Blender Human Animation - animation

It seems to be a fundamental problem, but I cannot find the answer.
What I want to do ultimately is to make my custom animation of human, from the model: http://tf3dm.com/3d-model/lex-luthor-23592.html
with .blend file
So I opened it within Blender, but I couldn't find any rigged bones.. (Although the tag implies it is completely 'rigged').
Therefore I was not able to set any POSES of this character :(((((
Can anybody help me please with a brief and short step-by-step answer? (It can be just a minor short-cut problem.)
p.s. the version of Blender I currently use is 2.73

You couldn't see armature because, it was hidden. You need press alt+h or press on eye icon to be open in red square.

Unity Sprite Editor: Can You Preview A Background Image While Setting Pivot?

I've Googled around a lot, and I checked the Unity Asset store but I cannot seem to find what I think is a common problem (or perhaps I'm doing it wrong).
The issue is when I use the Sprite Editor I cannot see a reference image which is useful for setting the sprite pivot.
When I open the Sprite Editor on a given image file, I cannot seem to add a background reference image:
I want to be able to see a background image (of a specific character for example) that I can position and then use that to set the pivot.
Do you know of any way to do this? Asset Store references are acceptable.
I found one for Animation pivot setting but not for static images.
Any and all suggestions welcome (if you have a workflow suggestion that mitigates this issue, feel free to suggest :) )
I found a free option that works well enough:

create a simple (and visible!) UI slider in Unity 5

![enter image description here][1]please I need some help, this should apparently be something very simple and basic to do, but maybe I'm missing something.
I'm quite newbie to Unity3d, I had no much problem with creating a somewhat flashy 2.D scene (I mean 2D with different layers in Z level), scripts, etc. But I'm having trouble to create a "UI Slider" object: when I create it, it just shows nothing on screen. How can I make it visible? I just need to create a very simple, plain slider whose value can be controlled at runtime by means of a script.
thanks.
Well.. since you give nothing to go on, I suggest that you take a look at a tutorial for the UI:
https://unity3d.com/learn/tutorials/modules/beginner/live-training-archive/using-the-ui-tools
If you have troubles after this tutorial, come back with an example of your problem to make people more willing to sacrifice their time in helping you.
Hope this is somewhat useful
Take a look at the Unity3D docs here.

It should have what you are looking for.

UI Theme Repository for Pharo?

I'm still pretty green when it comes to Pharo so apologies in advance for what might well be a pretty dumb question. I've already done a perfunctory google search and checked out this stackoverflow entry which didn't have the answer I need. I'm looking for a ready-made color theme that has a black background. Understand, I'm not just looking to change the wallpaper background color, I want the all the windows, widgets, and window contents (workspace text in particular) to be appropriately modified as well. I'm assuming someone somewhere has already done this, I just don't know where to find it (I can't be the only one who codes at 3am and doesn't like staring at the giant light-bulb that is my monitor!).
Welcome to here, David :).
pharo is still young and fast growing and there are not many themes. So Esteban Lorenzano is working on a dark theme based on InteliJ IDEA, and you can find it here: http://smalltalkhub.com/#!/~estebanlm/Pharo3DarkTheme, but it will take a long time until it's done.

How to crop only certain area using HTML5 + Javascript or server side language?

Before asking my question, I have a test page to make it everyone understand my question better. The URL is http://iamthemoon.com/crop/
You can move the red selection.
I like to crop only the area of red selection. I thought it could be done easily in HTML5 canvas, but that was my mistake. First I googled about it 2 days, but I couldn't find a solution. There are many HTML5 based cropping tools, but they only have square selection.
I then looked into PHP GD and imagemagick, but I couldn't find a solution as well.
I looked at the adobe online photoshop, but they're missing free-form lasso tool or free-form selection tool as well.
did anyone see a similar javascript/php/ruby/ or any other web-based technology?
or is this even possible?
just to answer to the question if this is possible.
I had to deal with same problem and took me a (full) weekend to solve it using HTML5 .
Have a look at a demo here.
Hope it helps.
EDIT:
Just a bit of pseudocode:
1.Draw the picture on canvas.
2.Record mouse clicks on canvas.
3.Draw a pattern using the mouse clicks coordinates
4.Fill pattern with original image.
5. Replace original image with pattern.
EDIT:
Source code released https://github.com/netplayer/crop
I'm working on the same subject. My idea now was to draw the opposite polygon(s) and make these transparent using imagecolorallocatealpha.
The polygon is then drawn with imagefilledpolygon. For the client side we will be using predefined images (thus predefined polygons in php). I have come across this as well: http://brittonkerin.com/image_region_selector/irs_demo.html.
Hope this helps somewhat.

use html5 to draw the line/ coordinates,
than just use clip() instead of stroke

Opengl Window with mouse control for win 32

I am new to OpenGl, almost new to C++.
I am looking for some code that does the following things.
Open an OpenGL window (maybe using glut)
Rotate the view point when the user press the left mouse button
zoom when the user press the right mouse button
translate the point of view the user press the central button
Basically what I need is a very simple graphics platform in which I will plot results coming from my algorithms. I have tried using the glut library and some code coming from the web, but no luck!
This should be a basic project, can you please point me where to find it. It just seems unreal to me that a so simple project turns to be so hard to find, but I have been googling for hours and no results.
I really appreciate your help,
thank you very much
You're asking for a fair amount of code there. Basic, but not insubstantial. Even if we do provide the code to do what you've asked, I'm not sure if you'll be able to use it to do what you want. The Red Book is a "bible" of openGL programming of sorts and will provide you with many of the functions and how to use them. I found the entire thing online here. Look into Chapters 1-3 for your drawing and rotating. Also, Lighthouse 3D has some great tutorials for you to look at for mouse events (Link). Some knowledge of linear algebra really helps, but you can manage without it.
I don't think it directly implements everything you want, but you might want to look at the 3D graph control on Code Project. This is hardly unique though -- you might want to Google for something like "opengl activex" and look at some of the alternatives. I doubt any will directly implement all you've asked for -- they'll probably include most of the basic operations, but it'll be up to you to make the connection between the mouse operations and the actions in the window.
