Magento: Detailed Image on Mouse-over for Product Attribute - magento

I would like to show a detailed image on mouseover for each of our options.
This is exactly what i am after:
http://www.potterybarn.com.au/textured-solid-pillow-cover
Any idea on how to do that? Or is there a plugin available for that?

Detailed image is usually called product zoom function and it's present in most of magento themes including default ones. It shows original image on zoom function and smaller version of the same image by default.
Images for options function is called color swatch, most of the modules aren't free. But the recent magento 1.9.1 has this feature for free in their new default theme called rwd. There are both color swatch and product image zoom features. You can look how they've done it and extend their solution if you need something more
The easiest way to achieve option image itself on hover would be to use image of resolution you need to have on hover in your configurable product. Then change html of configurable swatch options file. Currently it shows just one image, you can add the same image wrapped in some block. Then change the size of one image to be small, hide block hide big one and show it on hover via css/js.
File with code for swatches: app/design/frontend/rwd/default/template/configurableswatches/catalog/product/view/type/options/configurable/swatches.phtml

/skin/frontend/rwd/default/js/configurableswatches/swatches-list.js
and change line no: 52 "click" to "mouseover"
Then check, if correct please vote me.
Thanks.

Best way to represent list with image(using url) in Xamarin.Forms?

I want to create List View. In this List View, I will have following fields.
StackPanel
1- Image with 300 x 400 size
2- Text-Label Controls
1 Screen will hardly cover 1 and Half ViewCell.
Images will have ImageURL. I want to load image smoothly. I also want to make smooth scroll up/down with image appearing.
Can anybody please suggest me which control I should use?
If List View, which CacheStrategy I should use?
Note: For one of such functionality, I had used List View with default CacheStrategy. In that, I just faced 1 major problem of image appearing. When page initialize first time, it show image properly. But as soon as I scroll down or scroll up, image disappear or misplace. In that case, I had suffered a lot and removed image finally.
Please suggest appropriate way for above functionality.
Thank you.
For the listview, you should definitely use RecycleElement as the CachingStrategy. See here https://developer.xamarin.com/api/type/Xamarin.Forms.ListViewCachingStrategy/#Remarks
And because the images are URLs, you can use FFImageLoading. It will fade-in the image after it is downloaded (as opposed to appearing instantly after downloaded), and you can even specify a placeholder image to use while the image is being downloaded.

Magento 1.9.1 Swatches - Image Groups

After upgrading to 1.9.1 I have the colour swatch selection showing the right product image depending on the colour swatch selected on the product page.
Each product has a few alternative views per colour. These are shown below the main image as predicted as "More Views"
My problem is that ALL colours varients are shown in "More Views" when ideally only the alternative images of the colour selected should be shown.
Has anyone found a way to group the main image and it's alternative colour variant to show dependent on the swatch selected? Please see screen shots.
In 1.9.1 there is a filter inside app/design/frontend/rwd/catalog/product/view/media.phtml that excludes any image with a Label matching any of the color options. All other images you upload on the configurable product will be shown.
On the configurable product, go to images tab and check your images:
You need to have one image checked as Base, Small and Thumbnail
(optional) One or more additional images to show below "More Views" (from one color option only). Do not upload all color options.
One image per each color option to be used as a swatch. Label each one with the color name and add the suffix "-swatch" (i.e. Light Green-swatch)
The RWD theme of Magento 1.9.1 will only swap the main image when you click on a swatch color. Images below "More Views" will remain the same.
You can find more info on this article
I was also wondering about this... but I think the media gallery won't change out of the box in 1.9.1. However, you might be able to show and hide some image groups via CSS/JS to only show the associated images of the currently selected option.

Is it possible to change the black colour of CKEditor Toolbar icons(in the moono skin), like one can with webfonts.?

I have just upgraded to CKEditor 4.4.5 from 3.5, and notice quite a few changes !! One of the changes is the new skin called Moono which looks great. However it did get me wondering whether it would be possible to change the black in the menu icons to a custom colour, for branding reasons for example. We do this in the rest of the web application using a combination of Server code and CSS.
Many thanks.
Toolbar icons in Moono are images, so if you want to change them, you'd need to create a new skin or use an alternative one from the CKEditor Addons Repository.
However, since Moono is a monochromatic skin, maybe for branding purposes it would be enough for you to use the so-called "chameleon feature" that lets you change the UI color with a simple configuration option?
If so, just use config.uiColor to provide a mataching RGB color value or an HTML color name, as in:
config.uiColor = '#AADC6E';
See a working example here: http://sdk.ckeditor.com/samples/uicolor.html

Add thumbnails to product description area of Magento that show in Main image box when clicked

I would like to add thumbnails to my product description area in Magento that when clicked show as a large size in the main image box. The same as what is happening on this page with the different colour options: http://www.weddingstar.com.au/product/love-bird-damask-nut-free-gourmet-milk-chocolate-bar
Any ideas on how to do this would be appreciated. Thanks!
you could take the elements of media.phtml and put it in the description.phtml file. There is a better way to do it but thats a quick and relatively easy way to get it done and polish later. hopefully thats a nudge in the right direction.

Proper way to use images in NSMenuItem?

I've put some images next to NSMenuItems using the image option in Interface Builder. The custom image is a simple PNG. I was hoping the system would automatically alter the color of the image during mouse over like it does with stock images. It does not. What am i doing wrong?
Here's a pic of a stock image vs my custom one:
In code, call [menuItem.offStateImage setTemplate:YES]
