I'm developing mobile app for windows phone using Windows phone 8 SDK (Visual Studio Express 2012 For Windows Phone). I want to use autoComplete facilities when coding in Javascript. For that I need to use Intellisense for JS.
According to my knowledge, To configure Intellisense according to my knowledge,It have navigate to the [Tools] > [Options] > Text Editor > JavaScript > IntelliSense >
But in my
[Tools] > [Options] > Text Editor > list there is No item called JavaScript.
Please someone help me for solve this.
Are you running Visual Studio 12, or Visual Studio 2012? You state "12" in the text, but have tagged the post with "visual-studio-2012". Confusingly, version "12" is the 2013 release.
Regardless, please ensure you are running Visual Studio 2013 with at least update 2 (preferably update 4), and also be sure to enabled the "Web Developer Tools" features.
See Windows Phone 8 template in Visual Studio 2013 Preview for a similar issue to see if any of this applies.

Here is image of the problem
You said that you installed the "Xamarin program", but what exactly did you install? I cannot tell from your screenshot if you are using Visual Studio 2013 or Visual Studio 2015, but...
If you are using Visual Studio 2013, you will need to use the Xamarin Universal Installer(Just input your information and the file will be available to download).
If you are using Visual Studio 2015, then you can install Xamarin directly from within the Visual Studio 2015 installer window. Using Microsoft's guide from here you can:
...open Control Panel > Programs and Features, choose the Visual Studio 2015 item, and click Change. When the installer opens, click Modify
Check the following boxes:
Cross-Platform Mobile Development > C#/.NET (Xamarin)
For Windows 8+: Cross-Platform Mobile Development > Microsoft Visual Studio Emulator for Android
(Optional) If you plan on targeting Windows devices, also check Windows and Web Development > Universal Windows App Development Tools and/or Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.0/8.1 Tools
Click the Install button
Once installation is complete... check for Xamarin updates through Tools > Options > Xamarin or Tools > Options > Xamarin > Other, where you’ll find a Check Now
I have installed the SDK for Windows Phone 8 however I can't create a Windows Phone project in Visual Studio 2012
I have an idea on why it's not working, my Visual Studio is in French and Windows Phone SDK is in English
Is there any quick fix without re-downloading either the sdk or vs 2012 in the same language?
I finished downloading the Visual Studio English Language Pack and using VS2012 in English instead of copying around the templates from one language to another.
No, you have to install both Visual Studio 2012 and Windows Phone SDK in the same language. Otherwise the templates won't appear.
I have VS 2010 Professional installed on 64bit Windows 7. I installed the Windows Phone 7 developer tools, this ran fine without any hassle: I can start the emulator. However, when I try to create a project, I can't see the templates for phone development. I searched the installed templates, but they appear to be not installed. Any comments would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
If installed correctly, they will be under:
Installed Templates > Visual C# > Silverlight for Windows Phone (for Silverlight templates)
or
Installed Templates > Visual C# > XNA Game Studio 4.0
If you can see the options in the menu, but not the templates, check the version of the .NET Framework which is selected - from the dropdown at the top of the dialog.
You could also check they are installed by looking at:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\IDE\ItemTemplates\CSharp\Silverlight for Windows Phone\1033
If they're not there, try repairing the install or reinstalling.
In Visual Studio 2010 you can drag tabs out to separate windows but you can not collect them together as additional tabbed elements. Is there a VS 2010 add-on to allow you to group your extra windows into tabs? It would be really nice to have a set of tabs on each of my monitors.
The best place to look is the Visual Studio Gallery for 2010 Extensions. If you are lucky someone else has already had the idea and created an extension (VSIX) for you.
Otherwise, why do you have a go at writing it yourself by grabbing a copy of the Visual Studio 2010 SDK and read the Getting Started Guide.
UPDATE: I just stumbled on this awesome Visual Studio Extension that may do want you are looking for: Visual Studio 2010 Pro Power Tools.
http://visualstudiogallery.msdn.microsoft.com/d0d33361-18e2-46c0-8ff2-4adea1e34fef
Productivity Power Tools does it, and it's free. The feature is called Document Well.
I just pulled the 2010 ultimate from MSDN, and I see there's no "Smart Device" options anymore. Does anybody knows how to enable it, or how to install it?
Sincerely,
Yvan
According to various sources in the net Visual Studio 2010 doesn't support Windows Mobile 6.5 development (see here and here for example). Of course there might be an SDK available in the future. For now, you need to use Visual Studio 2008.
Now you can with windows phone SDK7.1 You just need Visual Studio 2010 SP1 and download the Windows Phone SDK 7.1 from here
