Kibana 4,maps not showing specific areas - elasticsearch

In Kibana 3, I was able to use three types of maps US,Europe and the World Map. But in the Kibana 4,I can only see a wolrd map version. For my data purposes I need to have only the US one. Can anybody help me on this?.

You can zoom and show a particular area alone. This is saved between sessions. Hence it should work fine for you.

Use nearby places to geat the nearby places near the value that you want and place the marker using Xamarin Form Maps if you wish to do so.

In kibana, how to modify output text colour in metric visualization by condition

I'm using kibana 4, i need metric visualization which should provide result text in red color if it not meet my condition.
Example: if lastest update of log is not current date, it should show the date in Red color. Is it possible to add colour attribute with condition?
Kibana doesn't support this functionality out-of-the-box. Instead, you'll need to write your own visualization (plugin). You can get an idea of how to do this by looking at the built-in plugins. Also have a look at the kibana project wiki. (Please note that some of it is outdated.)
However, I have written a visualization for a very similar case. Have a look, I am pretty sure this will meet your needs.

How to create big organization charts like google maps?

I don't know javascript (unfortunately) and I'd like to make a mindmap-like "organization chart" similar to this one:
This map should have an ability to zoom-in and zoom-out similar to google maps, and the ability to arbitrarily connect nodes. So it is more like a free graph, not like an ordinal tree. Mindomo makes this pretty well, but it is commercial and flash-oriented.
Does anybody know of a similar solution?
My research pointed me out that this could be a svg sketch, possibly generated offline, or maybe something using canvas. A click on the node should redirect to some web location.
Google maps is good because it also hides some details, and so should do this graph map in zoomed out projection.
A few important questions:
Do you need this generated in real time based on some underlying dataset?
Aside from zooming, should the user be able to manually open/close nodes?
You can manually generate this simply using some free tools:
MindMeister
xmind
freemind
although non-traditional, can you consider using Prezi?

How to create a dynamic hover map with changing images

I am building a map navigation for a client and am stuck! I have built the map using and coords and all is fine. However I now need for each region to change colour when you hover over it.
I have done this before with simple sliced-up PNGs in Photoshop but because of the complexity of the map and overlapping items this isn't an option. I don't even know where to start - have tried some different tutorials and a lot of googling but can't find a good solution.
Here is my map so far: http://www.wiredcanvas.com/uploads/map/map.html
I want it so that when you click on a region it will turn a different colour - and I may also add a tooltip if necessary.
Any advice or help as to where I should go from here very gratefully received!!
Thank-you in advance

Highlight Data Points in Birt Reports

creating simple charts with BIRT is easy, but now I would like to bring some more life to them...
imagine a simple line chart. Let's define as a requirement, that the maximum value should be highlighted. A further requirement would be that if the user clicks on this data point, something happens.
How can I solve this?
I can imagine that I could created a second value series which consists only of the highlighted data points.
But it would be nicer if there was a JavaScript API (or even a server side java api) with which I could loop through the data points and add a highlight on the fly. Is this possible?
I think I've found a good starting point:
http://www.birt-exchange.org/org/devshare/designing-birt-reports/276-birt-chart-scripting-dynamic-markers-and-datapoint-colors/
Now I have to find a way to add on click events to certain data points...
