i have one image button on page,on click event of this imagebutton i have called one ModalPopupExtender, having definition as
(Panel3 contains one gridview and one button whereas gridview gets filled in codebehind)
But when i click the imagebutton, for 1st time it displays Panel3 with only button for 2seconds and then page gets reloaded automatically and again Panel3 displays with gridview,why this is happning i do not understand
i need to do is, as soon as i click on ImageButton the popup should be displayed with gridview and button....please help me as soon a possible

I have a programming problem in Visual FoxPro, create a form that contains PageFrame with 2 Page.
1. On Page 1, Create a program to display data in the grid and give the sorting facilities, navigation and search.
2. On Page 2, create a program to calculate volumeTabung and spacious blanket.

Although this is not DOING the answer, but a simple guide.
In the VFP command window,
Create Form [whatever form name you want]
Once form is up, look at the toolbar for "Form Controls". Click on the "PageFrame" control and then click on the form... There, you have a default pageframe with 2 pages as a default.
The "Properties" window should be visible by default. Click on the combobox on at the top which shows all controls. Open the drop-down and you will see "Page1" and "Page2" of the page frame control. Click on either page, and that will bring focus to that respective page.
Now, click on the Forms Controls toolbar again, such as to grab textbox, label, combobox, whatever and then click on the page and your controls are there. Then get focus to the second page and do the same for whatever you want.
Save and run the form. This just gets you to see the controls and how simple to put them on. Actual pulling your data and populating is really more your "to do" list.
I would like to create a usual dialog window:
The user clicks a link or button
The screen becomes blackish, a new window appears (a DIV is created)
By using Ajax, the DIV is populated with a form.xhtml
By clicking on a cross in the DIV, the DIV is removed and the blackish screen too.
I know how to do some of this stuff with usual CSS/Jquery. However, I am lost on how the JSF link/button should call the Jquery code to create the dialog (because I am supposing that JSF cannot do it alone) and make the Ajax call to get the form.
I am not using auxiliary libraries.
In jqGrid, the edit form can be configured to [display or hide the previous and next navigation buttons][1].
I want to save the Form data to the Grid and Server when the user clicks on the navigation buttons.

I Have three records which I want to display in three Accordion Panes
which (every pane) will have a Header and a content ( Two label controls, 1 text box and 1 checkbox and 1 link button)
I am able to display data on the accrodion from database but when I am trying to Update the text in textbox by clicking link button the LINKBUTTON doesnot fire and unabel to make the update. How can we create Update event working ??
I am creating the Accordion Panes and Content controls statically and directly assigning the values to the controls from Code behind in Page Load.
I was able to do it using the "ItemCommand" event of the Accordion Panel by using the Command Name property of a Link Button which will update the Text Boxes.
It works for me now but I felt JQUERY will be a better option which has no postback, css issues..
In my program I have the main window in the background which has a smaller, UIScrollView on it. I have buttons on each page of the scroll view which I want to bring up a modal view that can be dissmissed. It works fine for the first page, however, when I click the button on the second page of the scroll view the modal view that is brought up is on top of the first page instead of the second and the second page is completely blank. When I close the modal view, the first page has been replaced with the second page and the second page is still left blank... The code I am using is:
MVC = new NewsModalViewController(this);
MVC.ModalTransitionStyle = UIModalTransitionStyle.CoverVertical;
MVC.ModalPresentationStyle = UIModalPresentationStyle.CurrentContext;
I've been trying to play around with the frames but having no luck...
Any insights?

I would rewrite the subpages to fire an event that the parent view listens to. Then, display the modal from the parent view (you can actually create the modal in the child view and pass it up on the event). This eliminates any problems with the modal being applied to the wrong context.
There may be another explanation, but this is the method I've implemented on a couple applications and has served me well. It appears that modals are best displayed only from the highest level view in the stack.
