to validate my install.

Visual Studio 2013 Ultimate timeout install

I get the following error:
This operation returned because the timeout period expired.
Any solutions?
I've tried searching, but nothing useful.
Thanks in advance.
I'm running Windows 8.1.
Try: Cancel Hyper-V instances of the Emulator (Virtual Machines) already running and possibly in a corrupt state.
Close Visual Studio.
Open up Hyper-V Manager; stop and remove any instances of VMs that are present.
Try: Remove/Disable third party drivers or software that may be interfering with virtual networking

Try downloading vs_ultimate_download.exe from here. Run it and it'll download all the files (this can take a while).
Then run vs_ultimate.exe.

Unable to run Visual Studio 2008 using Administrator account

I'm not able to run visual studio 2008 by choosing 'Run as a Administrator' it says 'Application Cannot start'. Any solutions please.
OS : Windows 7 64 bit
IIS 7.5
I've just come across a similar problem myself, where an external tool won't work when VS is run as admin. On my case, the tool tries to access a mapped network folder. Turns out that the mapping applies only for the non-admin login token. Does you VS happen to access a mapped network folder?
See: Programs may be unable to access some network locations after you turn on User Account Control in Windows Vista or in Windows 7. Link includes a possible solution.
BTW, the problem here is probably not VS-specific. Since it seems to regard Windows permissions, it should probably have been asked on ServerFault.

Can't Create or Save File to Network Share in Visual Studio

I'm not certain when this problem started occuring, but it was approximately a few weeks ago when I upgraded from Visual Studio 2008 to 2010. I am on Windows XP Professional. The share is on a server running Windows Server 2003. I have a solution which contains a web site (accessed via UNC path, network share) and some class projects that reside on my local workstation. When I open a file from the website, and try to alter and save the file, I get the following error:
" Cannot access this file. Check security privileges over the network drive."
I've checked privileges on the root folder and I do indeed have full control. Could anyone give me any insight as to what I could be missing?
Are you running Windows Vista or Windows 7 with User Account Control (UAC) enabled? If so, Visual Studio 2010 requires administrator permissions to do certain tasks, including IIS management and network share saving.
Try opening Visual Studio 2010 with the Run as Administrator command. Hope that solves your problem.
Turns out a sysadmin removed all permissions and user profiles from a chunk of servers and forgot to inform me. Thanks for the insight, all.

VS 2005 Install Problem

All
I have a VS 2005 install set, which when executed seems to run OK however right at the end of the process it responds with the error message:
The source '' is not registered on machine '.' or you do not have write access to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog registry key.
At which point it backs out of the install. The code in the install pack has had some alteration to it, but nothing that I would expect this sort of behaviour for.
Can anyone assist? Has anyone out there come across this situation before?
Kind Regards
Paul J.
The error indicates that the installation cannot create a a logsource in the Windows Eventlog. Does the installing user have Administrator permissions? If you are running Vista or Windows 7 you could try to run the installation with administrative permissions (right-click, run as administrator)
