I find many articles with multi-image and plugins:
https://github.com/blueimp/jQuery-File-Upload
https://pypi.python.org/pypi/django-multiuploader etc.
But I don't know how use it in django admin when I have ImageField. I want to do gallery.
Now I have inline adding image in albums. Please help me and give some full example :) (I'm newbie)
We use django-jfu to upload many files outside the admin.
Interfacing to the admin is certainly possible by creating a custom admin method to invoke jfu. Add a completion button to the jfu upload page that creates the desired db records when the user is done uploading files. These would then be available within the admin.

I run a little lektor blog and want to add a number of pages that I created using a python script. However, after copying the created content folders with their resp. content.lr files into my blog folder, those new pages do not show. Is there an API way of adding pages? Or do I have to use the admin UI to add a page? Didn't found anything in the docs so far.
I’m a newbie to Joomla and I want to add an image slider to my Joomla site.
When user click on an image in the joomla page, it should redirect to the backend web application (which is a JSP/Servlet webapp running in tomcat) with several parameters specific to that image. These parameters need to store in joomla along with the images.
1) I have to create a custom form in Joomla to upload an image and other parameters. But also I have to display the already entered records and allow user to edit/delete them.
2) These uploaded images should display in the image slider with their parameters.
Can anyone advise how should I approach this?
I created it my own way. Hope this helps to somebody.
I created a component of a grid with a form using component-creator. This is a free tool which is very useful in Joomla component generating. ( Or you can be a paid user for advanced features)
Then I installed the component and upload images with their parameters.
Then I created a custom module for image carousel. Details for these images were taken from the mysql database. I used jCarouselLite for the image slider.
Thanx :)
Ok so I’m trying to implement social media into the footer. However, they are images that change color when hovered over that I’m working into the CSS.
But my question is, if the end user changed their Facebook URL, how will they update the url? I obviously can’t just put it directly into the theme because then the end-user will know how to program and where to look just to change the URL.
How do I go about implementing this the right way so the end-user can update their social media URLs to their Facebook/Twitter/YouTube/Etc easily..?
What do you mean by saying "user changed their Facebook URL"?
You talking about customer or administrator?
If you mean administrator, then the you can create custom settings for social media links
For customers store theirs social uids
In order to do this, you will need to create an extension, albeit not a very complicated one. If you've never done this before, Alan storm wrote an excellent tutorial.
One file that is often included in extensions (but seems not to be mentioned in the above mentioned tutorial) is etc/system.xml. This file lets you define a new page in the System->Configuration section of the Magento admin panel. Magento provides a good tutorial on writing those.
Any fields you put in etc/system.xml will be modifiable in the Magento admin panel, and you can access them anywhere in your code with Mage::getStoreConfig('your extension's name/the name of the field'), e.g., Mage::getStoreConfig('facebook/enabled');
Hi i'm new to codeigniter.
I have developed this website using CI.
http://maxmovies.in/fattto
Now i want to create the admin panel for this website.
I want the url like this to access the admin panel.
http://maxmovies.in/fattto/admin/
First i thought adding a admin controller and proceed with that.
But my back-end will have around 25 pages.
I don't think adding 25 functions in the single controller is not
good idea.
I searched and got some tutorial but i'm not clear with that.
So can any one help me to config the admin panel for my website?
Thanks to all and sorry for if my english is not good.
create fattto/admin folder in controller view and module and set all code in this folder
when u write http://maxmovies.in/fattto/admin/ it open admin panel whatever code u write
You could organise your controllers into sub-folders, which would give you the desired effect.
The use of Routing could also help you achieve what you want, which will allow you to map a URL to a particular controller/method.
As a graphic designer, I am wondering if either:
there is a WordPress plugin that will allow me, as an administrator, to upload a client image and assign it to a user profile; or
there is a simple way to hack WP into doing what I stated in #1?
I want clients to have the ability to log-in once to my WordPress site, and to click on a "user gallery" page which will only show the images/graphics assigned/completed for them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Seems this plugin should work...
