Editing RDL Files in Visual Studio

So we have a unique situation. I have 2300+ RDLs that we have in TFS that our team works on. These are deployed to 100+ different folders on the SSRS Server, and must stay that way as each folder is secured with it's own AD Group so users can't see each others folders/reports.
The problem with Visual Studio is that each folder has to be it's own project to manage the RDLs in Visual Studio. So my workaround is that I have a project in VS but then made my own folder with all of these RDL's and their own subfolder via Source Code Explorer. So when I try to edit the rdl with Visual studio it just opens it as xml and not the report designer. My work-around is that we associate the .rdl file with Report Builder, but I'd rather just use Visual Studio.
Any way to get VS to open the report designer this way? I am only interested in editing the rdl's this way, not using VS To deploy the reports.
You could try VS extension Microsoft Reporting Services Projects, which can be downloaded from website below:
https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=ProBITools.MicrosoftReportProjectsforVisualStudio
Or try the solution in case How to open .rdl file in visual studio :
In order to see a designer you need to give Visual Studio a bit of
context about what sort of file it is by making it part of a Report
Server Project.
Install SSDT for Visual Studio if you haven't already done so
Create a new project using the 'Report Server Project' template
Copy/move the .rdl file(s) you have into the folder for the newly created project (eg ..\Visual Studio 2015\Projects\My Report
Project\My Report Project)
Use the "Add Existing Item..." context menu option in Solution Explorer to add the .rdl to the project
Open report designer by double-clicking the newly added report project item(s)
There is one tool available in market IDSNext-Gen. The company name is Agnisys Inc.

DLL will not build for only one project in Visual Studio 2013 Professional

I am trying to build a project in Visual Studio 2013. There are no errors with the project but it will not build. There are several other projects in the solution and they are all building and push the DLL to the bin/Debug location just fine. This particular project suddenly does not. Any ideas? I have set Copy Local to true and verified the path for which it is supposed to push the DLL and it is bin\Debug.
Double check the following:
Open the Configuration Manager for the solution, verify that "Build" is checked off for the configuration currently being used.
BuildAction property is set to "Compile" for the source code file(s) in the project (look in the properties window when you have the source file selected in the Solution Explorer)

Not able to run Sitecore7.5 website through VS 2013

I have created an instance of Sitecore 7.5.Then create a blank VS 2013 (MVC) solution and copy the properties and .csproj file and put in wwwroot\SitecoreWebsite folder and open this project in VS 2013.
Now when I run this project from IIS it's running properly But when I run through Visual Studio Solution ( i.e. F5) it's started continuously loading and nothing happens.
What should I do now.

How to add an existing folder to a Visual Studio project?

I have a web application project made in Visual Studio 2008.
Well, I added a jquery folder and added it to source control and other such things. I forgot to add it to the visual studio project though. How do I add the existing folder now? I've tried just creating a new folder and naming it jquery but it gave me a cryptic error "the directory is already on the disk ... if you want to see this directory then check the Show All Files option in the project file" Yet I looked and saw no such option.
Is the only way around this to rename jquery to jquery2 and then create a new folder via visual studio named jquery and copy all my files into it?
With your project open in Visual Studio, click on your project. Then go to the "Project" menu and select "Show All Files". You should now see any directories or file that are in the directory of the project but not included in the project.
Then, right-click on the folder you want to add, and select "Include in Project" from the context menu.

Visual Studio 2008 Setup Project is not generating Setup.exe anymore

I have a Visual Studio 2008 Setup Project that when compiled in the past would generate a Setup.exe in the output directory along with the .msi output file. Now it no longer generates the Setup.exe which I actually do need.
Did I change a project setting without realizing? How do I get it to generate it again?
Try opening project properties, click Prerequisites button there and check "Create setup program to install prerequisite components".
This is for Visual Studio 2005, not sure if it works for Visual Studio 2008.
1, Go to file menu > click Add > new project >now “Add New Project” Dialog appear.
2.Select “Other Project Types” and click “Setup and Deployment” projects,Choose “Setup Project”give name project name in name text box finally click OK.
3.New project appear in solution explorer, for example you give the name “MyEXE”..it will display with this name.
4.right click the MyEXE > go View > click “File System”
5.You can see the “File System on TargetMachine”under three folders
Application Folder
User’s Desktop
User’s Program Menu
6.Select Application Folder and right click Add>Project Output>select Primary output
select User’s Desktop richt click on the second window>click create new shortcut>select output file from Application folder>change the file name from primary output name to MyEXE
next >>
same procedure follows the user’s program menu also
8.If you want to change the Manufactures name for exe, just right click the project go to properties
change the properties as per you requirement
9.Finally Build the new project After successfully Build the project myEXE(Setup) will be appear in Application Debug or Release folder(depend upon the properties settings)
EXE available # this location
When you want to install the EXE on the client machine, you should be installed .NET Framework on that mc because,Applications and controls written for the .NET Framework version 2.0 require the .NET Framework Redistributable Package version 2.0 to be installed on the computer where the application or control runs.
