From last 2 days (from 16 Feb,15), I can not Open the developer.apple.com site properly, is there any problem in their end,
I have tried from more than 4 different high speed connection using the Mac(Yosemite version 10.10.1)'s own safari(Version 8.0.2 (10600.2.5)) browser, It is responding Very slow, even after 10 min it is showing like the below image.
Is there any regional problem of apple developer site now, because One of my clint from Russia, they are saying developer.apple.com is opening smoothly there. But apple.com is opening easily here also.
Can any one know, why it is not opening in Kolkata, India? is there any regional problem for developer account now?
EDIT: I have also tried with Mozila firefox and Google chrome, same issue, responding very slow.

While trying to download the Xcode 9 Beta 3, I am getting the following error on Google Chrome:
Your connection is not private.
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from download.developer.apple.com (for example, passwords, messages or credit cards). NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID
On Safari, it says
Safari can't verify the identity of the website "download.developer.apple.com"
The certificate for this website is invalid. You might be connecting to a website that is pretending to be "download.developer.apple.com", which could put your confidential information at risk. Would you like to connect to the website anyway?
I already have Xcode 9 Beta 1 and it downloaded just fine. I just want to know if everyone is experiencing this and it's safe to proceed or is this really someone trying to steal my information.
Yes, I get this error as well. It's been like this for few days.
This happens to Apple sites from time to time. I don't know why they can't get their act together and keep their certificates updated and correct for the relevant domains.
It's almost certain that this is safe to download regardless of the certificate error. If you want to be more secure, check the downloaded file hash. There are few places which keep track of Apple downloaded file hashes. For example here (well, theoretically, you can say that those hashes are also from unvalidated source, but you need to trust something at some point)
I had this issue today too. However once I connected to a VPN the issue was gone. It may related to ISP or something.

I've been looking into using Apple's Testflight in iTunes Connect this morning. About 20 mins ago all references to external testing disappeared. At the same time I got an email from Apple about scheduled maintenance on iTunes connect that's happening in 10 days.
Have they removed the external testers feature for now?
How can I access this feature now?
For what its worth, looking at in in firebug, the column for External Testers was hidden with CSS.
Update: Its back up and available for me now.

How could I switch off primary Macbook screen?
I'm working with 2 External via Thunderbolt and HDMI on new Retina Macbook.
I want to switch off retina display and work just with external monitors without closing the cover of my laptop. Is there any setup option for that? I didn't find it under Preferences.
It seems to be possible to sleep display so by I/O Kit:
http://explanatorygap.net/2009/01/31/a-screensaver-to-send-your-display-to-sleep/
But I am not sure whether it can control single monitors.
you are searching for the 'clamshell' mode. the only way i get this to work is to wake my mac with external keyboard while the lid stays closed
see: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3131
This worked like a charm on my old macbook (late 2008) with opening the lid again and the screen stays off until 'force' detecting it...
however, my retina display also wakes when in clamshell and then being opened.
There is a reason to this: Heat.
Aluminium macbooks can get really hot, especially since the vents are in the back and blowing the heat up in front of the opened display. Your retina macbook shuts itself down at about 110°C to 130°C, but please be careful.

you can try different solutions posted here: http://www.cultofmac.com/176329/

I have completed an app using an old iphone sdk. My machine is running leopard. I would like to upload it to the app store and I understand that I have to enroll as an apple developer. What is plain old stupid is that I cannot read any official documentation about uploading to the appstore without purchasing a developer's license. I don't even know if I can upload with my version of xcode and ios sdk. or if i even go through xcode to submit my app for review. my question is how do i go about submitting my app for review and is it possible to do without upgrading my machine? Regardless of the price it is extra money that I do not want to spend.
The developer program is free. You need to pay just in case you want to submit your application. You can register and see any documentation

I just built a new machine and installed the windows 7 ultimate 64 bit on it. Internet explorer 8 is giving me major pains. whenever I try to open a link in a new tab, it hangs. Although the new tab works fine if I just click on the new tab. It is just the "Ctrl+Click" or "Right Click" and "Open with new tab" that hangs the IE for around 30 seconds or so and then opens the link in a new window.
I have already tried out the solutions given here: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/InternetExplorer/thread/e312e580-1cbc-496b-8c6b-b69b8535a7bb?prof=required
Nothing works. The long batch file solution got pretty close, but it is giving an access denied on the "fixing registry bugs" part.
This is my first question at stackoverflow. Help me out guys...
If you ran the batch file as administrator and still got an access denied error, then I'd say you've got some more problems than just IE being messed up and not opening tabs. If everything else is working fine and just IE is giving you fits, then I might just suggest moving to a different browser, such as:
Google Chrome
Opera
Safari
Firefox
*Not in any specific order.
