I have my application installed on a Windows 7 Pos Ready computer and I've issues with the touch input. It just doesn't work and doesn't respond to any touches. If try to click things with my mouse everything is fine.
The CefSharp version I'm using is v79.1.360 and I use Windows Forms.
Does anyone have any pointers?
Thank you for your inputs.
I figured it out, basically the previous dev was using CefSharp Forms in a WPF project. I exchanged the implementation with CefSharp WPF and it started to work just nicely.
I'm trying to find Safari 8 for Windows as I am programming a website and I want to see if it all works properly in the Safari browser.
I got Windows 8 and the Application Server and the database both run locally on my PC right now.
Is there a way to test the website on Safari 8 without having a Mac or iPhone?
Thanks!
Latest version of Safari for Windows was 5.1.7, then they discontinued the Windows version.
But if you want to test how your website renders under Safari, you can use online emulators like Browserstack.
this is quite a strange thing I've run into.
I've been developing Windows Phone Apps for over a year now, and even with the WP8 switch i never seen this before.
If i take my WP 7.1 app and upgrade it to WP 8 the font gets quite messed up, shown in the two screenshots below. (Both taken from my WP8 Lumia 620)
WP 7.1 Version -
WP 8 Version -
Quite strange indeed, the font used is "visitor1 TT1 BRK"
from http://www.dafont.com/visitor.font
The font is set as a BlendEmbeddedFont and used in XAML like this:
FontFamily="/TronRadio;component/Fonts/Fonts.zip#Visitor TT1 BRK"
Is it a .NET 4.5 thing that needs to be set or some other kind of problem?
It is the first time I've seen this problem, i have upgraded other apps with embedded fonts without running into this.
One note is that the font shows up fine in the Design Workplace (Visual Studio 2012 and Blend).
However on the Windows Phone 8 and Emulators the above problems shows.
Thanks
Why don't you select the font in Expression Blend and then Embed it separately for Windows Phone 7 and 8 apps. This might help.
Microsoft recently done this update for flash in IE10
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2758994
after which our product, that was working fine across all browser stopped working totally in IE10.
We have a flash WebUI which connects to Desktop AIR App using LocalConnection class.
There are now exceptions and no information on this in web.
And product continues to work fine in all other browsers so that's not the code's issue.
The only similar issue that i found is here - http://forums.adobe.com/message/5103110
Has anyone else encountered something like this? or any ideas on how it can be solved?
I would very appreciate any advice
I am developing a mobile webpage for windows phone 7.
Please suggest me any emulator/simulator to test the page which occupies less memory, i try to install windows official emulator with the windows phone SDK, since it needs more system space, i dropped that plan.
is there any other alternative way to test the webpage in windows phone-7 browser?
Thanks in Advance.
Test it on IE. If it works on IE it will work on mobile. For the mobile related specs you need to get hold of the emulator in the SDK or get a mobile phone device.
i hope this page will be useful for you
