Visual Studio - black line at the bottom in portrait mode - visual-studio-2010

I have a problem with a black line appearing at the bottom of Visual Studio. This happens only if I move the window to my monitor which is in portrait mode and only for VS. It doesn't appear for any other program. In VS2010 it's not such a big problem:
However in VS2013 it partially covers the status bar which is really annoying:
Has anyone encountered this kind of behavior?
Thanks for any tips on how to fix this.

Visual Studio IDE - strange suggestion

Sometimes my Visual Studio IDE tries to "help" me with this strange behavior:
(look at the red border and gray tooltip about Tab suggestion)
but in reality it's very annoying and I make more mistakes if I suddenly press the Tab button.
How can I turn off this sugestion / help of Visual studio?
It seems the problem is global. Vote here if you want Microsoft to fix it soon:
The red AI highlighting with the arrow and tab to replace is not working correctly

Visual Studio 2022 Color Messup

I'm having this issue with visual studio 2022 where the borders of the software are white when it's meant to be fully dark. The coloring of the text is normal however. And also, the option buttons like file, edit dropdown. Currently the only temporary fix is to restart my computer but it only works for one launch, after that launch it doesn't work again so it's an extreme hassle. Any help will be appreciated!

Visual Studio 2019 horizontal scrollbar on diferences

When I try to check changes using team explorer on visual studio 2019, if I open any file to check differences I cannot see horizontal scrollbar.
Is there any config I have to modify?
I answer myself:
The scrollbar is there, but it's only visible when the width is large enough. The tick and the "No problems found" message let too litle space for the scrollbar.
BTW, at first glance I feel like this version GUI of VS is worse than previous version. Just an opinion.

Blurry Icons in Visual Studio 2013

Is there a trick I can do to Visual Studio 2013 to get the icons to show up crisply?
I'm running my monitor at 1920 x 1080. I'm using the dark theme.
Here's a picture of what the Visual Studio team indicated would be our experience even on a resolution as high as 4k, which mine is not that high. If this was my ux, I would not have posted this question today.
Here's the same area of my screen. Notice the fuzziness around the edges of the icons.
But it's really bad over on the property grid. I mean the ones right above [+]Font.
An IDE can look OK on my monitor, so I don't think it's my monitor. Here's an equivalent area from Android Studio. The little icons to the right of "Component Tree" are crisp enough for my eyes to not notice any degredation.

VC6 on Win7, SourceSafe diff viewer doesn't draw text on the left pane (when maximized)

I recently upgraded my computer, and moved from XP to Win7. We have old VC6 projects which we continue to develop. But on Win7 SourceSafe's diff viewer behaves oddly, if it is maximized. On the right pane all the text is drawn, but on the left pane most of the text is missing - there is just gray background where there should be text.
When I move the cursor to those white lines, the text on them appears, but only on the line where the cursor is. One way to show all the text is to select everything in the left pane (like Ctrl+A). Has anyone else encountered this problem?
'Disable visual themes' on the application shortcut's 'Compatibility' dialog tab did the trick for me, even when maximized, as suggested by Cody Gray. That is the only compatibility option I changed. I had the problem, changed the checkbox to checked to select the setting, the problem went away.
Environment: Windows Server 2008 R2 with the Windows 7 Desktop Experience feature, Visual SourceSafe 2005.
