Warp framework automatically converts theme for RTL. How disable it? - joomla

I use warp framework 7. After developing theme for persian (rtl language), I had to install joomla language pack for persian. When i activate it for frontend, warp framework converts every 'left' to 'right' and every 'ltr' to 'rtl' automatically in less files while compiling to css. But i don't need this feature now!
Can i disable it? How?

I have found the solution. just should edit this file:
TEMPLATE_FOLDER\warp\systems\joomla\src\Warp\Joomla\Helper\SystemHelper.php
I changed $this['config']['direction'] = $this['config']['direction']; to $this['config']['direction'] = 'ltr';.
This will disable auto converting everything in RTL activated sites.

How to handle Namespace collisions when using TreeView in UWP apps

An exception is thrown when setting "ItemContainerStyle" to "StaticResource TreeViewItemStyle" which is defined in generic.xaml. The message indicates the style is using "Windows.UI.Xaml.Controls.TreeViewItem" rather than "Microsoft.UI.Xaml.Controls.TreeViewItem".
I removed ItemContainerStyle assignment to confirm that it is the line causing the exception.
<ControlTemplate TargetType="muxcontrols:TreeView">
<muxcontrols:TreeViewList x:Name="ListControl"
ItemTemplate="{StaticResource TreeViewItemDataTemplate}"
ItemContainerStyle="{StaticResource TreeViewItemStyle}">
The problem seems obvious, but a proper solution evades me. To leverage the style, do I start prepending "muxcontrols:" in the generic.xaml file? This seems like a bad idea. Do I need to recreate the style and behaviors separately?
I tried (min build 17763 and target build 17134) to eliminate version problems, but it seems I need 17763 for both. Even though, I am not setting ItemsSource. I'm trying the technique used in the docs: "learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/uwp/design/…" for the Music Library TreeView sample. My real project's min version is 16299.
So, the issue was clear. The TreeView control is introduced from build 17134. If you're using the platform APIs, you need to make sure that your project's target version is 17134 or higher. Since you said you want to set ItemsSource. ItemsSource and its related APIs require Windows 10, version 1809 (SDK 17763) or later, so you need to make your project's target version is 17763.
Then, you could directly use the TreeView control like the following:
<TreeView></TreeView>
If you're using Windows UI Library APIs, you need to follow the Getting started with the Windows UI Library
document to download and install the Windows UI Library. Please note:
Important: To use WinUI 2.1, your project’s Min version must be 14393 or higher and the Target version must be 17763 or higher.
Then, if you want to use the TreeView control in WinUI library, in your XAML page, add a reference at the top of your page
xmlns:controls="using:Microsoft.UI.Xaml.Controls"
On the XAML page, you could directly input the following:
<controls:TreeView></controls:TreeView>

Testing Firefox Add-on/Extension Internationalization

I have created a Firefox Add-on using jpm and I have added a number of localization files such as:
locale/da.properties
locale/en-GB.properties
locale/en-US.properties
locale/fi.properties
And so on...
In my HTML files I use attributes to set these values, for example: data-l10n-id="ext_panel_heading_text".
I know the translations are working, because changes I make to values in en-GB.properties are reflected in my add-ons HTML page.
I've tried navigating to Options > Content > Choose... (under languages), removing English and adding another language (such as Finnish), however it doesn't seem to have an affect on the .properties file loaded by my extension. I also tried restarting Firefox after changing the language.
My question is: How do I test the different languages?
The language of Firefox is dependent on the activated language pack, or for Windows and Mac I believe it is hard coded into the build.
Language packs are available from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/language-tools/
The only way I know is to change general.useragent.locale to the locale you want to use (en-GB, da, en-US, fi) in about:configand then restarting your browser: that way your add-on should show localized texts.
As an alternative, you can use Quick Locale Switcher, which does the same but it's a little more friendly.

Is it possible to change the mmIenu width without SASS

Is there any way to change the menu width without using SASS? (I'm running Windows 8.1, and I can't tell you how much I don't want to install Ruby...)
I can change the width of the menu contents, but the mmslideout moves to the wrong place.
I believe you can override the .mm-menu class in your custom css file for the min-width, max-width properties.
Regarding SASS compilation, i would recommend using Libsass, it's an efficient C/C++ port of the Sass CSS precompiler.
Sassy Studio seems a pretty clean VSIX, and worked for me. (Eventually ;). I'm new to SASS.)

slow scrolling when using responsive bootstrap theme

I am using a bootstrap 3 template and have noticed on some that scrolling is not smooth and kind of bumpy. I am not even sure what to look for. This only happens in Chrome. It does NOT happen in Safari or Firefox.
Is this a javascript or css problem? I have never run across this before.
This seems to happen worse in Chrome for mac, but also happens in chrome for windows.
It seems to happen when I make the window smaller and then make it bigger again. If I leave the window the same size, it seems to scroll fine.
Link:
http://demo.phppointofsalestaging.com --> Click Sales then resize the window in Chrome and then scroll down and then up. You will notice it is very bumpy and not smooth
:root { scroll-behavior: auto; }
Add this simple code to your custom CSS file.
"scroll-behavior" declared as "smooth" in bootstrap css/bootstrap.reboot.css.
So we need to overwrite it using our custom css.
The problem is in the jquery.nicescroll plugin that is used with the theme, the function jQuery.fn.scrollTop make the problem, it takes more than 75% from the cpu when run. my solution is :
You are using the jquery.nicescroll plugin version 3.4.0 use the latest version currently version 3.5.0 available.
If not working as expected, downgrade to version 3.2.0 I'm using it with my site without any problem.
Also check that if the hwacceleration in the Configuration parameters of the plugin is set to (default: true).
Update 1:
nicescroll plugin is a solution to have a custom scrollbars compatible with desktop, tablet and phone devices and to override the default scrollbars of the browser " more information her ", "you didn't see the diffrence because the plugin used in your project works when your browser window under 767px" so another solution if you don't need it you can remove the plugin from your files by following this steps:
Delete the plugin file (jquery.nicescroll.js) from your script folder.
Delete the plugin link from all your files.
Delete the plugin function lines (21 to 36), (49 to 66), (149) from (unicorn.js) file.
Update 2:
I made some tweaks for the (unicorn.js), download it from her, then replace your original one.
Hope this will help you.

How to Integrate non supported fonts in WP7

I am creating a English to Mangolean Dictionary app; So i need to display mangolean word corresponding to my english word; i read from a blog that wp7 only supports limited language set. So how can i over come my issue. Please help me to solve this issue.
There's a tutorial on embedding fonts in Silverlight here: http://paulyanez.com/interactive/index.php/2009/12/embedding-fonts-in-silverlight/ The implementation for Windows Phone is exactly the same. The tutorial uses Expression Blend (which is part of the developer tools download and also free for Windows Phone), which is the simplest, quickest, and easiest way to embed fonts for Silverlight.
Apart from the supported Fonts you can add your on fonts to you project. For example create a folder named Fonts in you project and add you *.TTF files(Font Files). By referring this font files you can resolve your issues.
