visual studio express hello word console application - visual-studio-2013

I'm starting to learn C# and trying to create "hello word" application in visual studio express 2013. According to this tutorial I should to do as below: "Expand Installed, expand Templates, expand Visual C#, and then choose Console Application.". However I do not see Console Application option. Any advise how to create new console project?

From the image, you have visual studio express for web
you will need visual studio express for windows desktop for the console application template
missing console app on visual studio question on msdn
visual studio for desktop link

If you have installed VS C# 2013 express, then the only thing you have to do is to click on the white paper icon in the top left toolbar and to choose Console application in the Window that appears Make sure you have marked the visual c# applications Box to the left

I have both visual studio and visual studio code.
Thanks for your help
You are using Visual Studio for Mac, which is quite different than normal Visual Studio for Windows. It was formerly named Xamarin Studio and you might get more useful search results if you use the old name.
To change the project type, you'll need to go to project options. Here is a documentation with screenshots on where this is located - it does not show F# project, but it will be in a simlar place.
Also note that you can reference System.Windows.Forms from a console application and use it there too - so if you cannot figure out how to change the project type, you can start just by creating forms from a console application - and then change the type later.

webtest file opens as xml in visual studio

I am using Visual Studio 2015 Community. I am doing GettingStartedWithLoadTesting. I am trying to open the SampleWebTest.webtest file but it opens as xml. It does not open how it did on the school computer. I think the school computer has Visual Studio Enterprise. I tried "open with" but there was no option available for Load Testing Editor.
Any help appreciated.
If you install Visual Studio by WebInstaller, you can miss "test components". You can always add it. Just start the installer again and pick "change" for your version of visual studio.
Visual Studio community does not support Web Performance and Load tests. For those you need the "Ultimate" or "Enterprise" versions.
The trial version of Visual Studio Enterprise can open .webtest and .loadtest files, but there are restrictions on the run-time features of these test types.

Visual Studio debugger showing variables with memory address instead of value

I recently moved to a new PC, and my visual studio is now showing all variables in some sort of memory address mode. Normally I would just see the simple properties and values. I can't figure out how to turn this off and get the standard view.
Visual Studio Screenshot
Aw dude, so simple:
Close all instances of Visual Studio
Right-click on the Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 shortcut and go to its Properties
Go to the Compatibility tab and uncheck "Run this program in compatible mode for:" and say Apply
Now start Visual Studio and open the project. You should be able to debug it.

Where can i find out the "Convert to Web Application" option in Visual studio 2010 Premium

Where can i find out the "Convert to Web Application" option in Visual studio 2010 Premium version.I have a website which i want to convert to Web application.I right clicked on the project int the solution explorer and could'nt see that in the context menu.I have Power commands extension installed too.
I use MS Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate which has all of the features of Premium, I also see that this menu is missing.
I suggest that you make a new ASP.NET web application with the same name and copy the resources of the Website to the resource folder of the web application, and load the resources as existing items.
