Joomla 2.5 API Key error "This page does not load Google Maps correctly"

I entered the billing information in my Google Cloud Platform account but the generated API key does not work on my Joomla 2.5.8 site with the included googlemap2 plugin. The message that appears on the map is: "This page does not load Google Maps correctly".
Many thanks!
Typically entering your billing information should fix any problem you have with maps. If it doesn't, then the problem is usually with the extension - if updating the extension doesn't fix it (or is not possible, because of your old Joomla site), then your 2 options are to: 1) update your Joomla website to the latest version (3.8.13 as of the time of writing this) or 2) modify the code in your maps extension to address the problem.

Remove article id from joomla 3.4.8 url

After upgrading my site to Joomla 3.4.8, my URL is showing article id. It was not there before the upgrade.
Can anybody tell me how to fix this problem?
Please help!!
Thanks..
Joomla, by default, includes the article id in the URL in order to avoid problems with articles having the same aliases.
If the previous version of Joomla did not have the article id in the URL, then it might be that you have been using an extension such as sh404SEF and you're not using it anymore.
It might be also that you had a modified core as explained here: http://www.itoctopus.com/how-to-remove-the-article-id-from-joomlas-sef-urls , and the modification was overwritten by the update.

Need to change the database password for my Joomla site

Unfortunately today I got my Joomla 1.5 site hacked- the index.php has been overwritten and I've found as well a php script which does something nasty with the config.php file.
I've changed the FTP password, however since the config.php file contains as well the database user/password I'd like to change it as well. What is the right place to change it ? should I change it just in config.php or somewhere else ?
Changing the database password must be done via your hosting cPanel and then in the config.php.
Once you have done this, I would suggest upgrading to Joomla 2.5 as it is far more secure and has more features. You should also consider installing some security extensions. I answered a question regarding security which you can find in the link below:

Here is also another bit of information I added regarding why keeping your Joomla version up to date is a good idea, if you don't already:

how to make email templates in Joomla?

I want to make a email template to use in Joomla back-end. does it possible? how?
I looked up at Joomla docs and didn't find my answer. I use Joomla 2.5.7.
Firstly upgrade your Joomla version to the latest 2.5.x version
As for the e-mail template, you will need to install a component that allows such a feature, like a Newsletter component. I personally would recommend JNews, however more can be found at the following link:

K2 tag not working on joomla 2.5 backend

Hi after searching a lot I,m posting this question. When trying to add a tag in k2 item in joomla 2.5 backend, nothing happens. I have pressed enter and also tried with comma. I have tried with updating k2 latest version. But still same problem. I,m using ja_wall template, joomla 2.5. Also I,m getting this error after k2 upgrade
Model class cpanelModelCpanel not found in file
Can anyone help please.
This was a issue that was fixed in K2 v2.6.1. Alternatively delete the file ROOT/administrator/components/com_k2/models/cpanel.php. Which was effectively what the update did.
Also see this forum post on k2 for more info on the issue!!
I have the right solution. Go to phpMyadmin then to jos_k2_tags_xref and edit the structure. Set the ID as a Primary, (click on it) then go to edit the id row. Set "Default" as "None" or "Not Set" (I don't know how it is called in english but anyway it's the first possible selection) then check the "A_I" field (AUTO_INCREMENT) and then save. Now it should work :)
The problem was, ID of new k2 tags was 0 due to a wrong migration of k2 tables :)
This can also used to fix the same error when creating/copying/deleting k2 items if this cause problems.
