I was wondering whether and how it is possible to change the colors available for customizing Ribbons: . I am using PowerPoint 2010.
As I result, I want a color palette with my own colors on my ribbon.
Any suggestions?
Kind regards,
Tobias

I am using Visual Studio 2019 to build an Excel Addin with a Custom Task Pane.
In the User Control used as Custom Task Pane, i added imlNavigation(ImageList)
I tried to generate transparent Images PNG with size [512,512] and attached it with the Buttons, but the Quality is very poor
I tried to generate transparent Images PNG [16,16] but no changes.
Below is the screenshot. And even the transparency is not good. We still see those white colors around the pictures:
Can anyone please suggest me what exactly I shall do as I am still new in Visual Studio?
Where could I get transparent Icons/Images to use for my Buttons?
What Extension shall I use if necessary to get them easily attached with my Buttons?
Where do I fail and I should still learn regarding the buttons?
I am willing to learn and to follow you instructions and suggestions. Thank you in advance!
May be instead of using image list you can use Image Resources?
Click on the Button
On your property click on the assist button of image
From the Select Resource Dialog box, click on Project Resource File
Import you pictures (Png transparent) better 25-25px or 20-20px based on the size of your button. It accepts transparent images as well
This should improve the quality of your button images.

Using Ribbon Workbench 2016 (3.1.177.1).
I'm fairly new to this, but I've successfully created a button for the unified interface which performs as expected.
However, the icon I've selected is white on a transparent background - as I believe it should be.
This works fine for the UI on desktop, which renders the command bar with a blue background.
However, when used on a phone, all commands appear in the "More Commands" flyout with a white background so the icon is not visible, as it is white on white.
I had a look at the display/enable rules, and couldn't see an appropriate option (CommandClientTypeRule only offers 'Modern, 'Refresh' and 'Legacy').
Is there a way for me to specify an image to use in the Modern interface in Phone layout? Or a way to show a different button if it is in the context of a flyout?
Thanks
Yes, the unified interface uses SVG image for Ribbon icons.
It can be set under ModernImage option in Ribbon Workbench after uploading in Dynamics CRM web resource.
I have added some new buttons in the ribbon bar of Opportunity entity using ribbon workbench solution.
They are all working fine at the moment, but the only issue is that, I am unable to get any option in the ribbon workbench to change the appearance (back color, fore color, font, font style, size, etc) of the button, and so the button doesn't stand out from rest of the buttons.
Any idea on how to change the appearance of buttons in the ribbon?
I don't believe you can. You are probably best giving it an icon that stands out.
You can change the color scheme or add a logo/icon for customization.

All answers on similar questions talk about the editor's colors. The icls files you can download are also for the editor only. I would like to change the UI colors. The supplied Darcula scheme is the only dark one but it is unreadably with its light gray on medium gray text.
You can only do so by modifying the source code of Android Studio. The two currently available look & feels include a lot of custom painting, colors and icons, so it's not feasible to provide the possibility to customize them through the UI.
Where does Outlook 2010 load these e-mail icons from?
I found a lot of icons in outlook.exe and outllibr.dll, but some are not among them.
I used the following workaround to extract the icons:
Activate the Windows Classic theme
Make a screenshot containing the desired icons
Set the window background color to black
Make another screenshot
Use this python script to reconstruct the alpha channel
