How to put ConEmu in context menu in windows 7, when click on folder to be able to choose Open in ConEmu?
Configure it like this:
Settings → Integration (or Settings → Features → Integration in older versions)
Set up the ConEmu Here group (don't misuse ConEmu Inside) and press the Register button.
These options are stored in the registry (Explorer related keys) and that's why these settings are not stored the ConEmu configuration, so the Save settings button is useless on that particular page.

In Windows CMD and Powershell, I don't see the tabs and Settings option.
What do I need to do to see them - thanks.
As a quick google search confirmed, you need to disabled Focus Mode :
Try pressing Ctrl+Shift+P to get the Command Palette, then find and select "Toggle Focus Mode".
Cheers

I was tweaking around with the windows command prompt customization settings and now i can't manage to restore it to default settings. Does anyone know how to get the default setting back? I've looked around on the web and cant seem to find a solution that works.
Windows 10 64-bit
Export HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Console before importing. I do not remember changing the properties of CMD but I would not be surprised that I did.
This is my user Default ntuser.dat loaded as a hive in the registry editor. I have edited it so it can be used for the current user (I changed the temp hive name HKEY_USERS\temp2\Console to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Console).

I have a Windows Wordpad (.RTF) file document that contains Website link like; www.domainname.com. Whenever I click on these links it automatically opens up on IE Explorer browser. How do I change the default link settings so that it automatically opens up with Mozilla Firefox instead of IE Explorer?
To change the default settings and to enable Mozilla Firefox to open Wordpad`s HTTP links:
Open Mozilla Firefox ->go to: Tools ->click on: Options, then Follow the Green highlighted regions on the snapshot.

How remove the "Firefox Developer Tools" from Firefox 28.0?
Is there a way or script or option in about:config to remove them permanently?
You can't remove them, because they are integrated into Firefox. Though various tools have a corresponding preference in about:config to enable/disable them.
Just search for devtools.*.enabled there and set all of the appearing options to false.
See also the thread about this in the support.mozilla.org forum.
Note: As long as the DevTools are not opened they don't use any memory.
The above doesn't work on Linux. Inspectors and all still popup.
[edit]. There isn't a way to disable this inspector, but with this extension you can disable shortcuts:
Keybinder:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/keybinder/
(Above is to replace Customizable Shortcuts by Tim Taubert, which is no longer developed/removed)
Config -> Shortcut mapping -> change > (find shortcut, disable).

Now that I've finnaly moved to doing some development/support work for Windows 2008 I find myself annoyed by the lack of one feature I just can't enable: the desktop shortcut to "My Computer" I've grown used to. I know how to enable this on XP and 2003, but I just can't find the setting on 2008.
How can a user configure which desktop icons (My Computer, My Documents, Recycling Bin etc) on Windows 2008 Server?
Right click on the Computer menu item on the start menu, and select 'Show on Desktop' from the context menu that pops up.
Create a Registry Editor file (.reg file) with the following content, and import it into the Registry:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\HideDesktopIcons\NewStartPanel]
