Today I encountered really new and strange problem during windows installation. I tried to install windows 7 on a Fujitsu Siemens notebook and on a step of installation I got an error :" can't install selected language". And after this installation fails.
I'm trying to install Russian language and I see such an error first time.
can anyone help me?
Once you try to install in English and if the same problem exists Install the OS from another DVD or another source.Then you change the language to Russian directly from Windows.

Hello, i tried to run .exe file PostgreSQL 14.2 version (download from https://www.enterprisedb.com/downloads/postgres-postgresql-downloads) and get this error like in the picture. I also tried to run a lot of versions (started from 10.2 and end 14.2) but getting this error. What should i do?
I was in trouble with the same phenomenon as you. But after installing windows update KB5011487 yesterday, the problem went away. Build No. of windows10(pro) is 19043.1586.
Whenever I run the standalone installer for Aptana Studio I get the following error:
Failed to Correctly Aquire installer_git_windows.exe file: CRC Error
I'm running Windows 10, I've looked online for hours and have found no solution.
I had this problem solved by installing the Git from http://go.appcelerator.com/installer_git_windows.exe.
I had the same error. I believe it still has something to do with the NodeJS.
I went to this site https://nodejs.org/en/download/ use the 32 bit version for Windows 10. Then installed an older version of Aptana https://aptana-studio.en.uptodown.com/windows/versions with the 3.4.2 and tada.. it worked. I don't mind the older version for now.
Rename the installer file to "aptana.exe"
Move that file to c drive
Open CMD in administrator mode Type "c:/aptana.exe /passive /norestart"
Press enter
After some process, a new exe file will be available on desktop which you can use.
It worked for me.
Simply download git from https://git-scm.com/download/win and install it manually before launching the Aptana installer and it will work.
I'm having the hardest time installing XAMPP on C:\Development\xampp on Windows 10. I would like my C drive to be as clean as possible so I'm moving as many dev tools to the Development folder as I can to achieve this. I get an error towards the end of the XAMPP installation about a problem running the post-install step. It then suggests I install Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable, which I already have the 2012 version installed. Originally XAMPP was installed on C:\ with no problems.
How do I install XAMPP to the above directory or any directory other than C:\?

I'm no longer on Windows so I can't re-test, but as I recall, the easiest way I managed this was to use the portable version of xampp.
Make sure to run the shell setup script so that it recognizes it's location properly.

I'm trying to install Aptana studio 3 on my pc, Windows 10. I download the setup from your link and then launch the setup, but after few seconds I have this error: "Failed to correctly acquire installer_nodejs_windows.msi file:CRC error".
After that the setup ends because of the error...how can I solve that?

I found that the solution posted in this post worked for me. I already had nodejs & msysgit installed.
I am trying to install MyEclipse 7.1 but I get the following error message:
"Could not create folder "C:\Documents and Settings\myPcName\Settings\Temp;C:". The filename, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect."
I am really confused by these error because i don't have any idea why is happening... it should be a simple install process...
On my pc I am also running an Eclipse 3.2 version... should i uninstall it ? I could not found it on Add/Remove programs.
I also installed jre 1.6 and the sane jdk.
Please if you have an idea about this, give me a hand...
You won't find it in add/install programs. Find the folder where you have eclipse installed and delete the entire folder. Thats what I did for mine. And then install it again.
