under Demo Gallery i've a small gallery running - using the jQuery Plugin Galleriffic.
I developed it in chrome locally. There everything works fine.
But when i upload it, in Chrome are no pictures shown. That's really strange, because safari, firefox, ... are showing it as wanted.
Can anyone give me a hint what's the problem here?
ok now i found the error..
it was only adblock...! after disabling it, it works fine!
adblock thought my pics are ads, because they were in the folder "ads". Stupid error on my part.
I found a bug with the SoundCloud embed. Randomly, the sound does not start on Firefox (3.6 to 12)
Everything works fine on Google Chrome or Internet Explorer.
You can see it here: http://clichesdecampagne.franceinter.fr/story/nous-sommes-le-peuple-de-france#item-4f6b9b31da7f5cec3b45fd38
Any idea ?
Weird. I'm able to reproduce it on the site, but when embedding the same widget in another page it works fine. I'll forward it to our widget developers and see if they have an clue.
Folks,
I am using uploadify component (http://www.uploadify.com) in ASP.NET MVC 3. uploadify works fine with all browser (IE 8, Google Chrome). However, Mozilla Firefox does not display upload file button.
I have spent almost one day to troubleshoot and I still have not solution. Could you give some idea?
I just got a new computer and installed firefox (V8.0.1) yesterday. I've just experienced a similar issue (i.e. not seeing the uploadify button in firefox, though I do in chrome - both in the site I'm developing and http://www.uploadify.com/demos/). Using firefox I've browsed to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/. There I'm told "For your safety, Firefox has disabled your outdated version of Flash. Please upgrade to the latest version.". I've upgraded the version of Flash and now when I visit the uploadify demo page I can see the "Select Files" button, as expected.
Install adobe flash player...it will work properly....
When I open my website on IE9 the images simply dissappear. It works fine with IE7, IE8, Firefox, Chrome and Safari.
What is the problem?
The images are declared as:
<img src="http://www.mywebsite.com/images/image1.jpg" alt="alternative text">
Thanks in advance! :S
If you have Kaspersky or other antivirus software programs installed, they sometimes block images from loading in IE but not chrome.
For example, the anti-banner protection in Kaspersky today kept a few of my website images from loading. I added it to the exclusion list and they popped right up.
Thanks for your answers everybody, in the end all was working properly. The only problem was that I was testing the website via the software IETester, and for some reasons the simulation it did not display the images. Later on I upgraded to IE 9 and all images display correctly.
