I have two questions regarding CKEditor Widgets:
First of all - I want to make it so when I highlight text and then click the widget's toolbar button, the highlighted contents are inserted into one of the widget's editable areas. How do I do that?
Secondly, I need to be able to nest my widgets - so in one of the widget's editable areas, I need to be able to add more instances of the widget. Currently, when inside my widget, the button for my widget is disabled. I tried adding allowedContent: true in the definition, but that doesn't seem to work.
Thanks in advance.
Regarding the second question – support for nesting widget is introduced in CKEditor 4.5.0 which will be released next week. See 4.5.0 Beta blog post. Before CKEditor 4.5.0 there's no support for nesting widgets, hence the button is disabled.
Regarding the first question – it is not a correctly formulated for StackOverflow. You should provide more details and some code that you already have. Read more in https://stackoverflow.com/help/how-to-ask. What's more, you should ask one question at a time, so please split them.

I have a yes/no fields that controls whether the next 3 sections are visible (relevant) or not. It works fine, but as soon as the visibility state is changed at runtime, the sections cannot be clicked anymore in wizard view! I also cannot navigate to them using the prev/next buttons at the bottom. Is this a bug?
I defined rules for all sections that have a conditional visibility state:
relevant="$control-1 eq true()"
Is there another way i could do this, maybe as a "global" XPath expression?

This looks like a bug. We fixed a very similar one with #3547, but I entered a new bug since this is failing again, see #3610. Please follow-up there.
I would kindly ask for your help :) From couple of days I am trying to achieve "linked" custom field in content editor and dropdown in page editor.
Basically I want to have dropdown in page editor and content editor which are responsible for a same thing.
In my c# code i have enums which represent directions. I created custom field which accepts assembly and class with overridden onload method and successfully populate dropdown values in the content editor. So far so good but i have no idea how to create dropdown which will represent the same functionality inside page editor.
So please give me any ideas...
Judging from your reply to my comment you need to think of the following: How is my field value being rendered onto a page?
If you are always using 1 control to do this then you just need to ensure that this control has 2 different rendering modes depending on the Context.PageMode
But as I understand it you want this dropdown to also appear when someone renders your custom field using a <sc:FieldRenderer>. In this case you'll need to look into the RenderField pipeline of Sitecore. There you find a processor called RenderWebEditing. Possibly through some manipulation here you can get your dropdown appear as you wish.
How can i add check box inside combo box within the grid view.
As far as I know - it impossible, but they have similar editor type - "clist", check
http://www.dhtmlx.com/docs/products/dhtmlxGrid/samples/01_cell_types/09_pro_excell_extra.html
You can outside the grid view, like this link suggest (from the official dhtmlx forums).
But inside the grid you cannot.
The closest answer I found on the official dhtmlx forums said:
There is no special integration of combo with checkboxes and dhtmlxgrid.
"combo" column type purposed to be used with plain combobox mode only.
Technically it possible to change it , so it will render as list with checkboxes, but checked values will not be accessible through grid's API
I hope this answer could help you. If not, you should ask the dhtmlx team directly, as it does not seem to be possible without imperfect workarounds.
Is it possible to display two editable text boxes in one cell of the JqGrid
Sorry, but the description of the problem in the comment to your question still don't contain any examples which shows why you have to display two text boxes in one cell. Moreover you still not answered on the question: which editing mode you use?
The problem is the following: if you use some software product you can use a lot of its standard features. In the case the implementation will be short and you can make very nice solution writing very small code. If you one the other side would try just follow your original imagination of how all should looks like you can spend many time and to write a lot of code. As the result from the point of view of the user who will work with your site all will be almost the same as in the simple solution. Is it really required?
If you would use form editing for example you can easy display additional textboxes, checkboxes or textareas from hidden columns. jqGrid automatically create controls for all hidden columns which have editable: true property. So what you need to do in the case is just to show hidden field in the form with respect of $.show (like in the answer).
I used the same concept in "trirand.com/blog/jqgrid/jqgrid.html#";
There in the Row editing --> Custom edit, JqGrid demo examples, its displaying three buttons on a one cell.

You can't do proper columns - ie. when the text flows from the bottom of one column it moves to the top of the next, without use of CSS3 (which isn't widely supported). You could probably do something with a bit of mootools or jquery as an alternative.
However, if you just want to show the intro text in one div and the main text in another (something like http://www.kodaklens.co.uk/mobile/) then you need to modify your template /templates/templatename/html/com_content/article/default.php, by creating your required 'static' layout and then loading the different article pieces into each container, but this won't help with text flow.
